Begin Your Day With A Clean Slate-Be Open To New Ideas

Good morning everyone,

As I watch the morning news here in Las Vegas, Nevada-my new home I am still daily adjusting to the neighborhoods and people and how radically different it is here.
Today I hope you begin it with new and fresh ideas. Give yourself and hour in the morning where you regroup, reassess the goals you have in your life.

If you don’t have any goals, it is about time you create some!

To live you life without anything to aspire to and without knowing what your true talents are for you to foster is like not knowing yourself.

The closer you are to knowing every talent you possess and what you are best at, as well as what you love most-the closer you will arrive at living a life more fulfilling than you ever believed possible.

Don’t let others sway your decisions, because you will be living your life for yourself in the end.

After all of the things you do for others, after all the selfless actions you do for your kids, your spouse and the obligatory things you do in your daily work, you are left with yourself and that is it.

You are going to be on this earth hopefully for another 20 years and why not enjoy every minute of being on earth?

Give yourself time in the morning to hear the birds chirp, drink coffee or tea or other relaxing beverage, and just “be”. Don’t have any noise on except the ambient sounds of the world waking up in your city in your state in your country.

Listen in relative silence and you will be amazed what kinds of things this reveals.
It is through silence and the sounds of nature you can hear angels sing in your heart.

May you have a blessed day and meet people who are kind, caring and good and interested in the things you are.

This is from the inspiring blog “Breathe This Life”…
I have heard from people that I helped them reach to higher levels and utilize every ability that they were given. My soul smiles in such a way that I have no words when I know I made an impact in someone’s life in a positive way.

Until Then…

By Paulette Le Pore Motzko

There will be so many bridges to cross in my life time but I will keep walking up with strength and courage until I make the other side.

There will be so many goals to achieve until the vision in my mind matches the vision in life I live.

Every day I will mentor others to make their path easier because I have already learned how to make their journey easier.

There will be knowledge to learn hiding in every opportunity and experience I live, as long as my eyes can see “outside the box” to recognize one.

I see stories in every event, interviews in every extraordinary person, travel journals in scenic places and I will look at the world through the eyes of a Nikon camera.

Photographs I take become a storyboard for something greater than the photo itself and for Pictorials and advertisements for successful companies.

I want to never lose the wonder and magic living and of being receptive to sounds and music of life.

In every person I meet there are gifts of wisdom, talents shared, books read to take note of, lessons learned and bonds of souls and minds waiting.

Everyone is a stranger until you say the magic word “hello” then that is the open door to become something more.

If you told me when I read the cook books of my mother’s and made dishes of my father’s I would one day create two cooking web sites and every dish I created would be seen, shared and enjoyed by people all over the world-I wouldn’t have believed you-but I did and they are.

A year ago needed a platform so I could write about topics that mattered to me such as civil rights, disabled people, positivity, creativity, spirituality, the homelessness epidemic, the misuse of the budget in America by our leaders, and how we all can make a difference in our communities, in our cities, in our schools and in our homes-and how we are all connected on the planet earth, no matter what race, color or creed-and if you had told me it would be called “Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate”-but it is and between 20 to 70 countries in a month believe what I write is worth reading and the stories and photos I choose have great merit.

When you discover your talents and devote enough self-introspection to reveal your genuine passions and things that make you “tick” like a clock or that make your soul smile-you have the magic ticket to how to never “work” another day in your life and instead, earn money doing what you love.

My credo is to maximize each talent and learn as much as possible about it and immerse your mind like a tea bag in steeping to make a pot of tea. Associate with only the best people who have the highest moral standards and philosophies.

Accentuate the positive while ignoring the negative and destructive and abusive and you will paint your life just like Vincent Van Gogh painted his famous sunflowers in French Impressionistic style.

When you take the time to “invest in yourself” and in truly being your best friend, the world will play a symphony and you will be in-sync and living will feel natural.

There will never be a perfect time to do what you have longed to do, so do it!

You are the only one you need persmission from to follow your dreams and persue what you have always wanted.

With persistence and determination your present will keep giving “presents” of joy, growth, breadth and understanding, knowledge, and so many more small and large gifts when you expand your view of what you know to something greater than yourself.

And until my goals are achieved I will do my best, strive for the best, associate with the best, not give up, not back down and enjoy my life and what I have and enjoy my friends and family-

Until Then.

What do you love doing more than anything else that you have a special talent for?

This is where I ask you my readers, all 511 of you on Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate….a telling question.

When you do what you love you will always be successful at it.

What do you love doing more than anything on earth? How do you know what things are? Tell tale signs are the time flies so quickly, you have no idea where the time goes!

Not acceptable answers are video or computer games or watching the tube which are passive passtimes usually. But I am talking about things that involve the world, people and things in reality.

When I first posted this I had 500 followers now there are 11 more and they keep growing. I hope that out of the dozen people who loved this post, you will go one step further and write an answer to this.

What are your special talents and abilities?

Look at your answers and look for ways to earn money, help others etc with what God gave you.

There is no right or wrong answers here, only YOUR ANSWER that illustrates your unique self.

You can have passion for more than one thing in life. The trick is to take stock of all your innate abilities first, then figure out ways you could earn a living doing just that.

Stop Looking For The Magic….You Are It!

you are the magic you’re seeking –

So often we are in a never-ending quest to become “something else” or “someone else”. We get so wrapped up with the quest that we completely ignore the talents and abilities we now have.

Take stock of your unique abilities.
Sit at your computer or laptop and open up your word processing program (Word or Word Perfect) and begin with Number 1 and so on and just type in your abilities.
(On MS Word set the program to make a list so all you do is hit return and it automatically numbers it for you.)

Then, once you have a good list, begin another list called “Things I Am Passionate About and Love Doing”.

Number the list and you will unviel what will become a road way that will lead you to ideas of jobs and careers for you….doing what you love.

Third list is….can you guess?

Jobs and Careers Using my Abilities, Talents Doing What I Love.

This merges the findings of all three lists together.

Enjoy happy discovering about yourself.

If you do this exercise, and it helped you, write me back at

Who is Part of Your Garden of Friends and Why?

I have many friends that I genuinely care about on Facebook and do not simply “collect friends” like a collection of bangle bracelets on my arm!

One of my dearest friends Raj Naheem wrote recently that “I was part of his garden of friends growing like a rose”, or something to that effect. I will say, thank you Raj for being there for me in good times and bad and bringing out the best of who I am and being able to see it always shining through.

Friends are like these tuberoses growing and the best of friends grow side by side with you like these do here, even though maybe you live 100’s of miles apart, you are joined in the thoughts and beliefs you both share, your definition of good and bad, and the passions, talents and abilities you both share.

Much like the stem, leaves and the flower itself are one unified whole, I go through life knowing that my values, integrity, goodness and compassion I show outwardly are all interconnected to eachother. People notice the flowers in a garden first but it couldn’t support itself if it didn’t have the stem rooted in the ground deriving nutrients from the soil.
I think of my soul as what the soil is to the flower, giving it balance, making it stronger, being almost as essential as the water and the sun.

The world sees our faces but deep within shines outwardly our soul, the DNA of who we are and what we value. There is nothing more important in what we possess in life.

This is why we can see a woman who for all good purposes is beautiful to the eye…a deception, but when she opens her mouth, if profanity, disgust and hate shine through, she is not truly beautiful but an illusion.

Our faces are like the blooms in a flower but who we are, what we value, and our attitude towards other people and humanity color us beautiful or ugly.

Choose your friends and family members carefully.

After the age of 20 or 30 years old, who is in our lives is a choice. We hold the control buttons.

Unknowingly, you will pick up attributes and qualities from them. You could go from being a splendid red rose to be shown off in a vase only to become a dandelion weed to be picked and thrown away with the trash!

Discovering Your Joy-Capitalizing on Your Assets

ExtraordinaryViewPointsDiscoverYourJoy1.25.2013Some times we need to do a little self-introspection to find out what we were meant to do.

I did a lot of that when I couldn’t earn a living teaching piano any more, or at least in my area. We don’t have to do one thing in life any how. The more “irons you have in the fire” the more chance you have of earning a living. Most investment consultants suggest that you have at least two sources of income, so if one phases out, you have a back up that will take over.

Take out a piece of paper, your journal or your word processing program and write down 10 things that you love to do most. Things that give you joy and you could do it all day.

Then after you write those things down, write down another list of your skills and special abilities or talents.

This could take a week to do, but then again, you are worth a week of your time, aren’t you?

The more you get to know YOU, the better chance you will arrive at a career that you were meant to live.

Once you get your two lists-The first being what gives you joy and your passions, and the second-your special abilities and talents, look at them and analyze them all.

Look and see if you can see a career that combines a combination of the talents that you use all in one.

Make a list of the candidates of jobs/careers. Career is what you are shooting for, because it has a future, a way you can advance and it is something you will be doing 5 years from now.

If you have an Android phone or IPhone with the Vocal Search app on it, talk into it and say your abilities and then say the word “careers in _________” and see what you come up with.

These are brainstorming methods for arriving at jobs you will truly love.

People that do what they love live longer, have less stress and their days go by so quickly they don’t even realize it.

I hope that at least a dozen of my readers out of the 712 followers I have on this site do this, then write in with what they came up with. It should be interesting.

If even one of my 700+ readers discover a new life for themselves that helps them feel rewarded and happy, this was worth writing and posting for the world to see!

Chapters like this one is an example of what will be in my upcoming book. If you would like to get on my Book List, email me at:
