There are a few simple guidelines I operate by in life and some of them are:

  1. Put Integrity and value first, no matter what anybody else does.
  2. If you’re in business don’t be afraid to turn jobs down that would undermine your integrity or would be beneath what you represent.
  3. Fine tune your game plan every day.
  4. Be a voracious reader and lifelong learner.
  5. If you wonder how some thing is done, do research and then find out how to do it. Then, if you really want to do something cool, show someone else how to do it afterwards. You might learn to do it so well that you are able to mentor someone else in the future!
  6. Spend time in nature or at a minimum sunshine everyday. If you don’t have sunshine and the weather is dismal or rainy, then put on nature sounds for listen to the rain outside your window. Open the window slightly so you can hear it. Nature sounds are calming because we’re connected to them.
  7. Exercise and spend time building your balance, stamina, and concentration through exercises like yoga and Tai Chi.
  8. Keep only quality people around you who represent your ideals and ethical beliefs.
  9. Try to make as many voice-to-voice phone calls as you possibly can instead of texting. You will find that you’re going to be building more quality relationships because you’re going to hear vocal intonation that you wouldn’t have heard otherwise. It’s a much more human, highly personal way to communicate too- the way we did things before cell phones were invented! Another Fringe benefit that will blend over into other areas of your life, is that you’ll have fewer distractions while you work on more important projects.
  10. The satisfaction from communicating in a more old school way and avoiding some of the new School Technology is incredible. It will make you feel more relaxed and less like a tech geek.
  11. Try to minimize multi-tasking, and instead focus on quality, quality and more quality. Work on one specific thing at a time and keep your concentration level high into the best that you’re able.

Sign and Share Tom Steyer’s Petition to Impeach Donald Trump: https://action.needtoimpeach.com/t4-img?sc=fbs

I already signed this existing petition which allows you to voice your opinion about how Trump is handling things as President.

It’s all done digitally and takes about 3 minutes to sign digitally.

1 million signatures are needed so share it everywhere if you feel strongly about Freedom, the Integrity of our people as American citizens, and want to see that our children grow up an environment where they look up to their elders and are not disgusted by them instead.

Give me long enough and I can usually find the answer to most anything.

I’m kind of like a white paper in writing, in that I try tout find the answer or solution in most every situation, finding positive solutions to problems or simply enhancing the quality of people’s personal and work lives.

BLESS THE BEAUTIFUL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Happy Flag Day 2017!

Photo created by Paulette L Motzko, Copyright June 2017 PLM Studios.

Wednesday June 14th 2017 at

Here’s a note about the sparking American flag I used in the photo here….

It is one of my grandmother’s cherished pins she used to wear. She was my mother’s mother and singlehandedly raised her children on her own due to my grandfather James Hubert Hart dying of spinal meningitis when my mother was four years old.

Mom said the day that she finally realized that she was alive was the day she overheard someone talking about who is getting all the kids, and what houses they were all going to because Grandma couldn’t afford to take care of them all herself.

Grandma wasn’t afraid to take a man’s job in a time when it was was very unpopular for a woman to rivet airplanes -but she did.

There wasn’t anything that could stop my grandmother Ruby Hart.

She was proud to be an American citizen and so appreciative of everything that you ever did for her— just like my mother.

That’s why when she had Alzheimer’s disease-like my mother had, untiL she touched the face of God nearly a year ago  I didn’t think anything of helping taking care of her.

I bought her big print Readers Digest books to encourage her to talk and keep her mind active…and they did.

She read one of them every day … so I bought more for her and she smiled as she read each story.

I found them at local libraries and we would talk about the stories in each story, which would inspire her to tell me about her life recalling memories of when she was younger.

I don’t have a digital image of Grandma-yet’ but I’ll create one for this story I didn’t know I was going to write, until writing the first sentence!

I know we have our trouble in America, but when you compare us to other countries- it’s pretty damn nice country anyway you look at it. We have precious  freedoms another country can match.

I didn’t say God Bless America because I wanted everyone no matter who they were to be able to relate to the image and the meaning behind image.

I’m Christian so I’ll always say God Bless America, but as an empowered lady I would love to see all of us all over the world worry less about religion & culture and focus more about just treating each other kindly and know everyone has a right to believe what they feel strongly about.

As long as they are not hurting you or anyone then let him believe it if they find solace and peace through it.

Uniting as living, breathing people who have the power to good-is my dream for not only America but for the world.

If I wrote my entire name, complete with my middle name, confirmation name, maiden name and then married name it would look something like this….

Paulette Ann Therese Le Pore Motzko.

I was confirmed in 2001 after reading prayers of my Nanny’s and seeing a St. Therese chaplet advertised in the church bulletin.

I sent for it and began saying the 24 Glory Be To The Father prayers, (one for each of the 24 years she lived), asking her to carry my intention’s to the Throne of God like a bouquet of sweet roses. Roses started appearing in places where no roses grew and always when I asked for something,  or the prayer would be answered.

That’s when I wanted to become confirmed, adding Therese to my name as a testimony to her influence in my life, which was very late for any Catholic.  I never cared about what any one else did,  but always stayed true to myself and genuine of heart. My Mother was my Sponsor with the Bishop. Those photos are stellar to look back on today.

Even if you’re not Catholic but Christian, Muslim, Jewish or any other faith; there is great merit to be gleaned in St. Therese’s wisdom-filled words.

Below is a chaplet of St. Therese.

Every Action Has a Chain Reaction in Life -Make Your Actions Great, Memorable and Lasting!

  • Make the things you’re involved with in life be positive chain reactions.
  •  Make people glad they know you.
  • Don’t be manipulative.
  • Don’t be a user.
  • Be a giver.
  • Don’t look for something every time you do something – good or positive for someone for no reason.
  • When you give someone a gift that’s what that means – it’s a gift. You’re not looking for something in return. If you are looking for something in return, then that means you are manipulative and you’re doing it because you expect something- and it’s not a gift it all is it?

Make your intentions genuine.

Be sincere.

Have integrity.

Have big picture ideas where you see the big picture of the entire world and much as the nose on your face.

Shoot for longevity in the projects you’re working on.

Genuinely try and help every client, as unique a’s they are.

When you open your mind and think of opportunities and what you can give, and ways you could help each client—great things happen.

Don’t compare ourself to what everyone else is doing. Think outside the box and think for yourself. Expand on your ideas.

If all you do is follow others, you could be following mediocrity! You want to be the one that leads the way to new, brighter Horizons!

Opportunities will arise that will appear as though if by Magic. I am a very spiritual, intuitive, Christian lady; I know that “magic” is GOD.

Blessings will surface effortlessly when you have your mind off the dollars you’re getting for the job. Instead, focus on building lasting relationships and building in creating extraordinary projects that lead to recurring work and passive income.

Life is way more than quick payoffs.

Success isn’t measured by how much money you have in the bank but rather what kind of human being you are and what your value system is. You can make good money and add value to other people’s lives and enjoy doing it. All those things are possible for you and I. You have to give it all some serious thought though, with no distractions.

Everything you do in life builds your reputation, and from your soul, your mind and attitude, your heart and your brain- your reputation will follow you the rest of your life and each positive, proactive action carves your reputation.

Do good.

Do great.

Do exemplary things.

Don’t be afraid of hard work because there is a huge payoff that will help more than you awaiting you.

Paulette Motzko’s Writing Books  Recommendations and Pathways to Inspiration

This article was inspired by one of my recent followers, who went through a very tragic and tumultuous year. Because of this it stopped this once prolific writer from producing anything at all.

Sometimes we can be over critical on ourselves, overanalyzing everything that we do. That quality doesn’t help us when we create anything of value in this world, written or otherwise. Create because you want to create. Whether it be be a mud pie, a sandcastle,  a watercolor painting, a photograph, a beautiful song,  a recipe, a loaf of bread, or  the manuscript for your first book.

Wallpaper Image from Zedge.com.

Writing can be catharsis or it can be euphoria. You can carve every word just as though you were Michelangelo and you were carving marble transforming  something  hard and solid into something that breathes with life.

That’s the analogy I like best when it comes to writing, and it has served me well since my Honors English days in High School. I took every English class that Garden Grove High had to offer I had phenomenal teachers, better than even in college.

And one thing I did in every writing class is writing is to write in my personal Journal -and just write every day.

In other words, write things that the world never see.

There are things that are only for you, God, and serve a very valid purpose.  If you don’t have a journal, go buy a nice one at Barnes & Noble, or simply use Microsoft Office  Word  on your smartphone computer or tablet.

Through devoting time to writing in a special place that inspires you, which is very important, extraordinary things will emerge. Stories can develop right before your eyes, poems can be written, recipes can be thought of.

With everything you write anywhere, especially on a Blog that seen all over the world – you’re gaining  experience, exposure, notoriety, readership and it’s just enjoyable. The enjoyable part is the most important one of all.

Once you start carving out time for writing, you’ll start carving words that are memorable and lasting and worth remembering.

If you are a writer, check out my other blog called A Writer’s Joy. A Writer’s Joy

Any kind of art, written or otherwise, is an extension of your soul. Art I’d an extension of  your inner most being. Writing is one of those timeless arts, that if used in the right way,  can outlive you do great things long after you leave this earth, creating a legacy.

Write because you feel what you’re doing is beautiful and has merit, or serves a valid purpose, or can simply  give joy, enlightenment someone, educate or you’d simply like to share it with the world. That’s exactly what you can do on a blog.

I’m going to be adding to this book list over the next week. I’m going to start with these two, which in themselves are phenomenal starting points, even if no other books were added to the list.

I hope my words of encouragement and blessings on all of your present and future creations extraordinary Beyond Your Wildest Dreams! To all of the artists, writers, photographers, musicians, and chefs create what’s never been created before. Enjoy the process. Learn everything you can about your craft. Read books, and associate with people who are doing what you want to do and let them enter you in every way they possibly can. Listen to advice and listen to helpful criticism but don’t let others dim the light that shines inside you that’s waiting to burst like a beacon to the world.

I, for one, love strength, daring, fortitude. I do not want people to kill the fight in them; I want them to fight for the right things. Helen Keller

Helen Keller Says: “I, for one, love strength, daring, fortitude. I do not want people to kill the fight in them; I want them to fight for right things.”

One of the earliest known pictures of Helen Keller with her extraordinary teacher Anne Sullivan. She was my role model since I was 9 years old diagnosed with epilepsy. I discovered her and playing piano I’m cooking, and writing, it is very early age and very pivotal age in my life. I realized after reading what she did dealt with what she had to deal with that I could do anything I put my mind to do, if I only wanted to badly enough.

Later picture of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan,  also from Pinterest, . Photographer unknown.

Anne Sullivan brought Enlightenment to Helen Keller’s life. Before Anne Sullivan entered Helen Keller’s dark and Silent world, she didn’t understand why she was there and didn’t understand that everything had a meeting and everything had a name in this world. I suggest you read any of the books that Helen Keller wrote. Your life and your attitude will be forever changed. She was brilliant and it was Anne Sullivan that brought out that brilliance hiding like a tulip waiting to bloom buried deep in the Earth.

Six Word Stories That Tell About You and Your Life

http://www.smithmag.net/

Smith Magazine is a wonderful magazine I just discovered by doing a search on Google.

The most difficult thing in writing I think, used to be succinct and concise say what you want and few words. It’s not so much pinpointing the right descriptive terms and saying what you want, but for most writers it’s trimming excess verbage.

Is it hard to write but then again I’m going to try my hand at my imagination along with it.

If you’ve never written a six-word story before well join the club!

Share a six word story in the comment box about you and your life.

TRUE TRANQUILITY

Wisdom Story: “True Tranquility”
—————————
“Once upon a time in ancient China, the Emperor was in his study, looking over volumes of diplomatic documents. He found it hard to concentrate, so he summoned his most trusted Minister. When the Minister arrived, he saw that the Emperor was pacing back and forth, looking irritable.

The Emperor said to him: “I wish to focus on the affairs of the state, but my mind is unsettled and agitated. When I feel like this, I need something I can look at to help me regain tranquility. Have the best artist in the land create a painting that has the power to calm me down. I want the theme of this painting to be ‘True Tranquility.’”

“As you command, Your Majesty.”

A few days later, the Minister reported that there were three artists widely considered to be the best in China. They were equally talented, so he brought all of them into the palace. Once they understood what the Emperor wanted, they began to paint.

When the work was done, the Emperor went into the studio with the Minister to see for himself. The first painting they looked at depicted a placid lake surrounded by mountains. It was a beautiful scene; the surface of the lake seemed perfectly still and conveyed a peaceful feeling. The Emperor smiled: “This is beautiful.”

The second painting showed a snowscape. It evoked the silence after a snowfall, a deep silence that went beyond mere lack of noise, because the snow banks absorbed all sound. Both the Minister and the Emperor nodded their approval. “Very insightful,” said the Emperor.

They looked at the third painting, which featured a waterfall. “I am sorry, Your Majesty,” the Minister said. “It looks like this artist did not understand my instructions to paint a scene of serenity. Let me discard this painting, and we can choose from the first two.”

He reached for the painting, but the Emperor stopped him: “No, wait.” He stared at it for a moment longer, and then said: “This is the painting for me.”

“What? But – Your Majesty! How can this waterfall compare to the other two in representing tranquility? I do not understand!”

“The waterfall is not the most important thing in this painting,” said the Emperor. “Look again.”

The Minister took another look at the painting, more carefully this time. He saw that there was a tree next to the waterfall. One of the branches of the tree held a nest. A bird was sleeping inside that nest.

“See how the bird is able to relax and rest even though the deafening torrent is so close to it,” the Emperor pointed out. “It has such a profound quietness within that external conditions have no power to irritate or disturb. Now that is the essence of True Tranquility!””

When was the last time the you compare yourself to the little bird in the nest it wasn’t disturbed by the raging water fall?

What do you do now to cope with the stresses of life that you can share with others to help them too?

The Giving Tree

This story is so sad but beautifully illustrates how we should try and do and give everything we possibly can to our parents while we can.

The tree this gives mangoes is a metaphor for our parents and the boy represent every child.

One day they will need us and since they gave us LIFE itself,  we can create extraordinary memories to draw back on of the TIME we spent with them.

Wisdom Story: “The Giving Tree”
—————————
“Once upon a time, there lived a big mango tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the mangoes, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, The little boy grew, and he no longer played around the tree.
One day, the boy came back to the tree with a sad look on his face. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don’t play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, I don’t have money… but you can pick all my mangoes and sell them so you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He picked all the mangoes on the tree and left happily. The boy didn’t come back. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy grown into a man returned. The tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” the tree said. “I don’t have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, I don’t have a house, but you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy didn’t come back afterward. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” The tree said. “I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and didn’t come back for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after he had been gone for so many years. “Sorry, my boy, but I don’t have anything for you anymore. No more mangoes to give you.” The tree said. “I don’t have teeth to bite,” the man replied. “No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now,” the man said.

“I really can’t give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with sadness. “I don’t need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied. “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest. Come sit down with me and rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled.

Moral: The tree in the story represents our parents. When we are young, we love to play with them. When we grow up, we leave them and only come back when we need help. Parents sacrifice their lives for us. Never Forget their sacrifices. Give them Love and Care before its too late.”

You must read “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein, which is what this story was abridged from. It is really an adult book told them very childlike an easy to understand way.

Thank you for telling me the author of this Jennie.

Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate

I was trying to put into words the term for when you do something just because it is right but not because it EASY or THE STATUS QUO.  A fellow writer and blogger friend of mine called it “moral courage” the other day.

We are all connected on this big, water covered planet we call earth. There is only one of them, so if we mess it up or the people who inhabit it, we never have a chance to go back and fix it. Life on earth as we know it is a “one shot deal” so we better get it right the first time and quit living as though everything is expendable.

image

We have a throwaway society anymore and people and the apathy towards people in general has gone along with the trash we throw away. It shouldn’t be and I am not saying that all people are apathetic, because of course they are not. There are just many who could do far more than they do for others they meet in everyday life.

Once the water systems are polluted, what do we do?

image

Just these thoughts are good ones to ponder in terms of how we should be making sure there are no oil spills killing our fish and wildlife and ruining the water.

image

Human beings have a lot in common with the earth in that they are both mostly composed of water. Without it, all life ceases to be.

What about bombs and the warfare, chemical or otherwise? Since I was married to a rocket scientist and he was the master of logic and science; since we were married for fifteen years, I chose to take with me the best of what I learned and the best of our memories together. Why throw a bomb that will kill thousands of innocent women, children, and ruin the land around it, making it impossible to plant anything-just to wipe out that one “target”? It isn’t logical to me.

Why not find and train more people who speak the languages of the countries we are fighting right now, or at least have our military people in like Afghanistan and Syria?

Try something you haven’t tried before.

Success models are made up of prototypes that worked. Once you know the model, you can strive to create one that works as well or supersedes it.

How about our budget that the so-called great leaders in the United States of America have concocted?

Above wallpaper image from Zedge.

There has not been any trace of anyone from the two Bush’s to Reagan who has ever tried to come up with a budget that would start paying off the debt already incurred. Obama keeps spending and China owns more of America. It’s like a dirty American secret that nobody wants to take accountability for.

Will our next president of the United States make sure the priorities are in the right places? I certainly hope so, but rather than seeing human beings who invented great leadership skills, I see Trump as an overgrown brat who tragically never grew up. I see Clinton with major trust issues going in the office, after breaching national securiy. Wish you did with a lot more than just sharing emails! People lost lives because of those emails and that cannot be overstated.

I haven’t sat through one debate becauase it is not one by true definition.  A debate is where people are asked intelligent, hard-hitting questions and they answer them , and an intelligent  fashion .  Trump  and Clinton are good at insulting each other and name calling and badgering. I had little tolerance for badgering in elementary school and I have absolutely zero tolerance for that kind of behavior now.

Is there some kind of moral conduct and we can demand that of our presidential candidates?
It’s almost as though you need a referee make in a boxing match.

‘ve never seen a time in our political history where we’ve needed in an actual referee like it’s a boxing match verses to great minds talking about what they would each do. We never had that in the election from the get-go

I am not sure what kind of actual good they can accomplish, since they are not showing the best of who they are when that is exactly what they should be doing!

This is idiocy and being that I was born and raised in The United States and never want to see the day when China owns America.

What is going on is a vicious cycle of stupidity, borrowing on China’s credit and we are looking the fool in the eyes of other countries.

Before I get on a this one topic alone, that infuriates me at the stupidity and complete lack of responsibility on the parts of all who work for the government for not prioritizing paying the debt of the USA.

I hope I see the day when a budget is created and adhered to. I hope I see the day when we have a new president who has one known social security number, and stands for things that benefit Americans instead of big businesses.

I hope I see the day when you can get a job in America without having to know Vietnamese or Spanish, when it is America you are trying to get the job and not Vietnam or Mexico.

image

I hope I see the day when people try to be more kind and tolerant of each other’s differences.
Movie makers, producers and directors put positive and empowering messages out there instead coming up with a crime show give goofballs and psychos ideas to blow things up and kill people in movie theaters. Values can and could dictate our society, if we all wanted that badly enough.

I hope I see the day when our president realizes that every action has a chain reaction be it a bomb, something that is not needed that tax payer’s end up paying for. China is buying more of America up every day as the imaginary credit card is used.

They print up so much “play money” that I don’t think they understand in the real world, for you and I and everyone else, we all have to pay our debts. Why isn’t the White House and those who write the checks accountable as we are?

Breaking laws to fit personal agendas doesn’t make me proud of the current leadership. Can’t we as Americans demand to see how the money is spent? They are working for the American people and are supposed to be our ambassadors.

image

What are your major concerns for our country? What would you like to see happen in the next year in America?

Please Mr. President Obama, well you’re still president- open your eyes, wake up and be accountable for what you spend regarding our country.

Students arming Syrian terrorist and creating Isis why don’t you look at all the veterans who have no homes?

What did you think of raising the cost of living index for all people who are disabled on SSI and SSDI?

Why don’t you see that every American in every state can live in dignity and peace and have all their Corporal needs met before you think of taking money we don’t have and giving it to other countries?
NOW is a good time to create and adhere to a workable budget, not just hype.

Start caring and acting responsibly and care about America being owned my Americans and how we take care of it now is the gift we will hand down to our children.

Relaxing Background Guitar Music & How Creating An Inspiring Environment by Paulette Motzko

https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv1Yx3eFnEg&feature=share

I love this beautiful acoustic guitar play list.

If you are a creative person just like I am, the key is to find out to flowing inspiration is to know in an intimate way what environment helps you create the best in yourself.

Keep repeating it over and over again. What works for you will be different than anyone else.

Things that inspire me are…

Beautiful natural surroundings are beautiful places

The Pacific Ocean

Majestic mountains

Enchanted Forest’s

Inspiring workplaces that are conducive to concentration

Special music playlist and help bring out the best in your artwork. This could be writing, this could be photography, this could be cooking or painting or some other art form.

The special place that everytime you go there you meet someone extraordinary. I have several places like that and I don’t even question what happens I just know it happens. Will meet someone who is absolutely extraordinary every time I go to this certain location. If you pay attention you’ll find then you can maximize the positives in your world. Just pay attention and follow your instincts and usually always steered in the right direction.

And lastly I do a lot of meditation everyday I’m prayer and centering thought hoping to create something I feel give something back to the universe, and will last long after I touched the face of God.

It’s a learning curve when you’re a writer or a photographer or an artist it would never put you in the right frame of mind, and helps you create the best that is in your soul- then do it.

Watch “Jason Mraz – I Won’t Give Up [Official Music Video]” on YouTube

https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=O1-4u9W-bns&feature=share

I love this song and the video shows how you can triumph over adversity and you are the same no matter what. Also, it shows love can triumph over any set of circumstances.

Awesome job #Jason Mraz!

From one southern Californian to another who loves the palm tree studded Pacific Coast Highway.

I can’t wait to go back and see my friend’s and the beautiful beaches.

If you cannot be positive, then at least be quiet. Joel Osteen

Joel Osteen says: “If you cannot be positive, then at least be quiet.”

…and then, when you have thought about your situation,  and made sense about it with God and silence and self-introspection,  then open your mouth.

As my mother taught me from the time I was a small child – don’t say anything unless you can say something good. And if you’re giving someone criticism make sure it’s constructive because trying to lift people up and bring out the best in people. Everyone has problems they’re going through, they’ve had promised in their life and they’ve dealt with things that probably would shock you. Try and be the star in someone’s night sky and make people glad that they said hello to you.

The worst thing you can do is drag people down into your own mental rut.

Plastics To Outweigh Fish if We Don’t Change Our Habits & Recycle More!

I wish people would simply put trash in a trash can and look at the sea and the ocean and river’s and streams and think of it as our marine life’s home.

Water is also necessary for us to sustain life. By throwing trash and plastics and garbage in the sea, we are slowly but surely messing up one of our own most vital natural recourses for maintaining life on earth.

Spread the word to conserve and appreciate our oceans and to care about all life. Our ecosystems are interconnected with us.

If we have respect for all life  and  the Earth  will be able to enjoy a beautiful view like this for a long time.

Sharing Stellar Ideas Like  Monarch Butterflies Flying From My Hands to The World by Paulette L Motzko

This all began with me sharing a beautiful Chinese Proverb late in the day and having Jennie Fitzkee, who is a teacher, writer and blogger and wonderful human being comment on how wonderful it was can I share the proverb. See it said that through me  I made the proverb brand new again.

And I told her that I had never heard it before so for me it was brand new.

From there I tried to put into words what inspiration is to me. And,  for the first time I was able to actually define it in a way that accurately fits what I envision it to be.

I asked Jennie to email exactly what I wrote in my reply to her, and she did. Somehow when I replied to her on the WordPress Web platform,  my response was completely not visible to me, and they always are.

“Jennie, I had never heard it so for me it was sparkling brand new.  It is just so gratifying when I share something I know is meaningful here.  I have a photographic memory and am a visionary kind of person.  I picture me gently holding a monarch butterfly in my hand and seeing the beauty of it all…then letting it go free to shine it’s beautiful splendor on the world.  The audience of Totally Inspired Mind are like flowers in a garden, each unique in their own way, none more pretty than the next.

When I get an idea I think is along the lines of good or great or empowering, the idea transforms into that “butterfly” that I briefly hold in my hands, admiring it, only to let it go free in hopes it will touch other’s lives to spread joy to them too.

Jennie inspired me to write that, what I called on a new Board on Pinterest I created today called “Divine Inspiration”….

People can be a catalyst for incredible ideas and collaboration that would never have been had the two people met. I would have never believed that when I got the idea for Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate from a hotel room Huntington Beach after I realized I could no longer take care of my mother who had very acute Alzheimer’s disease. Mom required a 24 hour staff  instead of me. And the most liberating thing was realizing that and being blatantly honest with those realities.

I began focusing on only myself and putting myself number one, which was strange at first. I was giving everything I possessed as a human being with nothing coming back my way, and I had to quit before the flame was extinguished. The flame bein me.

Too many caregivers give so much of themselves there remains only a whisp of who they originally were before, with almost nothing left for themselves. That is all too common in the world.

I had the idea for this site but just never had a free moment to be able to think or concentrate on anything for longer than 5 minutes. I am not complaing, those were just the realities of helping my dear mother Ramona, now in heaven–I am glad I was there for here because she needed me, and this time’s with her are precious memories that will play back for all time with a smile on my face.

I wouldn’t ever have believed what began as my brain child where I could envision the greatest, most kind, big picture thinking people all getting together….and meeting one another….around a table set around the world.

It transformed from my vision to  a website to immediate skyrocket of passionate, Triple Winning people who instantly embraced my idea and loved it.

The amount of effort that I’ve expended into it has comeback a thousandfold. It transformed from a caterpillar of an idea and through a kind of time-lapse metamorphosis, became a living, breathing wonderful entity. ….a very human thing because it is composed of imput and comments from all if you-my fabulous readers!

Prayer For Our Nation

God our Father, Giver of life,
We entrust The United States of America to your loving care.

image

image

You are The Rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Reclaim this land For Your Glory and dwell among Your people.

Send your spirit to touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that that accompany human freedom.

Remind your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will.

Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, patroness of our land, grant us the courage to reject the culture of death.

Lead us into the New Millennium of life.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

My Mother is Dying But Her Spirit Lives Through Me

I was a caregiver for my sweet mother Ramona Lea Le Pore who on the last decade of her life was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

My sister in law contacted me to yell me mom has a tumor on her kidney and is now dying.
I knew the time would come when mom would leave this earth and touch the face of God, being reunited with dad in heaven, but I wasn’t prepared for so sudden of tragic news.

image

image

In my old kitchen drinking tea with mom after making dinner

image

As long as I am alive, mom’s name will be in the prefaces of the books I will write, and so many creative things my mother helped show me how to do by believing in me: piano playing, cooking, poetry, lyric writing and singing.

She was my cheerleader, my best friend, my confidant and encouraged my creativity. I miss hearing her voice and laughter.
She was the most appreciative person I ever knew or will know.
That’s why it was a joy to do anything for her like cook her favorite meal.

image

Mom and I in the 16 x 20 photo to the right on my desk last Christmas 2015.

Little would I know that the photo I created to immortalize a stellar moment in time would be the only vestige of my mother to keep me going. With no ability to make phone calls or talk to her the photo was and is all I have.

image

Mom and dad when dad was in The Air Force

image

I had been thinking of mom all week and just feeling something strange like an inner voice telling me mom might not have much longer to live. This morning I looked up at the 16 x 20 mural I had made of mom and I happy in Huntington Beach, CA and am happy I immortalized the moment.

image

Mom sitting across from me happy on a beautiful southern California day at Ruby’s Diner.

image

Mom from the time I was 4 years old read to me and taught me phonetics, opening my eyes to wider worlds. She was a visionary before that word was popular.

image

Mom taught me to see the beauty in the simple pleasures of life….in flowers, nature and taught me to cherish people and take care of the things you own-and in that order of priority.

Mom loved being useful and when she cared about you, she would go to the ends of the earth to make you happy. If you complimented something she might give it to you!

image

image

image

The photo I took from the wall that was cut from a 16 x 20 that survived a fire. Much like my mother, the photo was resilient and a survivor.

This photo that’s on my upright grand piano and a crucifix that belonged to Nanny my grandmother are all I took when I was told “take what you want from mom’s stuff.”

Mom was alive but with Alzheimer’s disease and if she didn’t put it in my hand I wasn’t going to take it. I wanted to be remembered for what I gave her instead of what I took from her.

Hearing the birds singing their morning song at 4:46 a.m. I am going to wrap this up by saying hug those around you who you care about. Live life so you have no regrets and give more than you take. I sincerely tried to do just that with my mother but I will miss her terribly. Her smile was like the sun to me.

Please pray for my mother and family and I. Thank you.

Larissa Martinez in her Valedictorian in Graduation Speech: I’m Undocumented

Valedictorian Larissa Martinez said in her graduation speech: “I’m undocumented”

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/10/us/texas-undocumented-valedictorian-trnd/index.html

You have to read what this very brave young lady said as Valedictorian at her graduation. Her courageous speech surprised everyone, and she was bright in saving her secret for a “punch line “at the end of her speech.

America was founded on the principles that all people have the same rights.

She made a factual statement about Trump, about “his wall built on hatred”… and I give her a standing ovation for that one.

I personally feel Trump should be thrown out of the political race based on his racist, anti-American view points and his repeat, tasteless racial generalizations.

I cannot believe how easily and quickly I made friends with Larissa Martinez on Facebook after searching for her.

We talked back and forth using the Instant messaging app and over 80,000 were searching to find her or talking about her there.

I wrote this on her profile page, and I’m pleased with the words I wrote so I share it with you here.

“CONGRATULATIONS for your excellence in your academics and also in your bravery to stand up and disclose that our immigration system I’d broken and also about saying that Trump us building a walk out of hatred. You are so astute and you are going to go far in this world. You already have! I am so happy we became friends so quickly here. If you should ever want to make your opinions heard on a wide scale, my blog Totally Inspired Mind has a wide readership, and you can send me your story and I will air it to 100 countries. I have a loudspeaker to the world.

God bless you Larissa Martinez. You are one extraordinary young lady!

I am happy I tuned on to CNN this morning and read your story!”-

Surround yourself with beautiful things, an appreciation for the arts and genuine people with integrity with beautiful souls. – P.L. Motzko

image

Surround yourself with beautiful things, intelligent  people with Integrity who have beautiful souls, an appreciation of art, music, classic literature, the culinary arts , interesting people, exploring new and unique places….

…. and you’ll never be bored as long as you live.

You’ll stay young forever because you’re always regenerating and charging your battery, empowering your soul….along with your smartphone!

Make sure you take time out to unplug yourself from your technical devices and take off those ear buds and really listen to the chirping birds singing outside your window and hear your nice neighbor talking to you saying hello.

Along with the music you listen to on earphones you’re also tuning out all kinds of beautiful ambient sounds of living…including people. Always remember that.

There is a time for all things, and music is wonderful but allow yourself the quality time to hold a conversation with interesting people too. That way you won’t become a robot with no interpersonal communication skills.

Remember, that before computers there were people!

On the Believe Life channel on YouTube I listen to every day I take notes on what the speakers say highlighting keypoints I can apply in my life or quotes I can share. Recently one of the speakers mentioned every day writing 40 “I AM…..” affirmations where you fill in the blanks as to what word best describes you and tells what you are about, if you were to describe yourself to someone who didn’t know you.

I will alter what the speaker said to include up to a ten word description of yourself, after the words I AM…..

Try it.

As you read to the end of this sentence, write a few words that best describes you. Finish the sentence “I am”……

I I’ve been adding to this list all day until finally I got 40 different statements about who I am, what I value, and what I believe in.

Now it’s your turn too right 40 different descriptive short phrases that end the sentence I AM.

I didn’t get her name-( because I have my Galaxy Note 4 plugged into Bluetooth speaker and I’m usually listening to the believe Life channel on doing something else listening and I don’t necessarily see the captions into the speakers that are that are announced on it but it allows me to do things that otherwise would have been boring or I might put up and then I can listen to it while I’m doing before you know it the tour gets done or the thing gets done but I can be empowered while I’m doing it patterns mundane things throughout the day or travel time into something that’s empowering. But I will go back and try to find out who the person was that said this. She said to everyday write down 40 things that you.)

I ask you my extraordinary followers to also describe in one word What You Are.

You can add as many one word positive descriptions as you like but have them be positive. Give some thought on this and pick words that you think about who you are and what your about.

Trump The Racist is a Walking Ball of Hatred by Paulette L Motzko

image

One of my many black friends on Facebook (Elder Israel Odulana)just posted this news clipping which outraged me.  This is the last straw in racial bigoted generalizations Trump has made. He has castigated the Mexican Community, the Middle Eastern Community and the Black Community.  Who’s left?

If you value the freedom that our great country and States of America was based on- and our soldiers fought for don’t vote for Trump.

If you value the freedoms that we have in the United States of America and equal rights for all people don’t vote for Trump.

Writers are powerful people they can change minds, and ENLIGHTEN OTHERS and EDUCATE and I hope to do that with this piece.

If Trump hates the Mexican community and thinks they’re all drug lords and criminals, and if he hates the Middle Eastern people and if he wants to ban them practicing their faith, and if he thinks black people are lazy, my question is:

Mr. Trump who do you LIKE?
Only white bigots?

I grew up in the sixties and I couldn’t understand the hatred that racism was based on.

Donald Trump is a walking ball of hatred for about every single nationality there is. The blanket generalizations he’s made on numerous occasions are only the beginning of how he would destroy what the USA stands for-freedom & equality.

I saw black people being forced to drink out of separate water fountains and it was shocking to me then when I was 9 years old in the 60’s. I have tons of black friends, tons of Mexican friends, Cuban friends, Filipino friends, and I treat everybody the same- as it should be.

Thank God for the civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr and Cesar Chavez who made great leaps for equality in the United States of America.

Trump is like a disease who would bring forth only negativity to the USA, promoting racism, and unfair practices. He would destroy the progress that our great country has made from an equal rights standpoint.

I’m so happy that we’ve evolved so much since the mid 60’s. Trump would make us go back in time and promote hatred and inequality.

Trump likes only white rich people obviously, because he’s put down about every other nationality there is. What’s left? I was married to a rocket scientist for 15 years so when you eat out about every nationality there is what’s left white people is that we want white English-speaking people United States? That’s what Trump wants, he wants to put a bridge in to separate us.

Only white, arrogant, republican, rich people who wear power suits?

This is something for all of you Trumpsters to think about.

Do you want to live in the United States where the Statue of Liberty is thrown into the sea and we don’t welcome people from other countries anymore?

I don’t.

SHARE MY MESSAGE HERE  with your friends if you agree.

Thank you.

I’m going to post this on two of my blogs- Totally Inspired Mind that is read by 100 countries now after 5 years and The Political Think Tank.

“Warren Buffett’s Top 10 Rules For Success” & Paulette Motzko’s Advice

Warren Buffett’s  advice for living is fantastic. He has many short and sweet pointers they can become guiding principles  if you allow them to be.

I was listening to this YouTube video when I was in the kitchen doing things one of the key points I picked up was “what people look for” is people who are energetic and smart and the other component in finding people to work with and also as friends is integrity. Also passion and enthusiasm they’re really high on the list too.

That’s my personal guiding principle in life, kind of like the DNA of my system.

If the people I associate with don’t have integrity I don’t associate with them- it’s that simple.
I’m very selective on who I hang with because I don’t want to be like those with undesirable qualities, or pick up any of their bad habits.

My mom taught me early on that “who you associate with is who you become”, well to a large extent that’s true.

I would encourage you to be around people who believe in your dreams and who help you achieve your dreams that’s my advice.

“Jim Carrey’s Top 10 Rules For Success” & P. Motzko’s Commentary-From Vision to Living The Dream

” Jim Carrey is a Visionary and uses very empowering visualisations to have propelled himself from being homeless – but with very detailed dreams and goals of what he wanted his life to be- to living his dreams and a success story.

He now speaks in front of large groups of people at universities giving them advice on how to live, and telling them what he’s learned.
After you finish speaking he makes people feel like they can do anything- and with the right mindset you can.

You know you’re a leader and you know you’re doing something right when you can show others new ways of thinking and show them that they possessed inside what they sought all along.

I know as a piano teacher, I know a student will do well just because they have music inside their soul; it’s like its hard-wired in their system. I already know the students going to be successful before I even start teaching them.

Gifted Hands by Ben Carson- The Ben Carson Story:Read This Book!

image

I bought this book 2 weeks after Christmas last year. It was on the best-seller rack at Barnes and Noble in Summerlin. What an extraordinary person Ben Carson is! Of all the people running for the Office of the President of the USA, I wish he had won. Extraordinary things would have happened, had he been in a position to change things for us all.
He would have made choices that benefited everybody.

From the back of the book:

“Ben Carson is a professor of neurosurgery, plastic surgery, oncology and Pediatrics, and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins medical institutions. He’s also the author of other best-selling books – think big, and the big picture. He serves on the corporate Boards of the Kellogg Company, Costco Wholesale Corp., and America’s promise, among others, and is an Emeritus fellow of the Yale Corporation. He and his wife, candy, are the parents of three grown sons and live in Baltimore County, Maryland.”

“5 Ways to Improve your COMMUNICATION Skills – #BelieveLife” on YouTube with Commentary by Paulette L Motzko, Totally Inspired Mind

What an awesome 25 minute video from the Believe channel by Evan Carmichael.

The first presenter speaks of the key points of communication and he uses an acronym “HAIL” which stands for Honesty, Authenticity , Integrity and Love.

Very well done! Those are huge things I value in life. ALL THE PEOPLE I ASSOCIATE WITH MUST possess those qualities. That is a prerequisite with me.
If they do not, I simply don’t associate with them.

Life is too short to hang with crows or buzzards when you can soar with the eagles instead.

After YOU ARE 18 years old, you have the right to choose who you associate with.

If your family member is malicious or doesn’t have your best interest in mind, or is just psychologically messed up and causes havoc in your life– you simply don’t need to be around them.

I have a few family members like that. You can’t exchange family members like a bad poker hand, but you can simply walk away from the game and let them play by themselves.

When I was about 6 years old I remember mom saying ” who you are around is what you become.”
So, when looked at things in that context, becomes very easy to weed people out of your life and be more selective.

For instance, when I used to do gardening in my last house in Orange before my divorce, I remember putting this stuff called Preen my flower box with the geraniums, gladiolus, daffodils and Lily of the Nile. It helped to prevent weeds. Yes prevent them. It made it so I didn’t have to sit there breaking my back tending the soil the next day. Even though the stuff cost a fair amount of money, all I had to do was put it on once a month and it saved me work.

Bad people are like weeds and they can infiltrate your life with snuggled edges, and pollute your mind with bad thoughts, colorful language that you really shouldn’t be using, because when you’re around someone that does something over and over again it tends to rub off on you.

If you set high standards in your life and associate with flowers who help you bloom too, the garden called your life will always bloom.

If you compare bad people to weeds- people who possess the opposite of the qualities outlined in the acronym HAIL, it becomes very easy to not let them take over your pretty flower garden… otherwise known as your world. Your life, like a flower garden, blooms in direct proportion to what you plant.

Let every one of the people in your life bloom on their own. People who share a common denometer with you, naturally help you bloom to the most of your ability…because they are blooming themselves and are happy with where they are in life. Conversely, people who aren’t happy in life, and who only bring negative things to the forefront, are people who will usually try to drag you down to their low existence.

Don’t let them do it.

The most important things to me are honesty, integrity, tactfulness, of course- because you don’t just want to say anything that comes to your mind in the sake of being honest to somebody.

All these things put together build your reputation. Your reputation is what you’re going to leave when you’re not here anymore and that’s what people will remember most about you.

It’s not how many cars you have in the driveway, it’s not how fancy your Gucci bag is, but simply how you treat other people and how you made them feel when they were around you.

Those things form who you become in life and who people know you to be.

That really is what matters to me in life. I hope you enjoy this YouTube video I’ve got to find out how to reach Evan Carmichael that does all of these extraordinary “Believe” YouTube videos because they are the best I’ve ever seen.

You have my Paulette Le Pore Motzko Seal of Approval on that Mr Evan Carmichael.

I’ve would love to meet Evan Carmichael one day and congratulate him on an outstanding collection of YouTube videos.

I don’t know how he does it but the finish product is pretty extraordinary.

With my blog Totally Inspired Mind I wanted to contribute something extraordinary and put it out of the universe and then get other like-minded people to join it. It started with a vision and then it became reality in a few hours when I created the blog in a hotel room. Now five years later about a hundred countries read this and now I am going to monetizing it. Currently my payment is sharing what I feel us quality content that is remembered and shared.
I aspire to communicate using the HAIL principles outlined in this YouTube video of honesty, authenticity, integrity and love always.

Google Talk The Global Translation Chat App & & Paulette Motzko’s Thrill of Discovery

I learn many things new through the course of my day everyday. I have always had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, even since I was a small child at 4 years old, learning to read, and then learning phonetics. I learned the meanings of the prefixes and suffixes when I was 6 years old.
I learned the value of a book and the extraordinary concepts within each cover, and libraries became one of my favorite places, and still are.

image

Hot off the press I just created this image to go with this story from a photo I took in Vista, CA about three years ago now.

Photography & Digital Arts by Paulette Motzko

There was never a dumb question around our house and every night around the kitchen table, before we would eat dinner we would bless the food, thank God for everything we had, and look at each other and thank God we had each other. How I wish it was that way today. But people change and so you change with it.

My dad would ask everyone what we learned that day. He would go one by one, and ask each one of us who’s the most extraordinary thing we learned that day. If we didn’t learn anything he would say “go pick up a book” or “how are you doing in school” and things like that.

Every night at dinner time we would sit around our table and we would share what we had learned that day.

Yes, how I wish life was like a projector that you could go back in time and make my siblings remember when they had a heart and soul, but that’s not how life works. Change is the only thing we can count on and those who adapt the best do the best.

Yes, we sat around with a painted picnic table that was painted by my mother and communicated with each other, laughed, my brothers told jokes, and we were there in the moment.

Our family couldn’t afford a kitchen table like the kind they sold in a furniture store, but being the industrious people that the Le Pores are, my dad bought a picnic table that my mother painted white.

As always mom had this way of creating something out of nothing, and when she was done, the table was painted and varnished and had a really pretty flower arrangement on the top of it.

She then bought some yellow gingham sheets that she found on sale, and transformed them into beautiful drapes for our huge kitchen windows.

25 years later, after my parents sold that first house they bought for a mere $20,000 and sold it for $100,000 years later, those drapes are still there. People did not want to take them down and loved them and bragged about how beautiful they were. It was my secret, that they’ll never know they were made out of sheets.

These remain to this day some of the most Stellar memories I have of my childhood.

My Nanny always told us a family who prays together stays together. It’s something she swore by. It was imprinted on the Rosary she prayed on everyday that glowed in the dark. Her words to this day have lit some of my darkest days much like her rosary beads glowed up in the dark as she prayed Hail Marys.

image

We prayed together then and stood by each other. It’s just too bad, my older siblings sold their integrity getting the profits of my parent’s huge duplex, after my dad’s death. My brother in law was like Hitler as power of attorney and and my siblings fell for his half cocked, uncompassionate and unfair treatment of both myself and my mother with Alzheimer’s disease. I was the only one who looked out for her it seemed and spoke for her with a voice she no longer possessed.

image

We could see each other, side by side, and when my dad made money selling major appliances and the table went outside…we sat farther apart. Then the house began to be filled with state of the art TV’s and a huge stereo. The television was on more and we talked less.

I saw this big solid maple, fancy kitchen table being delivered with big clunky, heavy chairs I couldn’t lift, and we sat apart from each other. I liked the picnic table better.

image

Necessity creates innovation and ingenuity. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life are some of the poorest. They know how to do it, that they know how to be industrious, and they know as I’ve learned, to do without and make do with what they had.
They have more compassion for others in the same situation.

Back to reading and knowledge..

Mom read it to me everyday, and my sister bought me Golden Books that I read, each one of them looking at the pictures and being immersed in the stories, sounding out the words.

If I didn’t know what the words were, we all played a game where I would figure out what the word meant by taking the prefixes and saying what it meant. Most of time I would get it right with a little fine-tuning. That would add to my vocabulary everyday.

When I knew how easy it was and the extraordinary potential that a person would possess if they could read, assimilate and have the command of the English language, the world was my Pearl.

Like Helen Keller having Anne Sullivan spelling out the word
w-a-t-e-r in her hand in sign language, she knew everything had a meaning.

Mom was my Anne Sullivan, especially as an unpopular kid recently diagnosed at 9 with epilepsy. There was no such word as bullying in school; kids just did it and nobody cared or did anything. Apathy to the max in the school systems.

9 WAS A PIVOTAL AGE FOR ME. LIFE DEALT ME ONE CURSE EPILEPSY BUT IT ALSO BROUGHT A PIANO IN THE HOUSE AND MUSIC, THEN MY LOVE OF COOKING EMERGED AND WRITING WAS SOON TO FOLLOW. IF GOD WAS A CARD DEALER THE DECK WAS STACKED IN MY FAVOR AT A VERY YOUNG AGE.
I just took until I’m almost 55 just see it that way.

image

Paulette Anne Le Pore at 9 playing a song I composed called “My Melody” after mom showed me 4 chords and Nanny explained how the pedals worked……

In 3rd grade at Show and Tell I Showed and demonstrated to my class what the piano did by playing all the songs I wrote. Bringing in bullfrog were boring to me!

Every thing ever built or ever created has a name. The more we understand what those things are the more we can understand our place in the world. Also, the more languages that we speak the more than we can understand others and their cultures and find a common denominator within the two.

As in most days I don’t quite ever know what I’m writing but I never worry about it; I just write.

People who put on the editors cap and are over critical too early in the creative process or worry about what other people think of what they do– never do anything because the creative process is squelched.

Create because you think it has merit, or you think it’s beautiful. It doesn’t matter that the world doesn’t think it’s beautiful or does think its extraordinary. Create it because you feel your artwork is in the very essence of your soul waiting to escape like a butterfly in a meadow and you want to share the reverie with others…and the people in the world are the flowers in the field.

image

image

you know it is that’s why are you think I can help somebody or you feel it’s good. And once you create something you throw it out in the universe and you hope it touches the lives of people and inspires them or shows them a new way. When it does then it’s extraordinary because then it’s a triple win. It’s the people whose viewpoint on what you do make what you write and every word you hand chisel come alive.

When I was a small child I held a book in my hand with a feeling as though I had the whole world in the palm of my hand. I also knew there was so much more available to me and I was just touching a small microcosmic particle of the knowledge available in the World.

Now have a century later, with me at 54 years young, I hold my Galaxy Note 4 phablet with over 100 apps on it, ebooks, over 5,000 high definition photos, and programs I used to have on a clunky big computer that I recently sold. I installed Microsoft Office and MS Word, allowing me to create documents with vocal recognition software for the first time in my life.

You’re talking about a person who types eighty words a minute but can now type with this new technology. My phablet types for me and I edit. History breaking stuff. Pretty cool, huh?

Thanks to engineers, and IT specialist and computer scientists who created the internet systems with satellites in the sky like my ex-husband the rocket scientist help put up with Boeing, we can do things that we never ever thought possible.

I’m old enough and I’ve seen both sides and it is all pretty extraordinary.

I have had this Google Talk app on my phone for better part of a year and I didn’t know that it was a translating device that I could talk to people in their native language in any part of the world for free.

Now that’s a huge piece of info because I have over 800 friends on Facebook and many of them were in Italy, Thailand and the Philippines and Africa. I can learn their language by using it and that’s what’s so extraordinary about it. It comes in handy for business as well.

I can learn figures of speech in in their language, adding color to my writing. This matters to me. I have some baker friends who are artisan bakers in France and I would love to know and understand more of the French language and the pronunciation of how the words sound. Google Talk helps with that.

I hope that this article made you look at the world little differently. If it did, that makes me really happy and that is the coolest thing in the world.

When you change someone’s mind or you Enlighten them to a new fact that they didn’t know,
You’re in essence opening a magic door to new horizons that were unexplored before. I hope you can use some of this in your life, that you find new ways of thinking brings subtle changes in your life.

Maybe it’s raining in your life with problems now, or maybe it’s literally raining like it is here in Las Vegas, NV.

No matter what, figurative or literal, the sun’s rays will be awaiting you on the other side of the storm.

Know you are never alone and as you journey through life God is walking by your side like your Mighty Partner.

The storm clouds will eventually lift and the sun will peer through the clouds again.

Listen to “Your Invisible Power” by GENEVIEVE BEHREND on Librivox

http://librivox.bookdesign.biz/book/6569

I just finished all 17 chapters of Your Invisible Power, and all the reviews of this book were outstanding.

I want to suggest reading it in installments because most chapters aren’t very long.

If you take the bus, like I do, you can listen to chapters while you’re in transport with a headset. That would turn an otherwise boring and arduous commute into something truly interesting.

If you’re driving you can listen to it on the speaker on your smartphone or iPod, iPad or whatever you kind of device you have.

Periodically listen to the last chapter; it only takes about four minutes to listen to. It will periodically give yourself a self-assessment of how well you’re filling your life’s purpose.

You can listen to most chapters while you do chores at home, while you do dishes like I did, and have the sound going through a Bluetooth speaker. Take a task you have been avoiding and listen to a fabulous book at the same time. Librivox has countless free titles to choose from that are in the public domain, and other greatly discounted audio books for sale too.

Most anything you do in life you can turn into something extraordinary if you really want to- you have to want to.

Have a phenomenal day and great weekend.

Prayer is not the overcoming of God’s reluctance, but the taking hold of God’s willingness. Phillip Brooks

This is on the inside cover of a book that I carry around with me every day and say certain portions of it that I’ve marked with a Post-It notes called “Handle with Prayer” by Alan Cohen.

image

I found my copy for a dollar fifty at a book sale in a Friends of The Library sale in southern California, with coffee stains all over the cover and scribbles on the inside, but I didn’t care. I could see the merit of the wonderful book without even reading it. One’s trash is another treasure.

image

The cover was beat up and damaged so I covered it with cat stickers because if I ever had a pet again it would be a cat. The stickers give me joy, make the cover look a little better and strike up conversations from passers by who see me reading it.

It’s published by Hay House Publishers.

I recommend it to anybody.

It’s a fantastic book then we’ll have you thinking in more positive ways and transforming your ideas about prayer, God, what you can do and accomplish and a host of other things.

Alan Cohen has written I believe over 20 books.

http://www.HayHouse.com

The ISBN number on this book handle with prayer is:

ISBN 1 – 56170 – 467 – 9 hardcover

This book is classified as prayer and self-realization and religious aspects.

My strength did not come from lifting weights…..

My strength did not come from lifting weights. My strength came from lifting myself up and I was knocked down.

This is my favorite one of the year end of last year because that’s exactly what I did in my life over the last year.
It has been, and will continue to be probably my most positively transformative year in my life. It has also been one of the most exhausting physically.

Mom and I are and always will be together in spirit, though now she’s a few hour’s away.

Mom at age 16……

I must look a million times a day for inspiration and insight here.

Quote of the Day From Sasha Sagan, Carl Sagan’s Daughter

This is part of an extraordinary essay written by Sasha Sagan, Carl Sagan’s daughter. In her very eloquent, extraordinary writing her brilliant parents passed on their intelligence to her as an everlasting gift.
She sees the world as I do- which is we are all connected on this planet, and what counts is the present, because that is all we are guaranteed. The more we work together to sustain THE EARTH, and preserve the oceans and allow it to flourish. . .instead of destroying it…the better we all will be….now and in the future.

Everyone Has a Story To Tell – Make Your Story An Extraordinary One by Paulette L. Motzko

We All Have Our Story to Tell

In life we never know what we are getting and what kinds of blessings or tragedies may befall. You can only stack the deck in your favor so when the hand is played you come close to winning.

If every one of you reading this sentence could realize that nobody on earth was dealt a perfect life, then maybe you won’t feel so isolated or sad, just knowing you are not the only one. Everybody on the bus every day I see has their own joys, family, friends and struggles. Just because you don’t know them, don’t fool yourself. Problems in life don’t omit anyone, no matter how much money you make. Often the richest people have the most screwed up lives. They have no idea what to do with all their money and have lost the ability to enjoy simple things. They spend their lives trying new drugs and paying for expensive thrills that leave them flat and uninspired.

As a child who was disabled and went through a merry-go-round-of medicine for epilepsy before I got to the one that worked when I was fourteen-years-old.

I learned big words and related to teachers better than my classmates who made fun of me because I was different. All the things I went through in my early years toughened me up to be a soldier of life and an ambassador of compassion and good will who can related to everyone with a cane, in a wheelchair and who strives each day to know health firsthand and independence.

Even though in life you may have looked at hell in the eye like I did and been through moments where you nearly died; remember you made it out the other end.

A visualization to picture your mind that I created after going through one of the worst year and a half of my life is:

I can see myself walking through a huge hoop of fire and coming out the other end transformed, stronger, and smarter and where ingenuity is in my DNA. After helping my parents pay their house payment thrown the span of 15 years and being betrayed by my siblings I grew up with; it redefined my existence.

We were once a good family, not a perfect family, but we were never an apathetic, hate filled family. There was so much negative dynamics going on between my older siblings and that no matter if my mother needed help, if I could have done over again, I would have looked out for number one and that is all, and got the hell out of there. I can see that in retrospect and wish I would done that, but if I had mom wouldn’t have anyone who gave a damn and she wouldn’t be in the senior home she is now.

The things you learn in life gaining wisdom are vast.

What have you learned in life?

Are there lessons you can pass on to others?

What is a lesson you learned that you can pass on to another to make their path smoother, watching out for rocks and boulders?

You see, when you do without you learn to compromise. You learn how to substitute and you truly get to know what it is like to live on a bargain basement existence that only those who frequent places like The 99 Cents Store, Dollar General remembering numerous times since moving to Nevada and having my SSI cut by $150 a month-times when I couldn’t afford anything in the dollar store!

What I do know out of the tragic and almost mind boggling callous and low class way I was treated in the end of making great sacrifices for my mom and financially helping my dad by living on the duplex he was still making payments on after 2001. I learned that there are people who look like a human being but are missing a soul and a conscious; my siblings fit that description. I only hope that they regret it one day. I know I did the best I could in spite of going through adversity myself. In other words, we are only responsible for ourselves and there comes a point where all the talking in the world isn’t going to change things.

image

Move on. Look back and accept what you did and embrace the choices you made.

Just because you were betrayed doesn’t mean you have betray someone else. Just because you were hit, doesn’t mean you have to hit someone else. Someone else’s cold heart doesn’t have to be yours and shouldn’t be yours.

Why the Lord allows good people to go through hell none of us will know, especially when their hearts and souls are good.

In life what matters most is for you to not focus on the dark aspects or “shadows” in your life. Look at the “bright spots” that sparkle like Orion on a clear night in the desert. Keep the friends who have become family; they are your new family.

image

Just because you are related to someone doesn’t give them the right to be in your life. To have the right someone has to treat you with dignity and respect. If those elements are missing, then you really don’t need the person in your life.

Remember, every negative person drags you down. Every positive person lifts you and your spirits up.
You want to be dragged down to the nether world, or do you want to keep people around you who also set their aspirations on high and noble things. Forget the rest.
I pray to meet people who are kind, caring, compassionate who care about the world around them and who care about children, the environment and the world issues.
Here is a cool visual for you: I also pray to NOT MEET negative, pessimistic people and to avoid or REPEL people with rotten intentions people just like water droplets on Vaseline.
What story will you retell people?

Will it be a triumphant one? A Courageous One? An Extraordinary One?

Make the things you say be as amazing as yourself, because the spoken word is what people will remember about you.

Do you want to be a mina bird of the same, sad story or do you want to force yourself to grow, find the wisdom in your pain and to help people they are not alone.

If pain and suffering has to be, let it be transformed to bring someone up from their aloneness.
I hope this 1,534 word story does just that. Come out of your cave and light the light and let it shine on only the good and the great. No matter what your faith, don’t lose hope and never quit believing the good and just win. And even if they don’t “win” they show everybody in the world how they can! After all, people are only winners or losers in their minds. What you think you are you will be.
I hope every word changes your minds, and transforms your spirit and helps you think about the experiences you have gone through and how you carry them around.
Troubles can be on your shoulders like lead weights or you can problem solve, pray and meditate and gain insight. To do that you need solitude and uninterrupted time so you can think. When was the last time you gave yourself that gift? It is through self-introspection that you grow and transform into something greater.
Learn to journal and write every day your innermost feelings. At first at will feel awkward doing it, but it will come more naturally with time. In time you will look forward to it. Make it a minimum of 30 minutes. Go to a library where you can be guaranteed to not be bothered and where it is quiet enough you can hear yourself think. Preferably have nobody see it but you and God and your soul.
In your first journal book entry: make a list of all the things you are thankful for this moment.
Now make a list of things you need to work on to be happier and feel better.
Number them and create a plan of action.
Make the most of what you have now. If you want more, work for it all and enjoy what you have NOW. This time will never come again. When you are 85 ladies you will think you look like pretty hot now! Hey guys, tell your mom and dad you love them, they won’t be around forever. I am reminded that our time on this extraordinary earth is limited. Make the most of your travels here.

It is only then that you can take what were problems and setbacks and throw them in the sea and watch the seagulls take them away to the wild blue.
Put some beautiful and inspiring music on iheart.com radio or Pandora.com and get in touch with who you really are. When you do that, you will find you have way more going for you but you just overlooked what you were given.

Written with love to the world.

Wonder by R.J. Palacios

20140413-201756.jpg

I was browsing the bestsellers at Barnes & Noble… (One of my favorite past times).

I spotted “Wonder” by R.j. Palacio’s award winning first attempt at a fiction novel, which turned out to be fabulous. The more I read about what the book is about, the more I wanted to read.

It is a story of courage about a young boy with a facial deformity who longs to be treated like the other kids and who longs to be accepted for who he is inside.

I Am My Mother Ramona Le Pore’s Voice & Paulette’s Motzko’s Tragic Story

http://paper.li/PollyMotzko/1356862348?edition_id=79a41550-3e27-11e3-8178-00259071bfec&utm_campaign=paper_sub&utm_medium=email&utm_source=subscription

Check out the latest issue of Ramona’s Alzheimer’s Disease Daily, if you haven’t looked at prior issued, this one has 16 contributors!

Prevention is key here with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Always stay involved with things you love, learning, becoming and growing as a person. I speak from experience and watched my dad slowly die because he refused to get involved with social interaction activities that would have helped him cope with the congestive heart failure and severe, crippling osteoarthriris that would end up nearly totally paralyzing him! He will be gone a little over a year now and mom-Ramona- is 82 and is responsible for my existence and me accomplishing all I have in my life.

I want to have the “Use it or lose it” mentality my Nanny had, who lived with us when I was a child. She was my dad’s mother and also had both rhematoid arthritis and osteoarthriris. I suggest we all adopt the “use it or lose it” way of thinking and apply it to staying lucid, strong mentally and not letting our minds and lives become mush sitting around a television set, (which is the worst thing a senior citizen can do with himself or herself!!!) It uses nothing upstairs and is a passive activity.

If they are in a senior home, as dad was in the saddest last year of his life, he at least was watching a nice movie on a plasma TV with 20 people, which gave him friends to associate with…also in wheelchairs.

It is important that if your loved one is severely crippled to get them out and about involved with activities they enjoy. If they need counseling to accept their imposed limitations and boundaries of being confined to a wheelchair, then by all means get them to a qualified professional.

ATTITUDE is everything, and as a persion who has been diagnosed with complex partial and simple partial epilepsy since I was 9 years old, I know what boundaries and limits are.
The trick is to adapt to live in spite of them.

image

Dad and Mom at Mike & Kathy’s wedding…my brother and sister-in-law….when dad had legs and could walk and was happy. Mom before she took care of dad didn’t have the stress she did dealing with dad’s health problems later in their marriage. God bless them both for they gave me life, encouragement, love, taught me right from wrong and taught me the meaning of honesty and integrity.

image

image

This is a bit longer than what I thought I would write, but I am pleased with this.

If I help someone in the world with a parent with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, then it was worth writing it.

Also, contact your local Alzheimer’s Association. Tune in to every resource and program they have. I volunteered my time for them when I was married years ago and used to walk to their office, getting materials for my mother and I for her mother who also had Alzheimer’s disease. I prayed mom wouldn’t aquire it, but as in many things in my life, God didn’t see fit to answer my prayer but give me something else instead.

image

Mom (Ramona Lea) when she was 16 years old

image

I pray my mother always recognizes me and knows who I am as long as we both live. I want her to see my books when they’re printed and I miss our talks and tea parties and the many dinners I cooked for her during the 13 years I chose to live in the duplex, nearly paying my parent’s mortgage. The property was sold recently by my brother-in-law in June 2013. I need a great, hard hitting lawyer that deals with property and senior/elder abuse in Orange County, CA. The attorney can bill my sister and Mike Bunker-who evicted me and abducted mom from her own house with no note, destroyed my parent’s belongings and I have photos on this.

I look forward to seeing mom soon and looking into her emerald green eyes, giving her a big hug and telling her the news over the last year. Just seeing her smile is enough to make the sun come out on a rainy day.

I want peace of mind. I just want to know that while everyone was going through mom’s things having a field day, I took one picture of her and a crucifix that belonged to Nanny. Mom was alive and unless she physically gave me her things it wasn’t right.

I called the Garden Grove police dept when they were hauling her stuff in a trash dumpster but they did nothing, the same as the Riverside Adult Protective Services. We need to change the Power of Attorney laws in CA. Mom didn’t know what she was signing and my dad had no right to sign for her.

Mom and dad’s $1000 leather Lazy Boy chairs someone hacked up with an ax so the trash man would take them! After all it wasn’t Bunker’s or my siblings…they didn’t care. I am the one kid that stands for principles. It was my mother’s who was alive and is alive now and that was hers. If her property or possessions needed to be liquidated, there is an appropriate way to liquidate something, (which I could have done and gotten top dollar and given the proceeds to my mother), and there is a way you do not do things. They all chose unwisely.

That was where I chose to live after my divorce to the rocket scientist I was married to for 15 years. Mind you, I could have bought a house with cash, but chose to help the folks out, pay their house payment, basically, and I saw it as a good thing at the time. I would have never believed it would become the house of horrors with continual drama from people visiting my folks or paramedics and ambulences coming to get my dad every other day.

People turn right down ugly when you dangle money on a string. Mike Bunker was given debit cards, bank cards, social security numbers by my father who trusted him. He ended up TRASHING THINGS that were NOT TRASH, including the mismanagement of my dad’s care when he was overseeing it.

I did what was right and what was needed, not what was easy or cheap. I can like myself and I should…lots of others do as well. I have no regrets when I look back, but I know they will one day when someone who is not me-points out how stupid they all were and lazy and callous. I guess INHUMANE sums it up in a nutshell.

I bought the song “Stronger” on my iPod yesterday and I must say the words are me. It is as though I wrote it.

I think I might have PTSD but I hope I don’t. Regular income that meets all my needs with no more counting pennies or sacrificing anything. I feel like I sacrificed myself for years and now I want to just LIVE.

I am not sure how this reads to someone else, but I feel better after writing it. I am not depressed but optimistic.
I am going to send the link to this story to Oprah Winfrey. I think she would care about my story.

Paulette Motzko at age 52 in Orange County, CA where she has been living most of her life and where she’d like to keep living. I need either a HUD Housing Voucher to stay though, or another kind of subsidized housing program for disabled people. My disability is invisible (as are most disabilities). Epilepsy is a developmental disability which is classified as a neurological disorder and mine is treated with two very expensive medicines that work.

I have sent multiple faxes and letters to the director of the Urban Housing Authority and Housing Authority & Urban Development, the Mayor of Los Angeles who only cares women with multiple children from many fathers instead of someone who tried to do things right and prevent tragedies like that from happening in the first place.

I feel like a Pheonix Rising out of the ashes. The place I lived was taken from me, I haven’t seen my mom in nearly a year and my sister won’t give mom the phone or arrange for me to see her. All my belongings are in storage vaults and I am trying to get a place and a job at the same time.

I am three years short of being a senior myself, so in my opinion we have a power attorney run amuck and elder abuse dual fold-against my mom and myself. Total apathy and callousness was exhibited on behalf of my mother and I. Nobody and I mean nobody will ever break the two of us apart.

Mike Bunker has been malicious in intent and I want to mandate an outside party to look after my mom who would look out for her that I trust.

Reply here if you know any lawyers who would read this and take my case.

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry…

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.” – Oscar Wilde

Oscar Wilde’s words made me think here and then re-think what exactly he meant.

In my opinion what he is saying is:

We imitate way too often in life. From the thoughts we think to the opinions we claim are our own. Many are afraid to say anything out of the ordinary, even if they might be totally right and have valid points to make.

I think the most boring people around and also the most annoying are those who won’t state their opinion about anything. They fear someone will disagree with them so they say nothing at all.

Even worse is the person who could have turned in the cell phone they found in a bathroom stall so the rightful owner could have a chance at cleaiming their world and contacts and information contained therin. (I mention that specific example because I turned one in last night when I found in sitting in the bathroom.) The opportunities are all over though to make that difference, if you only feel like it.

When was the last time you stood up for a cause you felt strongly about?

Sign a petition on Care.org and become involved with making a difference in the world, one signature at a time.

I know everybody speaks of how many followers one has on Twitter or Face Book or other networking sites. When was the last time you thought of “where you are leading people to”?

When Oscar Wilde said their lives are a mimicry, it is because few set the pace for others or are TREND SETTERS….showing the way to better or newer ways of doing things or thinking.

By saying “their passions are a quotation” I think Oscar Wilde meant instead of us making the most out of what are strenths and passions are enabling us to be quoted one day, we “retweet” other’s words instead of writing or creating something with the intent for it to have lasting longevity.

I hope this made you think in new and enlightening ways.

If it did, I did my job as a writer.

My Church Lies in the Sea by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

image

My church lies in the sea and I am part of each wave that sings it’s Sea Song.
My church lies in the sea and the sea gulls are the choir.
The stained glass windows consist of multi-colored skies and the billowing clouds are the angels looking peacefully downward on me…
Seeming to Guide Me….

All is well by the sea and as I walk tensions disappear, if by magic. My load is lightened and my back and neck and forehead feel no worry and my heartaches are cast into the great depths.

God bless the sea and let’s protect it and the sea creatures that dwell within it innocently.

Much as a church we must respect it, cherish it as a woman is to a man.

God bless the sea and God bless ME.

What book or film impacted your life or altered how you see the world? What art left a lasting imprint on your soul?

I found a great post on Word Press that asked his reader this telling question so I thought I would ask the readers of Totally Inspired Mind.

What book impacted your life in a good way that has left a lasting imprint on your soul?

image

Share the book title with the readers on the site here.

My answer:

I read Helen Keller’s biography when I was a kid in 5th grade and shared it with my friend Cheryle Lightcap, who was blind and sat in the back of the class with her countless books in braille. After seeing what Helen Keller did and was blind and deaf, with the help of Anne Sullivan, I knew I could do anything I would set my mind to do in life. What I was diagnosed with, epilepsy, even though not well controlled, seemed like nothing by comparison.

Helen Keller is to this day my heroine and if you read her essay called “Optimism” you will see just what a genius she was and it is so incredible because she wrote as though she could see and spoke of topics like philosophy, religion, and politics.

Read any of Helen Keller’s books. She didn’t just write one, but over 20! You can find them all by searching her name in the books section on Amazon and also talking to a good librarian. Her book Mid Life was written later in her life. Even in her late years, she referred to Anne Sullivan as her “teacher”.

My mother was always my “Anne Sullivan” to me instilling values, and integrity and my belief system as well as fostering every talent I possess. The best I am I owe to her.
I hope others write and tell what books made an impression on them as I did here.

Paulette’s Prayer and You Writing Your Own Personal Prayer

Paulette’s Prayer and The Ways it Has Been Answered

Writing Your Prayer

Copyright April 2013  Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

PrayingHands

I found this when going through some of the many things I wrote on MS Word in My Documents folder. I didn’t realize so many of my prayers had been answered until reading this and being astonished at how my life, ever so slowly, transformed itself into what it is today on April 14th, 2013.

My mother always told me that I could achieve anything any one else could if I only tried. She was a visionary and a creative person and I was given many gifts from her in those ways. She is 81 years young and I hope that I can encourage her to create once again a picture or a painting or something else she loves today. After my dad’s death last September 2012, it was a blessing in many ways because he was suffering so much, but it took a long time for her to fully understand that he truly was not here. She has advanced Alzheimer’s disease and telling her once was bad, but it took three times that I had to tell my mom when I lived next to her, before she truly understood he touched the Face of God. Once I described it that way, that he was no longer in pain, and his prayers were answered, then she smiled and knew what I had said. Then we hugged and hugged some more and they bring tears to me today to recall.

I am much stronger than I was then, and I have fought to achieve the basic things I needed mentioned in this prayer.

Paulette Le Pore Motzko

For instance, I now have Medical insurance and it pays for my very expensive medicine for epilepsy after 12 years of fighting. My medicine alone is many thousands a year and I was literally selling things each month to afford it. I have worked furiously to create what is now the web sites that are flourishing and are becoming more popular:

http://www.CookingUpaStorminCa.ning.com Cooking Up a Storm All Over The World!

http://www.TotallyInspiredPC.wordpress.com Totally Inspired Mind

http://www.PhotosThatInspireWords.wordpress.com  Photos That Inspire Words

http://www.CookingUpaStormWithMissPolly.com  Cooking Up a Storm With Miss Polly

I no longer live next to what was my parent’s place and is now my mother’s place, and am awaiting my one bedroom apartment home in Santa Ana, CA. It will be a dream come true when it is finished in June 2013 as Good Will Industries will help me with my grocery shopping, which as you can see was on my “list” from years ago.

I am way more healthy than I was then and have lost close to 70 pounds and feel like a new person.

I got my “magic pills” which are Tegretol and Vimpat-a very expensive drug for complex partial epilepsy, which I have created by UCB. Every time I go pick up my pills at Walgreens I say to myself three “thank God’s”-one for the drug being there for me to take, another for the insurance paying for it, and for me being so healthy in mind, body and soul on it.

I no longer associate with the negative verbally abusive people who were dragging me down to their lowly size, and many were my siblings. My dad continually did it but he is no longer here of this earth.

Also, there are several gentleman callers who are interested in me and one in particular who is having a procedure to repair his shoulder that was injured while he was in the service. He envisions he and I together in the future. Time will tell what happens.

Since this prayer was written in 2009 so many things have changed for the better. It is only through documenting our experiences today can we see our progress and how we have achieved what we set out to do. I believe that there is a God or an Omnipotent Presence that surrounds and Guides us all. I am not going to preach to you here in this article, but rather to tell you encourage you to write your own prayer.

How this was done was I wrote down the key things I wanted changed in my life and that I needed to live. Health always comes first because without it, we cannot fully achieve our full potential. People come next and our dreams and goals.

I created CARestaurantShowCase.com and hope that it will become successful the more time I can invest with it.

Totally Inspired Mind has been the most rewarding to create back in October when I realized that I could no longer single-handedly help and take care of mom. Her Alzheimer’s disease has worsened to drastic proportions. I stayed in a hotel I liked that had a really great internet connection and was located to all things I loved in Huntington Beach, and it seemed the words and ideas flowed. I wasn’t continually preoccupied with someone knocking on the door every 5 minutes which could test a saint!

To date there are 836 followers on the site and is read by over 20 countries and the site is still in its infancy.

To make this personal to you, I recommend that you write your own prayer today.

Date it and then type it or write it as though God or Jesus or whoever you pray to is there by your side or a dear friend.

Next month take your prayer out and look at them side by side then alter the prayer as your prayers begin being answered.

My book Self-Fulfilling Prophecies and Positive Affirmations, is being written and I may change the title upon completion. More exercises like this one will be in it.

That is what I do when I pray and that is how I have done it all my life.

Say your prayer every day and watch things change in your life.

If you notice things improving, please take the time to write me at TotallyInspiredPC@gmail.com and tell me how your life is improving.

It is a combination of you making it happen in act, word and deed and the faith that things will change through a higher power.

Something I have noticed is that whenever I do something good for someone, something wonderful happens to me, and even if it doesn’t, I feel wonderful doing it.

I hope that by sharing this with the world it will make you realize that you are in more control of your life than you know. You can be like the “guidance system” in a rocket that communicates what direction the rocket will go.

Your dreams can go as high as the stars in the sky if you only want them to!

Paulette’s Prayer November 6th, 2009

Dear Lord,

Please protect my health and make my pills work, give me joy and new hope for a new day. Allow me to never have another worry about money as long as I live and make the most out of the many skills you have given me.

Let me meet only people who are: kind, caring, empathetic, compassionate and good-natured who value what is most in life-You and the good things in life.

Also, let me avoid all those who are not good for me in some capacity, avoiding any physical and/or verbal abuse.

Let me attract Good in Life as though as were a magnet that radiates outward like the sun, bringing it closer to me.

Let me do something with my music so that the world may hear my songs that I have written since

I was a child at 9.Image

Let my words inspire others and let me continue to write the book that I am working on now visualizing it sitting on the bookshelf at the bookstore.

Let my business thrive and let me create new and better services and make my clients happy only to return and tell others about me-creating a chain reaction.

Let me find the man that I will be with for the rest of my life, who will love me, respect me, and think I am beautiful inside and out…and never let me know the word lonely as long as YOU are NEAR.

Let me know what peace is of knowing that I have enough money, insurance to pay for my medical needs, and let me strive to be the most able bodied woman I can be.

Let me be seizure free and aspire to great things and make YOU PROUD as long as I am alive.

The Only Disability in Life is a Bad Attitude-Who have you known that inspired you?

Once a writer writes something, the trick is getting it “out there” in the big blue expanse and hoping that people find merit in what you write about. That is what has happened with this site, one of the 5 I created and write one.

I had no idea what a blog was a few years back, but found a Writer’s Market book at the Newport Beach Library telling me how creating a blog would create readership, build a web platform, and I could tell the world about something that really mattered to me.

I then had the idea to create a member based cooking site that involved way more than cooking, and had features on it and would be a test run for the cook book that will eventually be in print. “Cooking Up a Storm All Over The World!” now has 206 members from all over the world, and has many people who are Contributing Writers on it. I can assign titles to anyone, allowing burgeoning writers to show case their work, which gives me joy. I never imaged it would have turned into something so extraordinary–but it did.

Now Totally Inspired Mind is becoming more popular every day, with 25-30 new followers a week, unheard of by comparison to my first cooking site! The comments I have gotten from people are all stellar, for the reasons I want them to be.

I have many SEO Marketers contacting me about the word choice I use. In regards to this, I did SEO Writing for a client of mine for a year and though I did it and got paid for it, I didn’t care for it at all. SEO rules goes against the DNA of every good writer and forces a person to be redundant, use simple language and it is not a natural way to write. I have recently invested in many hundreds of dollars in SEO/Marketing books that say the opposite about SEO.

I believe in simply writing great content and attract people to the sites I create by the sheer fact that is great. I have avoided gimmicks on purpose because I don’t want to bribe someone to “read my stuff!” I have plans to do Affiliate Marketing on the sites this years and Sponsorships to companies I fully endorse their products and methodologies.

What SEO writing does and SEO in general is it it forces traffic to your site, not because it is good content but because you are tricking the search engines to find it! I want to be found on the merits that I am a great writer and that I offer people something of value.

I am a genuine person and I want my philosophies and practices reflect that. I am not a hypocrite and the only people in my life are good people who care about the world, the environment, people around them, children and our future. if they are not that, I really don’t want to “hang around with them”. Who you don’t associate with is just as important as who you do, because negative people drag you down like a ball and chain wrapped around your ankle. I know, because I had some family members who whose actions were the polar opposite of that.

I got rid of bleeding ulcers by simply removing the cause of them, and I was related to 4 of them!

In the 50 comments I have replied to today, someone asked me if I had a Facebook Page for Totally Inspired Mind, and I told them no, but I will certainly go create one since I know there is a want and desire!

You see in life I listen to what people say, and if I feel there are enough people who would follow the page, I would create it. It wouldn’t take me very long in the grand scheme of things.

If any one has a story that you feel would fit nicely on Totally Inspired Mind and thing more positive minds would appreciate it, send it to me at:

TotallyInspiredPC@gmail.com

Thank you again for reading what I write, appreciating the photos that I take with all the love in the world.

Until next time,

Believe in All That You Are-Poem by Leslie Neilson

Text and captions and photographs and

As the dawn of each morning…

peers into your life,

there lies a path to follow.

Delicate whispers can be heard

if you listen to the sound of your heart

and the voice that speaks within you.

If you listen closely to your soul,

you will become aware of your dreams

that are yet to unfold.

You will discover that there lies within you

a voice of confidence and strength

that will prompt you to seek a journey

and live a dream.

Within the depths of your mind,

the purpose and direction of your life

can be determined by listening intently

to the knowledge that you already possess.

Your heart, mind, and soul

are the foundation

of your success and happiness.

In the still of each passing moment,

may you come to understand that

you are capable of reaching a higher destiny.

When you come to believe in all that you are

and all that you can become,

there will be no cause for doubt.

Believe in your heart, for it offers hope.

Believe in your mind for it offers direction.

Believe in your soul, for it offers strength.

But above all else…believe in yourself.

The stars in the night sky, the constellations represent the cosmos and the Omnipotent Presence we all believe in...or at least I do.Every day we are alive is one more day we can learn, become, throw away old habits and focus on what and who matters ad our main priorities in life.

What are some of your favorite inspirational quotes? Share yours too.

When I was reading from one of my favorite books on my many book shelves, I ran on to one entitled “Norman Vincent Peale: Words That Inspired Him.”

I have marked with a highlighter the entire book with my favorites from the 457 pages, and also added my versions of how I would change the quotation, using it as a springboard.

So then I ask you all, my readers, to share a few of your favorite quotations and the sources of where they came from. If you have an adaption of the quote, then add that too.

In the chapter entitled “My Favorite Quotations” here are a few of my favorite ones. The fantastic things about quotes are that if you found insight and wisdom from the author, you can look up the author or where the quotation came from and read the book or entire work. That is what I have been doing since I was a kid.
