Ramona’s Alzheimer’s Disease Daily: May 21st 2018 Edition

https://paper.li/PollyMotzko/1356862348#/

There are 89 contributors in today’s issue of Ramona’s Alzheimer’s disease Daily.

Mom at 85 and me on our last trip to the beach in Huntington Beach, CA.

In that photo of her she was saying “I love you so much!”

The best of who I am I owe to my sweet mother and it’s that special bond we had that fuels the fire deep within me to help others who are going through living with someone with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia and to raise money to find the cure.

When I created Ramona’s Alzheimer’s Disease Daily when I was taking care of my mom in Southern California, I was so happy because I knew I couldn’t stop the progression of the disease and one day Mom would be a stellar memory.

I would only be able to look at photos of her on a wall which I do everyday now.

More and more people are acquiring dementia or Alzheimer’s disease every day, and nothing would make me happier, as a double caregiver, to know I did something extraordinary to help with information, advocacy and to raise money for medical research that funds the medicines that helps others lead better lives and tells others how to prevent it. Finding the cure for Alzheimer’s disease is a mission Worth Fighting For.

I made the 1st call to the corporate division of The Alzheimer’s Association and I am hoping we can work together to educate, inspire, and raise money to find the cure for Alzheimer’s disease. I have all also connected with the regional director in the southwest desert chapter.

Everyone say a prayer on this.

Serene Sunday: Sunday, May 20th, 2018

I hope you all have enjoyed the mini inspiring videos that I put up over the course of last night and today. I sure did! And many of these you can play them back every day so that it can help you remember why you’re on this Earth, what you’re fighting for and hope you get your priorities straight and centered.

And, if you’re not Christian, then find something that you can do to tune in on your spiritual side, no matter what it is, for you.

Once you find out what helps you and what helps you stay centered, then do it every day and make sure it incorporates your spiritual life into your business life and family life.

Watching Kerry Shook on TBN on cable and will write more afterwards.

I have never heard of Kerry Shook or knew of him before the TBN special.

Deshaun Watson was his guest, a very inspirational sports star because of his philosophy on living.

He is Christian and prays every day and looks for guidance in everything he does.

He’s also a mentor for kids and a positive role model.

I don’t follow sports, or football, but I do know Deshaun has a winning attitude and has done really well in his life with his sweet Mother as his Guide.

I hope all of your day way royally blessed. Mine was.

My morning began with my extreme case of sinus trouble that has been going on for 2 weeks now really getting the better of me and requiring me to go to urgent care so I could get my throat looked at, because it felt really sore and scratchy.

I have an acute sinus infection and am not contageous in any way.

I specifically asked the doctor that, and he said “no you don’t worry about giving anybody anything.”

I was relieved to know I didn’t have the flu or something, as there are lots of new cases of influenza on the news around here in Las Vegas.

A virus is not the kind of gift I like giving.

So, the doctor gave me a prescription that I will take for 10 days. I felt better after the 1st pill, in my throat didn’t feel quite so irritated.

So you see, there’s always something to be thankful for!

What are you thankful for today?

Share something you’ve thanked God for in the comment box.

I hope one of you actually does.

Until next Serene Sunday, stay blessed, be strong and help someone just because you can.
