There are a few simple guidelines I operate by in life and some of them are:

  1. Put Integrity and value first, no matter what anybody else does.
  2. If you’re in business don’t be afraid to turn jobs down that would undermine your integrity or would be beneath what you represent.
  3. Fine tune your game plan every day.
  4. Be a voracious reader and lifelong learner.
  5. If you wonder how some thing is done, do research and then find out how to do it. Then, if you really want to do something cool, show someone else how to do it afterwards. You might learn to do it so well that you are able to mentor someone else in the future!
  6. Spend time in nature or at a minimum sunshine everyday. If you don’t have sunshine and the weather is dismal or rainy, then put on nature sounds for listen to the rain outside your window. Open the window slightly so you can hear it. Nature sounds are calming because we’re connected to them.
  7. Exercise and spend time building your balance, stamina, and concentration through exercises like yoga and Tai Chi.
  8. Keep only quality people around you who represent your ideals and ethical beliefs.
  9. Try to make as many voice-to-voice phone calls as you possibly can instead of texting. You will find that you’re going to be building more quality relationships because you’re going to hear vocal intonation that you wouldn’t have heard otherwise. It’s a much more human, highly personal way to communicate too- the way we did things before cell phones were invented! Another Fringe benefit that will blend over into other areas of your life, is that you’ll have fewer distractions while you work on more important projects.
  10. The satisfaction from communicating in a more old school way and avoiding some of the new School Technology is incredible. It will make you feel more relaxed and less like a tech geek.
  11. Try to minimize multi-tasking, and instead focus on quality, quality and more quality. Work on one specific thing at a time and keep your concentration level high into the best that you’re able.

What three words are meaningful to you? Share your three words in the comment box.

Integrity, Compassion, and Proactivity are my three words which signify things that are key stars in my life.

It would be awesome to hear from some of the many followers and readers on totally inspired mind. Maybe your reader that just joined over the last 30 days, and I thoroughly appreciate your presence here everyday. What are three things which matter to you? How about I ask you in that way?

As 2017 exits out of our existence by midnight tonight and 2018 comes in with a crescendo, by you telling me what three words matter to you, it tells me a lot about you and what you value, and more about what you place importance on.

I hope to hear from more of you today and I hope that if you decide to go out to a party or something that you are safe.

Thanksgiving Every Day: Thankfulness is a Mindsetest and Way of Life

Me choosing scrumptious subtlety sweet Italian Lemon Cream Cake at Fellini’s Italian Restaurant at the Stratosphere by candlelight late at night

which is something I typically don’t do as I go to bed pretty early and get up pretty early, but something told me to just go out and enjoy my Thanksgiving the day before all the crowds blocked the freeway getting down to the strip today on Thanksgiving. So, since I took a nap and got extra sleep I was able to go out down to Roxy’s Diner where I have lots of friends who work there, and it’s always a wonderful time there and I had an open faced turkey sandwich, which was almost a Thanksgiving dinner! It was so big that I’m going to be in the leftovers today.

The photo that miraculously had enough power, even on power saver to make possible.

I didn’t take my usual three batteries for my Note 4, and didn’t really want to sit at Starbucks doing work like I usually do, OR carry a bunch of “junk” with me that weighs a ton, like I usually do. We all need balance in life and we need to  maximize every area of our life  be it personal , work, spiritual  and physical exercise too.
It’s good to do something out of the ordinary and be spontaneous once in awhile and communicate with people, not take an earpiece purposely, even if you like to listen to music on a playlist through the day or whatever, but just connect with life and the living.

I know I made everyone else’s Thanksgiving extraordinary that I went out of my way to communicate with in a totally genuine way, and every time I did that Joy  came back at me like I have a boomerang.

They hire people who are really wonderful and kind and go out of their way at The Stratosphere anyway. It was fun to go up to police officers, security guards, people who were traveling from other states, people who sat alone, and people who are doing heavy manual labor jobs and purposely wish them a very blessed Thanksgiving.

People who do that kind of work NEED KINDNESSS most of all because they do their job with smiles on their faces but quite often get lost in the shuffle of life.

It’s nice when one person looks their name tag and thinks enough of them to call them my name and let them know that they’re important. Things like that can make a difference in somebody’s life.

May you all have a most blessed Thanksgiving and carry the spirit of Thanksgiving with you every day throughout the year.

It’s always summer in my heart.

It’s no matter that I have lived in Las Vegas, NV several years now with the dust blowing around me and the rocks beneath my feet; it will always be summer in my heart and soul.

Me below at the Starbucks in The Stratosphere. The photo was taken a few days ago on the 11th of November.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona, also the desert Southwest, but for over 40 years of my life. Southern California was my home.

I was old enough to truly appreciate the blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean around me, the palm trees  calm of the beautiful flowers and all of the other  extraordinary scenery  of California.

It is where I went elementary school, Middle School, High School and college graduate School. Where I was married and 15 years later unfortunately divorced. But it’s also where I began discovering who I really was deep inside after being true to my inner voice, as I call my intuition.

I would love to lease a place there and yet keep my place in Vegas. That way, I could enjoy the uniqueness of both and do work with my old clients and discover new ones.

There are no perfect places to live, but ones that can never be forgotten, like the special people who have helped make me who I am.

I hope that what’s coming for me is like my paper whites blooming with twice the blooms they were supposed to have, my goals exceeding my expectations.

Where have you always wanted to go that you’ve never been to YET?

It doesn’t  have to be fancy place, it doesn’t have to be far away place, it just has to be a special place to you -and only you alone.

Feel free to make comments here if you like.

Thank You from Paulette Motzko to the 26 New Followers in The Last 30 Days.

I would have more followers but I hear there’s no “follow me” button. I will be working on enhancing the features on the site to make that possible.

The great news is that my followers are tried-and-true, they are genuine, they are intelligent extraordinary individuals whose talents even defy my own comprehension at times. What I envisioned when I created this site in 2012 has become literal reality that is even superseded what my vision was of the best for the site. Every follower every reader has come back like a magnet attrated for all the right reasons -because I am genuine and as what am I long-standing Facebook friends Maria Lourdes Lipardo told me-“you are so transparent”. At the time she said it I didn’t quite know what that meant. Now years later I call it a high compliment.

The world is full of far too many Yes Men comply or go along with a crowd. I’ve never been that kind of person I always have been an individualist.

Because I was misunderstood as a child, I am the quickest to try and understand others, and another person’s point of view. Matters to me to understand communication is Paramount. Just as I was telling a nice lady at the station casino Grand Cafe earlier last night:

We’re all connected on the planet no matter what race color creed. It really doesn’t matter what our faith is but that we believe in something greater than ourselves we treat others with dignity. We don’t need to be like one another, life would be boring if we were. We can learn from each other’s differences and grow as people.

The sun is coming up here in Las Vegas now when I can see the white flowers on the huge Bush surrounding my picture windows blooming. I live upstairs and like it because I’m the one making the noise and its private and I can have a garden on my balcony and go out there anytime and be in my “desert oasis” I created over time.

As I was looking at my statistics here I noticed the atlas of the world filling in with the readership from Canada and many other countries that never read my blog prior.

Makes me a really feel gratified to know that the many hours that I invest in this site is appealing to all people and has become quite universal.

Thank you for all your contributions and comments app for putting a smile on my face everyday.

May every single person who reads this be blessed.

Paulette Motzko Shared “Daily Readings From The Power of I Am” by Joel Osteen”, The Power & Freedom with Google Play Books

I absolutely love Google Play books and I quite a vast library of books that would have cost me a venerable fortune if I would have bought off a bookstore shelf.

Image photographed and created by Paulette L. Motzko,  PLM Studios, Las Vegas Nevada

Also, another benefit of the Google Play Books technology is that you can have the book read to you while you’re doing something else, you can take notes while you’re reading it and most of the better-known books have the feature where you can turn on the feature that says “Read Aloud.” The beauty of it is you can bookmark outline any part of the book you want. You can control the size of the font, and for me I have it bumped up to the max because I wear Progressive bifocals.

I think my vision now is as bad as what a my ex-husband- the rocket scientist was- when I married him. It comes from just reading and age and a whole variety of things, close-up work, computer work, of which I’ve done my share of.

I bought The Writer’s  Market 2017  and also The Photographer’s Market 2017 ebook Editions for the first time and it’s awesome because the books are. I can have access to any of the things on either those two massive big, very informative trade journals anywhere I go and they don’t weigh anything and I don’t have to carry them in a huge bag like I used to so all these things make it pretty wonderful.

I do love a book with a cover though, and I will never stop buying them or advocating them they also will never go out of print as long as writers like me keep riding and photographers like me keep shooting photographs that immortalize extraordinary moments captured for all time.

There are some books that if filled with really extraordinary pictures that I want in book form.

You just have to decide what works for you and if it’s largely text, which this particular book is, it doesn’t really matter if you get it the “book with cover” book or this version.

This book that the link goes to is fantastic for any Christian person, along with the first book that I read from Joel Osteen that I discovered on Pinterest.

That book is called “I Declare” by Joel Osteen and I believe it’s been printed and every country in the world.

Another awesome aspect of Google Play books is you can get a free sample of any book in the world. Did you know that?

 Most people don’t know that.

I make it my point to know stuff like that. So you can get a free sample today for free of this book and any other one you want for that matter if you don’t like it you can live in the contents you can take a look at it then you don’t need to buy it but you’ve got some of it. Night recommended you’ll be better off having read the few pages that they give you for free than you were before.

I would say that Joel Osteen is probably the most inspiring writer of our time along with Max Lucado, Louise Hay, and Joan Borysenko.

I went to one of us performances with his wife when he was here in Las Vegas few months back.

If I was to say what books would I recommend that are life-changing and will begin  changing your life overnight by changing the way you view about your life, your family, God, and higher power and your role in this world.

I would recommend through Google Play Books.

(I can’t stand Kindle because of all of the ads that come up constantly on it.)

There are no ads -ever any ads -on Google Play Books. It is a book- and thank God the Google people have kept it that way. They’re  not trying to sell you anything on Google Play Books; it is a literary work in a very savvy, lightweight , incredible technological medium.

When my first book is printed, when it’s printed into an ebook, after getting my ISBN number and my copyright excetera -I would want it to be on Google Play Books, because I now know how crappy the Kindle system is. It‘s awesome if you like ads but I don‘t and I don‘t want people paying for my book and getting a bunch of crappy ads.

Also every book in the public domain is available free of charge on Google Play books.

So, if your kids have to do a book report on the Twelfth Night by Shakespeare, for God’s sake don’t by Cliff Notes because it’s all available on Google Play books for free!

That was done by Google several years ago and it was groundbreaking because the Google people wanted to see that information, education, and classic works like public domain books were made available to all people. They registered those books as historical documents.

And I say Thank You to Google for being extraordinary and for thinking in those ways, because it took some years to get all of the legal permissions to make that possible. Two large extended made education and books free, or at least cheaper, making them more accessible to everyone no matter where they lived in the world.

It’s really extraordinary because I was looking for Helen Keller’s book entitled “Optimism” which is what lead me to Google Play Books.

I went to I don’t know how many bookstores and nobody carried it and couldn’t order it.

I went to 12 libraries and all the copies were checked out! ThenI found it on Google Play Books in an almost miraculous way.

I will never forget opening it for the first time and seeing a literal picture of the book, that someone scanned, and it opened up, unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.

Helen Keller I’S STILL INSPIRING THROUGH HER WORDS AND WAS ONE of the GREAT GENIUSES of our time.

WHEN YOU read something by HELEN KELLER Keller YOU ARE FOREVER ENLIGHTENED. It is so ironic that someone who could not see or hear can Enlighten and inspire all of the seeing or not saying world.

She was and will always be my heroine and who first inspired me as a recently diasnosed 9 year old girl with epilepsy. I got her book about her life on a book drive that Simmons School in Garden Grove had  and I knew that if she could do what she did  with what she was dealt with I could do anything. That combined with my mother’s extraordinary wisdom,  cheerleading,  and being the kind of person that she was , my Ann Sullivan, if you will  helped me deal with what I  had to do with  until Tegretol at age 14 was invented and then Vimpat by UCB many years later.

Who better to write about optimism than Helen Keller right?  She was the Paragon of optimism in my book.

When I read “Optimism” on Google Play Books, I was astounded by her extraordinary knowledge about philosophy and logic, and her extraordinary descriptions sounded as though she seen or heard.

(If any of you reading this don’t know who Helen Keller was she was blind and deaf and her world opened when her teacher Anne Sullivan came into her world from Gallaudet University. Miss Anne Sullivan explained to her in a literal self-discovery process, that every thing in her world had a meaning. W-A-T-E-R fingerspelled in her hand was the word that became the turning point for everything that would follow in the many books that would be in print by her. It is a great example of every action has a chain reaction in life.

Check out Google Play Books and your world will open like a flower.

BLESS THE BEAUTIFUL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Happy Flag Day 2017!

Photo created by Paulette L Motzko, Copyright June 2017 PLM Studios.

Wednesday June 14th 2017 at

Here’s a note about the sparking American flag I used in the photo here….

It is one of my grandmother’s cherished pins she used to wear. She was my mother’s mother and singlehandedly raised her children on her own due to my grandfather James Hubert Hart dying of spinal meningitis when my mother was four years old.

Mom said the day that she finally realized that she was alive was the day she overheard someone talking about who is getting all the kids, and what houses they were all going to because Grandma couldn’t afford to take care of them all herself.

Grandma wasn’t afraid to take a man’s job in a time when it was was very unpopular for a woman to rivet airplanes -but she did.

There wasn’t anything that could stop my grandmother Ruby Hart.

She was proud to be an American citizen and so appreciative of everything that you ever did for her— just like my mother.

That’s why when she had Alzheimer’s disease-like my mother had, untiL she touched the face of God nearly a year ago  I didn’t think anything of helping taking care of her.

I bought her big print Readers Digest books to encourage her to talk and keep her mind active…and they did.

She read one of them every day … so I bought more for her and she smiled as she read each story.

I found them at local libraries and we would talk about the stories in each story, which would inspire her to tell me about her life recalling memories of when she was younger.

I don’t have a digital image of Grandma-yet’ but I’ll create one for this story I didn’t know I was going to write, until writing the first sentence!

I know we have our trouble in America, but when you compare us to other countries- it’s pretty damn nice country anyway you look at it. We have precious  freedoms another country can match.

I didn’t say God Bless America because I wanted everyone no matter who they were to be able to relate to the image and the meaning behind image.

I’m Christian so I’ll always say God Bless America, but as an empowered lady I would love to see all of us all over the world worry less about religion & culture and focus more about just treating each other kindly and know everyone has a right to believe what they feel strongly about.

As long as they are not hurting you or anyone then let him believe it if they find solace and peace through it.

Uniting as living, breathing people who have the power to good-is my dream for not only America but for the world.

If I wrote my entire name, complete with my middle name, confirmation name, maiden name and then married name it would look something like this….

Paulette Ann Therese Le Pore Motzko.

I was confirmed in 2001 after reading prayers of my Nanny’s and seeing a St. Therese chaplet advertised in the church bulletin.

I sent for it and began saying the 24 Glory Be To The Father prayers, (one for each of the 24 years she lived), asking her to carry my intention’s to the Throne of God like a bouquet of sweet roses. Roses started appearing in places where no roses grew and always when I asked for something,  or the prayer would be answered.

That’s when I wanted to become confirmed, adding Therese to my name as a testimony to her influence in my life, which was very late for any Catholic.  I never cared about what any one else did,  but always stayed true to myself and genuine of heart. My Mother was my Sponsor with the Bishop. Those photos are stellar to look back on today.

Even if you’re not Catholic but Christian, Muslim, Jewish or any other faith; there is great merit to be gleaned in St. Therese’s wisdom-filled words.

Below is a chaplet of St. Therese.

Every Action Has a Chain Reaction in Life -Make Your Actions Great, Memorable and Lasting!

  • Make the things you’re involved with in life be positive chain reactions.
  •  Make people glad they know you.
  • Don’t be manipulative.
  • Don’t be a user.
  • Be a giver.
  • Don’t look for something every time you do something – good or positive for someone for no reason.
  • When you give someone a gift that’s what that means – it’s a gift. You’re not looking for something in return. If you are looking for something in return, then that means you are manipulative and you’re doing it because you expect something- and it’s not a gift it all is it?

Make your intentions genuine.

Be sincere.

Have integrity.

Have big picture ideas where you see the big picture of the entire world and much as the nose on your face.

Shoot for longevity in the projects you’re working on.

Genuinely try and help every client, as unique a’s they are.

When you open your mind and think of opportunities and what you can give, and ways you could help each client—great things happen.

Don’t compare ourself to what everyone else is doing. Think outside the box and think for yourself. Expand on your ideas.

If all you do is follow others, you could be following mediocrity! You want to be the one that leads the way to new, brighter Horizons!

Opportunities will arise that will appear as though if by Magic. I am a very spiritual, intuitive, Christian lady; I know that “magic” is GOD.

Blessings will surface effortlessly when you have your mind off the dollars you’re getting for the job. Instead, focus on building lasting relationships and building in creating extraordinary projects that lead to recurring work and passive income.

Life is way more than quick payoffs.

Success isn’t measured by how much money you have in the bank but rather what kind of human being you are and what your value system is. You can make good money and add value to other people’s lives and enjoy doing it. All those things are possible for you and I. You have to give it all some serious thought though, with no distractions.

Everything you do in life builds your reputation, and from your soul, your mind and attitude, your heart and your brain- your reputation will follow you the rest of your life and each positive, proactive action carves your reputation.

Do good.

Do great.

Do exemplary things.

Don’t be afraid of hard work because there is a huge payoff that will help more than you awaiting you.

“Lightness” by Caroline Slee: A Beautiful Poem About How We Can Transform Adversity into Clarity with Hope

Lightness…#MondayBlogs – http://wp.me/p1kUsy-AT

Our feet grow heavy with grief

and so we begin to dance

Our minds cloud with fear

until we transform

Every minute

a whisper of hope against impossible odds

Moving with instinct

flowing like water

Boundless

we create our shape

and chart a map

unexplored

Our hearts rise

bright against mourning

opposing forces

lifting us once more

The veil thins

when we choose

to see…

Good morning everyone. Inspire Just One Person Today. Mentor Another

You can make the difference in subtle and very profound ways, without even knowing it in another person’s life.

The next time you really listen to your intuition or inner voice as I call it, give this some true thought:

Think about someone you know who could use your expertise about skill, a new trade, or about a job that you’ve done for many years. Think about something very easy for you but hard for them. Step up to the plate in The Game of Life and offer to make their path a little smoother and a little easier.

If you know someone who is building a website or a blog, and you happen to be a master at it, show them how to do it just because you can. Don’t look for money or for compensation- but just do it because it makes you feel like you made a difference and it’s rewarding.

In life, you don’t have to make money on everything, but rather to make the difference and to be that extra spoke and wheel it makes that car run, or to mentor another and know from that moment on, the person you’re mentoring will have opportunities unveiled because of your actions is highly rewarding and empowering .

Next, find someone who looks really downtrodden, sitting all alone and say something to that person. Say something that’s 100% genuine AND LETS THEM KNOW THEY MATTER and that you know that theyre not indivisible.  To raise someone’s self-esteem and to make them aware of their true potential, to me, is one of the greatest satisfaction on the face of the Earth. It’s not just that one instance that is so intrinsic or special, but the POWERADE of that one instance leading to a chain reaction in a lifetime of change for that human being.

I know Dr. Leo Buscaglia had said in his fabulous book called LOVE, that I highly recommend, that I read in 1984 when I was in college that:

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, smile, a kind word, a listening ear. An honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

(I have the magnet on my fridge and I read it all the time of the power that every individual has to make an impact on other people’s lives.)

It is the ittle things in life like that make it special, for not just yourself but for them as well because they create that wonderful thing called “Triple Win”- I win, um, and Society wins. Just imagine that from moment Society wins period That’s a concept was introduced to me in the Master’s certification program at Chapman University back in 1997.

Here on March 12th 2017, when all of our clocks for fast-forwarded an hour due to daylight savings time, fast forward the result of your positive actions before you do them and see the big picture of your great works before you do them. Be a Visionary. Be a catalyst for positive change on a intimate, one-on-one basis and in your community too.

You be the huge difference in someone’s life and build some new friendships and bonds that will last a lifetime from your initiative.

God bless….

Your Epilepsy News Resource

http://paper.li/PollyMotzko/1356861050#/

More people have epilepsy than you are aware. Many people you know have it but they just wanted to tell you later, for fear that you won’t be their friend or something.

All you need is a blow on the head, high fever, convulsions, severe enough infection or a coma and you could acquire it. I had all those things and nearly died before my second birthday.

In other words, everyone is susceptible epilepsy under the right circumstances.

I was diagnosed with complex partial epilepsy when I was 9 years old, but I had simple partial seizures when I was four but didn’t know how to describe them. Many seizures are difficult to describe, because they don’t feel like pain, but rather a sensation.

I will always be a spokesperson for those who have the disorder and care about those who disabled because of my experiences as now a mature young minded senior of 55.

I hope to make this newsletter make money (monetize it) this year and work with CURE Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy to use their 501C3 tax status and accept private nations from people and foundations and companies giving them banner ads.

Say prayers all this, with my tenacity becomes a reality.  I have how do you touch bases with someone in marketing from cure already and so the wheels are turning in a very positive direction.

Stages of Our Lives Pass Like Changing Seasons by Paulette Le Pore Motzko New Version

Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko.

Copyright February 2017

I accidentally erased the link that was on here going to a blog post called “Stages of Change”, and prior to finding the blog post in the wee hours this morning, I had the idea to write this.

I thought the entire story would be written in an hour or by about 3 p.m. now yesterday afternoon, Las Vegas, NV time. It’s 4:00 a.m. February 28th,  2017 and with a Pentatonix Concert on Neflix playing,  I have been embellishing the post with more images that I feel tell part of the story too and modifying what I wrote.

I hope you will enjoy it. Yesterday was my day to “Get Absorbed in The News Day” writing commentaries. I am an empath in many ways, and can only handle hearing about the news of the world every few days. I would never get anything done if I did otherwise. All I have to do is run into one god-forsaken story about Trump, who’s Triple loser in my book, especially after hearing he made fun of a disabled person. Anyone that would make fun of any kind of disabled person is a pathetic human being. Trump’s animalistic, racist and self demeaning behavior boggles my mind. Yes,  I know he tries to demean other people but all he succeeds and doing it’s just lowers himself to increasing new levels of mediocrity.  I want him impeached to preserve the integrity of the United States as an American citizen. He simply makes us look bad in the eyes of other nations.

Enough of my political view points, that were not in the original post,  but I don’t stand alone in my feelings.

One of my golden rules in life is to be genuine and totally authentic. People respect that. When it comes to followers and buying followers  I don’t . All mine are real and represent real, living, breathing , wonderful people  who I have impressed somehow, or I’ve inspired, or empowered, made laugh, entertained,  or they look forward to something that I write, my original images,  or they like just me in general and my persona. My followers are real people who follow me  because I am REAL and put on no pretenses. Anything other than that is just fake in my book, and I’m working on two books currently.

I get asked all the time you want to buy some followers they say why? I have my own real ones from hard work  writing what I feel is good content. I think any industry they call that  organic. As a writer I call it smart because it’s how I know what people LIKE. IF everything is fake and contrived, it doesn’t reflect anything real but it’s just a mere illusion of popularity

When ever I see Trump’s face, one word comes to mind- impeachment. I sincerely hope that happens so the disasters and hate crimes nationwide he instigated can end. The United States needs to think of our progress rather than regression. I wish Trump wasn’t really and instead a really bad nightmare ,  nut we all wake up and he’s still there unfortunately!
Like many of my stories, posts and pictures; they are going through a creative evolutionary process, contantly changing or improving, like their creator me! We all change everyday just a little bit, even though we can’t see the changes, we still do. The great thing about that is it we all have a say in how we change,  and in what ways we change. You just have to want to change then catapult your want with action to make it a reality.

Just like the seasons are now changing from winter to spring, this article is changing with every word I write.

I hope the finished product has you look at not only me in a new way, but life in general in a new way and directs you to a newfound realization of the power you possess in it.

Embrace change. It us the only constant in life.  Those who do the best in life ADAPT.

Much like a surfer on a surfboard riding the wave, those that master the “Art of Living”, ride the wave called LIFE. We can learn from the quick reflexes of the surfer, adjusting what we do in correlation to what’s the way  was coming our way.

When I was younger I hadn’t discovered my full potential yet and didn’t see the world from a big picture vantage point yet. That was to be uncovered and made visible over time. I was a very sick, misunderstood kid that grew up in the 60’s, at a time before the time “bullying” was invented or before people cared to do something about it at least.

My nanny came to live with us when I was nine, the same age I was diagnosed with epilepsy. The piano she brought with her would soon become my best friend. It took until high school at 14 to be invented for me to know what size your freedom was.  Until the time kids were just too mean spirited stupid to ever give me a chance as human being, let alone as a friend.  I wrote music on that Henry Ford. Miller piano and read lots of cookbooks and passed the time figuring out what I was going to make and cook, analyzing recipes as though it were a novel envisioning  what I’d make  when I grew up and the parties that I would have and how awesome it would be…….

Light an aromatherapy candle and find out how you can tap into what’s inside your SOUL.

I have always found lighting a candle is a way to connect to a hidden, very special light planted in my soul.

Chances are, if you try it, you will discover it too.

Before you know it, when you start connecting with your Spiritual Source, you’ll find a light that you can protect outward at the world, and the world will be brighter as result of it. If your light shines brilliantly it’s own special way, the light will never go away as long as the World Turns. If you bring something to the world nobody has ever seen before that has great merit,  you’ll be memorable enough that your memory and good you did will “shine” like the aurora borealis.

The older I get the more I focus on the good I can give rather than what I can get and options and opportunities open like flowers in the Spring.

Paulette Motzko’s Writing Books  Recommendations and Pathways to Inspiration

This article was inspired by one of my recent followers, who went through a very tragic and tumultuous year. Because of this it stopped this once prolific writer from producing anything at all.

Sometimes we can be over critical on ourselves, overanalyzing everything that we do. That quality doesn’t help us when we create anything of value in this world, written or otherwise. Create because you want to create. Whether it be be a mud pie, a sandcastle,  a watercolor painting, a photograph, a beautiful song,  a recipe, a loaf of bread, or  the manuscript for your first book.

    Wallpaper Image from Zedge.com.

Writing can be catharsis or it can be euphoria. You can carve every word just as though you were Michelangelo and you were carving marble transforming  something  hard and solid into something that breathes with life.

That’s the analogy I like best when it comes to writing, and it has served me well since my Honors English days in High School. I took every English class that Garden Grove High had to offer I had phenomenal teachers, better than even in college.

And one thing I did in every writing class is writing is to write in my personal Journal -and just write every day.

In other words, write things that the world never see.

There are things that are only for you, God, and serve a very valid purpose.  If you don’t have a journal, go buy a nice one at Barnes & Noble, or simply use Microsoft Office  Word  on your smartphone computer or tablet.

Through devoting time to writing in a special place that inspires you, which is very important, extraordinary things will emerge. Stories can develop right before your eyes, poems can be written, recipes can be thought of.

With everything you write anywhere, especially on a Blog that seen all over the world – you’re gaining  experience, exposure, notoriety, readership and it’s just enjoyable. The enjoyable part is the most important one of all.

Once you start carving out time for writing, you’ll start carving words that are memorable and lasting and worth remembering.

If you are a writer, check out my other blog called A Writer’s Joy. A Writer’s Joy

Any kind of art, written or otherwise, is an extension of your soul. Art I’d an extension of  your inner most being. Writing is one of those timeless arts, that if used in the right way,  can outlive you do great things long after you leave this earth, creating a legacy.

Write because you feel what you’re doing is beautiful and has merit, or serves a valid purpose, or can simply  give joy, enlightenment someone, educate or you’d simply like to share it with the world. That’s exactly what you can do on a blog.

I’m going to be adding to this book list over the next week. I’m going to start with these two, which in themselves are phenomenal starting points, even if no other books were added to the list.

I hope my words of encouragement and blessings on all of your present and future creations extraordinary Beyond Your Wildest Dreams! To all of the artists, writers, photographers, musicians, and chefs create what’s never been created before. Enjoy the process. Learn everything you can about your craft. Read books, and associate with people who are doing what you want to do and let them enter you in every way they possibly can. Listen to advice and listen to helpful criticism but don’t let others dim the light that shines inside you that’s waiting to burst like a beacon to the world.

Wisdom Story: “The Hedgehogs”-The best relationship is not one that brings together perfect people.

    Wisdom Story: “The Hedgehogs”
    —————————
“It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold.

The hedgehogs, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions.

    Image from Pinterest, author unknown.

After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth.

Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.

The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person’s good qualities.”

I, for one, love strength, daring, fortitude. I do not want people to kill the fight in them; I want them to fight for the right things. Helen Keller

Helen Keller Says: “I, for one, love strength, daring, fortitude. I do not want people to kill the fight in them; I want them to fight for right things.”

One of the earliest known pictures of Helen Keller with her extraordinary teacher Anne Sullivan. She was my role model since I was 9 years old diagnosed with epilepsy. I discovered her and playing piano I’m cooking, and writing, it is very early age and very pivotal age in my life. I realized after reading what she did dealt with what she had to deal with that I could do anything I put my mind to do, if I only wanted to badly enough.

Later picture of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan,  also from Pinterest, . Photographer unknown.

Anne Sullivan brought Enlightenment to Helen Keller’s life. Before Anne Sullivan entered Helen Keller’s dark and Silent world, she didn’t understand why she was there and didn’t understand that everything had a meeting and everything had a name in this world. I suggest you read any of the books that Helen Keller wrote. Your life and your attitude will be forever changed. She was brilliant and it was Anne Sullivan that brought out that brilliance hiding like a tulip waiting to bloom buried deep in the Earth.

    TRUE TRANQUILITY

    Wisdom Story: “True Tranquility”
    —————————
“Once upon a time in ancient China, the Emperor was in his study, looking over volumes of diplomatic documents. He found it hard to concentrate, so he summoned his most trusted Minister. When the Minister arrived, he saw that the Emperor was pacing back and forth, looking irritable.

The Emperor said to him: “I wish to focus on the affairs of the state, but my mind is unsettled and agitated. When I feel like this, I need something I can look at to help me regain tranquility. Have the best artist in the land create a painting that has the power to calm me down. I want the theme of this painting to be ‘True Tranquility.’”

    “As you command, Your Majesty.”

A few days later, the Minister reported that there were three artists widely considered to be the best in China. They were equally talented, so he brought all of them into the palace. Once they understood what the Emperor wanted, they began to paint.

When the work was done, the Emperor went into the studio with the Minister to see for himself. The first painting they looked at depicted a placid lake surrounded by mountains. It was a beautiful scene; the surface of the lake seemed perfectly still and conveyed a peaceful feeling. The Emperor smiled: “This is beautiful.”

The second painting showed a snowscape. It evoked the silence after a snowfall, a deep silence that went beyond mere lack of noise, because the snow banks absorbed all sound. Both the Minister and the Emperor nodded their approval. “Very insightful,” said the Emperor.

They looked at the third painting, which featured a waterfall. “I am sorry, Your Majesty,” the Minister said. “It looks like this artist did not understand my instructions to paint a scene of serenity. Let me discard this painting, and we can choose from the first two.”

He reached for the painting, but the Emperor stopped him: “No, wait.” He stared at it for a moment longer, and then said: “This is the painting for me.”

“What? But – Your Majesty! How can this waterfall compare to the other two in representing tranquility? I do not understand!”

“The waterfall is not the most important thing in this painting,” said the Emperor. “Look again.”

The Minister took another look at the painting, more carefully this time. He saw that there was a tree next to the waterfall. One of the branches of the tree held a nest. A bird was sleeping inside that nest.

“See how the bird is able to relax and rest even though the deafening torrent is so close to it,” the Emperor pointed out. “It has such a profound quietness within that external conditions have no power to irritate or disturb. Now that is the essence of True Tranquility!””

When was the last time the you compare yourself to the little bird in the nest it wasn’t disturbed by the raging water fall?

What do you do now to cope with the stresses of life that you can share with others to help them too?

I love this beautiful acoustic guitar play list.

If you are a creative person just like I am, the key is to find out to flowing inspiration is to know in an intimate way what environment helps you create the best in yourself.

Keep repeating it over and over again. What works for you will be different than anyone else.

    Things that inspire me are…

Beautiful natural surroundings are beautiful places

    The Pacific Ocean

    Majestic mountains

    Enchanted Forest’s

Inspiring workplaces that are conducive to concentration

Special music playlist and help bring out the best in your artwork. This could be writing, this could be photography, this could be cooking or painting or some other art form.

The special place that everytime you go there you meet someone extraordinary. I have several places like that and I don’t even question what happens I just know it happens. Will meet someone who is absolutely extraordinary every time I go to this certain location. If you pay attention you’ll find then you can maximize the positives in your world. Just pay attention and follow your instincts and usually always steered in the right direction.

And lastly I do a lot of meditation everyday I’m prayer and centering thought hoping to create something I feel give something back to the universe, and will last long after I touched the face of God.

Sharing Stellar Ideas Like  Monarch Butterflies Flying From My Hands to The World by Paulette L Motzko

This all began with me sharing a beautiful Chinese Proverb late in the day and having Jennie Fitzkee, who is a teacher, writer and blogger and wonderful human being comment on how wonderful it was can I share the proverb. See it said that through me  I made the proverb brand new again.

And I told her that I had never heard it before so for me it was brand new.

From there I tried to put into words what inspiration is to me. And,  for the first time I was able to actually define it in a way that accurately fits what I envision it to be.

I asked Jennie to email exactly what I wrote in my reply to her, and she did. Somehow when I replied to her on the WordPress Web platform,  my response was completely not visible to me, and they always are.

“Jennie, I had never heard it so for me it was sparkling brand new.  It is just so gratifying when I share something I know is meaningful here.  I have a photographic memory and am a visionary kind of person.  I picture me gently holding a monarch butterfly in my hand and seeing the beauty of it all…then letting it go free to shine it’s beautiful splendor on the world.  The audience of Totally Inspired Mind are like flowers in a garden, each unique in their own way, none more pretty than the next.

When I get an idea I think is along the lines of good or great or empowering, the idea transforms into that “butterfly” that I briefly hold in my hands, admiring it, only to let it go free in hopes it will touch other’s lives to spread joy to them too.

Jennie inspired me to write that, what I called on a new Board on Pinterest I created today called “Divine Inspiration”….

People can be a catalyst for incredible ideas and collaboration that would never have been had the two people met. I would have never believed that when I got the idea for Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate from a hotel room Huntington Beach after I realized I could no longer take care of my mother who had very acute Alzheimer’s disease. Mom required a 24 hour staff  instead of me. And the most liberating thing was realizing that and being blatantly honest with those realities.

I began focusing on only myself and putting myself number one, which was strange at first. I was giving everything I possessed as a human being with nothing coming back my way, and I had to quit before the flame was extinguished. The flame bein me.

Too many caregivers give so much of themselves there remains only a whisp of who they originally were before, with almost nothing left for themselves. That is all too common in the world.

I had the idea for this site but just never had a free moment to be able to think or concentrate on anything for longer than 5 minutes. I am not complaing, those were just the realities of helping my dear mother Ramona, now in heaven–I am glad I was there for here because she needed me, and this time’s with her are precious memories that will play back for all time with a smile on my face.

I wouldn’t ever have believed what began as my brain child where I could envision the greatest, most kind, big picture thinking people all getting together….and meeting one another….around a table set around the world.

It transformed from my vision to  a website to immediate skyrocket of passionate, Triple Winning people who instantly embraced my idea and loved it.

The amount of effort that I’ve expended into it has comeback a thousandfold. It transformed from a caterpillar of an idea and through a kind of time-lapse metamorphosis, became a living, breathing wonderful entity. ….a very human thing because it is composed of imput and comments from all if you-my fabulous readers!

    Beautiful Chinese Proverb

As I was reading the inside forward of the first of the series of Chicken Soup for the Soul books by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, I spotted this beautiful Chinese proverb which I will share with you because it’s enlightening in so many ways and it shows how we’re all connected on this planet and one thing has a chain reaction.

If there is Light in the Soul, there will be Beauty in the Person.

If there is Beauty in the person, there will be Harmony in the house.

If there is Harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.

If there is Order in the Nation, there will be Peace in the World.

International Reading Year 2016 and 2017!

Let’s Declare This International Reading Year and extend it to 2017!
My writer, blogger friend Charles French had an awesome idea here. Books have been my best friends since I learned to read at 4, thanks to my dear mother for teaching me phonetics at early age. And, thank God to my father who taught me what the meaning of prefixes and suffixes meant. It made reading like a game and I could understand books at a higher level than what anyone normally could.

Sit around the dinner table tonight and ask your family members what did you learn today?….see what they say.

In my stellar memories of my family at its best,  we used to answer that every night at the dinner table and kept the television off. It was a SACRED TIME the family bonding, togetherness, and love.

Just for an evening take all the Techno devices and just put them in a drawer and for once look at each other in the eyes, make eye contact really listen to each other and really here with the other has to say. Make a field trip with your family to the library. The best thing about it is absolutely free and there’s a lot more than books in a library. Their programs, classes, periodicals from all over the world, and other cool people who read, which means they’re intelligent. Talk to your librarian about cool programs, many free or low cost, and really use all the services that they went to school for.

You can learn things out of books you’ll never learn any other way. BOOKS EXPAND YOUR MIND and Imagination.

One aspect of your life may be bad, but all your ingredients are not in.

“One aspect of your life may be bad, but all your ingredients are not in. Remember, a little baking soda can make a huge difference in a cookie recipe. Just a little break, just one person, just one idea, just one touch of God’s favor can turn the bitter into the sweet, sorrow into Joy, the mourning into dancing.”

-Joel Osteen from his phenomenal book- It’s Your Time.

    image

Last night, before I went to bed I picked up Joel Osteen’s book in large print edition called it’s your time I got it from the library.

I absolutely love the title on it and under the title was printed “Activate Your Faith, Achieve Your Dreams and Increase God’s Favor Now. That’s before I even knew about his book called “I Declare” which I discovred from some pins on Pinterest.
I would recommend getting both of them. His metaphors are fresh and inventive and creative and it’s just exactly what I needed and was “the missing ingredient” if you will, and the “recipe” for my life of this week after losing my mother on the 5th.

It’s wonderful how he says “it’s not one isolated event that determines your destiny. All the ingredients arent in in yet, comparing our lives to a recipe with different experiences as the ingredients.

We have different experiences we go through in life that make the complete picture.

So sometimes, the best ingredients, like it’s in a chocolate chips in a chocolate chip cookie recipe are saved for last.

I know it’s very difficult for me at this time because I haven’t even gone to the funeral yet for mom, and another that put both their ashes together in a military cemetary. I will get through it and I will not be alone.

And I know that it sure as the chapter closes of my mother’s sweet, wonderful, forever misses life, other chapters are opening on my life that will take me in new, positive directions…but it is hard now.

God bless all who read my words all over the world! .

Moments of Meditation: Sometimes in life, we don’t know where we’re going…

    Moments of Meditation

“Sometimes in life , we don’t know where we’re going …
    We keep going anyway”…

Just as my dear friend Theresa said in her her quote, sometimes we don’t know really what we’re doing but we learn as we go along.

Have you ever done that in life?

No sooner do you feel like you’re flying by the seat of your pants and then somehow you find the strength, and abilities to accomplish things you never thought possible.

But, in reality you werent doing it alone at all. You had a Silent Faithful Partner called God walking alongside you.

When faced with battles, if we live a prayerful life, we will find strength with the fortitude, combined with inner wisdom that is our “homing device” that guides us home.

Surround yourself with beautiful things, an appreciation for the arts and genuine people with integrity with beautiful souls. – P.L. Motzko

    image

Surround yourself with beautiful things, intelligent  people with Integrity who have beautiful souls, an appreciation of art, music, classic literature, the culinary arts , interesting people, exploring new and unique places….

…. and you’ll never be bored as long as you live.

You’ll stay young forever because you’re always regenerating and charging your battery, empowering your soul….along with your smartphone!

Make sure you take time out to unplug yourself from your technical devices and take off those ear buds and really listen to the chirping birds singing outside your window and hear your nice neighbor talking to you saying hello.

Along with the music you listen to on earphones you’re also tuning out all kinds of beautiful ambient sounds of living…including people. Always remember that.

There is a time for all things, and music is wonderful but allow yourself the quality time to hold a conversation with interesting people too. That way you won’t become a robot with no interpersonal communication skills.

Remember, that before computers there were people!

I didn’t get her name-( because I have my Galaxy Note 4 plugged into Bluetooth speaker and I’m usually listening to the believe Life channel on doing something else listening and I don’t necessarily see the captions into the speakers that are that are announced on it but it allows me to do things that otherwise would have been boring or I might put up and then I can listen to it while I’m doing before you know it the tour gets done or the thing gets done but I can be empowered while I’m doing it patterns mundane things throughout the day or travel time into something that’s empowering. But I will go back and try to find out who the person was that said this. She said to everyday write down 40 things that you.)

I ask you my extraordinary followers to also describe in one word What You Are.

You can add as many one word positive descriptions as you like but have them be positive. Give some thought on this and pick words that you think about who you are and what your about.

    Benjamin Franklin’s Epitaph

Before Benjamin Franklin died he suggested this Epitaph for himself:

    image

    image

    image

    image

    image

” The body of Benjamin Franklin, printer,
(Like the cover of an old book,
    Its contents worn out,
And stript of its lettering and gilding)
    Lies here, food for words!
Yet the work itself shall not be lost,
For it will, as he believed appear once more,
    In the new
    And More Beautiful edition,
    Corrected and amended
    By its Author!

-From The Dictionary of Biographical Quotations eds. Richard Kenin and Justin Wintle, 1978.

What matters is what we live now in the present because that’s her gift to herself. What would you put on your epitaph if you were told you’d only have a week longer to live? How’s that for a deep probing question? Let’s make a no matter so that we can say that we accomplished what we wanted to, and the time that we wanted to for all the reasons that we wanted to.

Excerpt from ” The Oxford Book of American Literary Antidotes edited by Donald Hall.

“Jim Carrey’s Top 10 Rules For Success” & P. Motzko’s Commentary-From Vision to Living The Dream

” Jim Carrey is a Visionary and uses very empowering visualisations to have propelled himself from being homeless – but with very detailed dreams and goals of what he wanted his life to be- to living his dreams and a success story.

He now speaks in front of large groups of people at universities giving them advice on how to live, and telling them what he’s learned.
After you finish speaking he makes people feel like they can do anything- and with the right mindset you can.

You know you’re a leader and you know you’re doing something right when you can show others new ways of thinking and show them that they possessed inside what they sought all along.

I know as a piano teacher, I know a student will do well just because they have music inside their soul; it’s like its hard-wired in their system. I already know the students going to be successful before I even start teaching them.

Gifted Hands by Ben Carson- The Ben Carson Story:Read This Book!

    image

I bought this book 2 weeks after Christmas last year. It was on the best-seller rack at Barnes and Noble in Summerlin. What an extraordinary person Ben Carson is! Of all the people running for the Office of the President of the USA, I wish he had won. Extraordinary things would have happened, had he been in a position to change things for us all.
He would have made choices that benefited everybody.

From the back of the book:

“Ben Carson is a professor of neurosurgery, plastic surgery, oncology and Pediatrics, and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins medical institutions. He’s also the author of other best-selling books – think big, and the big picture. He serves on the corporate Boards of the Kellogg Company, Costco Wholesale Corp., and America’s promise, among others, and is an Emeritus fellow of the Yale Corporation. He and his wife, candy, are the parents of three grown sons and live in Baltimore County, Maryland.”

“5 Ways to Improve your COMMUNICATION Skills – #BelieveLife” on YouTube with Commentary by Paulette L Motzko, Totally Inspired Mind

What an awesome 25 minute video from the Believe channel by Evan Carmichael.

The first presenter speaks of the key points of communication and he uses an acronym “HAIL” which stands for Honesty, Authenticity , Integrity and Love.

Very well done! Those are huge things I value in life. ALL THE PEOPLE I ASSOCIATE WITH MUST possess those qualities. That is a prerequisite with me.
If they do not, I simply don’t associate with them.

Life is too short to hang with crows or buzzards when you can soar with the eagles instead.

After YOU ARE 18 years old, you have the right to choose who you associate with.

If your family member is malicious or doesn’t have your best interest in mind, or is just psychologically messed up and causes havoc in your life– you simply don’t need to be around them.

I have a few family members like that. You can’t exchange family members like a bad poker hand, but you can simply walk away from the game and let them play by themselves.

When I was about 6 years old I remember mom saying ” who you are around is what you become.”
So, when looked at things in that context, becomes very easy to weed people out of your life and be more selective.

For instance, when I used to do gardening in my last house in Orange before my divorce, I remember putting this stuff called Preen my flower box with the geraniums, gladiolus, daffodils and Lily of the Nile. It helped to prevent weeds. Yes prevent them. It made it so I didn’t have to sit there breaking my back tending the soil the next day. Even though the stuff cost a fair amount of money, all I had to do was put it on once a month and it saved me work.

Bad people are like weeds and they can infiltrate your life with snuggled edges, and pollute your mind with bad thoughts, colorful language that you really shouldn’t be using, because when you’re around someone that does something over and over again it tends to rub off on you.

If you set high standards in your life and associate with flowers who help you bloom too, the garden called your life will always bloom.

If you compare bad people to weeds- people who possess the opposite of the qualities outlined in the acronym HAIL, it becomes very easy to not let them take over your pretty flower garden… otherwise known as your world. Your life, like a flower garden, blooms in direct proportion to what you plant.

    image

    image

Images photographs and created by Paulette L Motzko, PLM Studios, Las Vegas, Nevada Copyright 2015 and 2016

Let every one of the people in your life bloom on their own. People who share a common denometer with you, naturally help you bloom to the most of your ability…because they are blooming themselves and are happy with where they are in life. Conversely, people who aren’t happy in life, and who only bring negative things to the forefront, are people who will usually try to drag you down to their low existence.

    Don’t let them do it.

The most important things to me are honesty, integrity, tactfulness, of course- because you don’t just want to say anything that comes to your mind in the sake of being honest to somebody.

All these things put together build your reputation. Your reputation is what you’re going to leave when you’re not here anymore and that’s what people will remember most about you.

It’s not how many cars you have in the driveway, it’s not how fancy your Gucci bag is, but simply how you treat other people and how you made them feel when they were around you.

Those things form who you become in life and who people know you to be.

That really is what matters to me in life. I hope you enjoy this YouTube video I’ve got to find out how to reach Evan Carmichael that does all of these extraordinary “Believe” YouTube videos because they are the best I’ve ever seen.

You have my Paulette Le Pore Motzko Seal of Approval on that Mr Evan Carmichael.

I’ve would love to meet Evan Carmichael one day and congratulate him on an outstanding collection of YouTube videos.

I don’t know how he does it but the finish product is pretty extraordinary.

With my blog Totally Inspired Mind I wanted to contribute something extraordinary and put it out of the universe and then get other like-minded people to join it. It started with a vision and then it became reality in a few hours when I created the blog in a hotel room. Now five years later about a hundred countries read this and now I am going to monetizing it. Currently my payment is sharing what I feel us quality content that is remembered and shared.
I aspire to communicate using the HAIL principles outlined in this YouTube video of honesty, authenticity, integrity and love always.

Google Talk The Global Translation Chat App & & Paulette Motzko’s Thrill of Discovery

I learn many things new through the course of my day everyday. I have always had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, even since I was a small child at 4 years old, learning to read, and then learning phonetics. I learned the meanings of the prefixes and suffixes when I was 6 years old.
I learned the value of a book and the extraordinary concepts within each cover, and libraries became one of my favorite places, and still are.

    image

Hot off the press I just created this image to go with this story from a photo I took in Vista, CA about three years ago now.

Photography & Digital Arts by Paulette Motzko

There was never a dumb question around our house and every night around the kitchen table, before we would eat dinner we would bless the food, thank God for everything we had, and look at each other and thank God we had each other. How I wish it was that way today. But people change and so you change with it.

My dad would ask everyone what we learned that day. He would go one by one, and ask each one of us who’s the most extraordinary thing we learned that day. If we didn’t learn anything he would say “go pick up a book” or “how are you doing in school” and things like that.

Every night at dinner time we would sit around our table and we would share what we had learned that day.

Yes, how I wish life was like a projector that you could go back in time and make my siblings remember when they had a heart and soul, but that’s not how life works. Change is the only thing we can count on and those who adapt the best do the best.

Yes, we sat around with a painted picnic table that was painted by my mother and communicated with each other, laughed, my brothers told jokes, and we were there in the moment.

Our family couldn’t afford a kitchen table like the kind they sold in a furniture store, but being the industrious people that the Le Pores are, my dad bought a picnic table that my mother painted white.

As always mom had this way of creating something out of nothing, and when she was done, the table was painted and varnished and had a really pretty flower arrangement on the top of it.

She then bought some yellow gingham sheets that she found on sale, and transformed them into beautiful drapes for our huge kitchen windows.

25 years later, after my parents sold that first house they bought for a mere $20,000 and sold it for $100,000 years later, those drapes are still there. People did not want to take them down and loved them and bragged about how beautiful they were. It was my secret, that they’ll never know they were made out of sheets.

These remain to this day some of the most Stellar memories I have of my childhood.

My Nanny always told us a family who prays together stays together. It’s something she swore by. It was imprinted on the Rosary she prayed on everyday that glowed in the dark. Her words to this day have lit some of my darkest days much like her rosary beads glowed up in the dark as she prayed Hail Marys.

    image

We prayed together then and stood by each other. It’s just too bad, my older siblings sold their integrity getting the profits of my parent’s huge duplex, after my dad’s death. My brother in law was like Hitler as power of attorney and and my siblings fell for his half cocked, uncompassionate and unfair treatment of both myself and my mother with Alzheimer’s disease. I was the only one who looked out for her it seemed and spoke for her with a voice she no longer possessed.

    image

We could see each other, side by side, and when my dad made money selling major appliances and the table went outside…we sat farther apart. Then the house began to be filled with state of the art TV’s and a huge stereo. The television was on more and we talked less.

I saw this big solid maple, fancy kitchen table being delivered with big clunky, heavy chairs I couldn’t lift, and we sat apart from each other. I liked the picnic table better.

    image

Necessity creates innovation and ingenuity. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life are some of the poorest. They know how to do it, that they know how to be industrious, and they know as I’ve learned, to do without and make do with what they had.
They have more compassion for others in the same situation.

    Back to reading and knowledge..

Mom read it to me everyday, and my sister bought me Golden Books that I read, each one of them looking at the pictures and being immersed in the stories, sounding out the words.

If I didn’t know what the words were, we all played a game where I would figure out what the word meant by taking the prefixes and saying what it meant. Most of time I would get it right with a little fine-tuning. That would add to my vocabulary everyday.

When I knew how easy it was and the extraordinary potential that a person would possess if they could read, assimilate and have the command of the English language, the world was my Pearl.

Like Helen Keller having Anne Sullivan spelling out the word
w-a-t-e-r in her hand in sign language, she knew everything had a meaning.

Mom was my Anne Sullivan, especially as an unpopular kid recently diagnosed at 9 with epilepsy. There was no such word as bullying in school; kids just did it and nobody cared or did anything. Apathy to the max in the school systems.

9 WAS A PIVOTAL AGE FOR ME. LIFE DEALT ME ONE CURSE EPILEPSY BUT IT ALSO BROUGHT A PIANO IN THE HOUSE AND MUSIC, THEN MY LOVE OF COOKING EMERGED AND WRITING WAS SOON TO FOLLOW. IF GOD WAS A CARD DEALER THE DECK WAS STACKED IN MY FAVOR AT A VERY YOUNG AGE.
I just took until I’m almost 55 just see it that way.

    image

Paulette Anne Le Pore at 9 playing a song I composed called “My Melody” after mom showed me 4 chords and Nanny explained how the pedals worked……

In 3rd grade at Show and Tell I Showed and demonstrated to my class what the piano did by playing all the songs I wrote. Bringing in bullfrog were boring to me!

Every thing ever built or ever created has a name. The more we understand what those things are the more we can understand our place in the world. Also, the more languages that we speak the more than we can understand others and their cultures and find a common denominator within the two.

As in most days I don’t quite ever know what I’m writing but I never worry about it; I just write.

People who put on the editors cap and are over critical too early in the creative process or worry about what other people think of what they do– never do anything because the creative process is squelched.

Create because you think it has merit, or you think it’s beautiful. It doesn’t matter that the world doesn’t think it’s beautiful or does think its extraordinary. Create it because you feel your artwork is in the very essence of your soul waiting to escape like a butterfly in a meadow and you want to share the reverie with others…and the people in the world are the flowers in the field.

    image

you know it is that’s why are you think I can help somebody or you feel it’s good. And once you create something you throw it out in the universe and you hope it touches the lives of people and inspires them or shows them a new way. When it does then it’s extraordinary because then it’s a triple win. It’s the people whose viewpoint on what you do make what you write and every word you hand chisel come alive.

When I was a small child I held a book in my hand with a feeling as though I had the whole world in the palm of my hand. I also knew there was so much more available to me and I was just touching a small microcosmic particle of the knowledge available in the World.

Now have a century later, with me at 54 years young, I hold my Galaxy Note 4 phablet with over 100 apps on it, ebooks, over 5,000 high definition photos, and programs I used to have on a clunky big computer that I recently sold. I installed Microsoft Office and MS Word, allowing me to create documents with vocal recognition software for the first time in my life.

You’re talking about a person who types eighty words a minute but can now type with this new technology. My phablet types for me and I edit. History breaking stuff. Pretty cool, huh?

Thanks to engineers, and IT specialist and computer scientists who created the internet systems with satellites in the sky like my ex-husband the rocket scientist help put up with Boeing, we can do things that we never ever thought possible.

I’m old enough and I’ve seen both sides and it is all pretty extraordinary.

I have had this Google Talk app on my phone for better part of a year and I didn’t know that it was a translating device that I could talk to people in their native language in any part of the world for free.

Now that’s a huge piece of info because I have over 800 friends on Facebook and many of them were in Italy, Thailand and the Philippines and Africa. I can learn their language by using it and that’s what’s so extraordinary about it. It comes in handy for business as well.

I can learn figures of speech in in their language, adding color to my writing. This matters to me. I have some baker friends who are artisan bakers in France and I would love to know and understand more of the French language and the pronunciation of how the words sound. Google Talk helps with that.

I hope that this article made you look at the world little differently. If it did, that makes me really happy and that is the coolest thing in the world.

When you change someone’s mind or you Enlighten them to a new fact that they didn’t know,
You’re in essence opening a magic door to new horizons that were unexplored before. I hope you can use some of this in your life, that you find new ways of thinking brings subtle changes in your life.

Maybe it’s raining in your life with problems now, or maybe it’s literally raining like it is here in Las Vegas, NV.

No matter what, figurative or literal, the sun’s rays will be awaiting you on the other side of the storm.

Know you are never alone and as you journey through life God is walking by your side like your Mighty Partner.

The storm clouds will eventually lift and the sun will peer through the clouds again.

Watch “Mel Blanc: The Man of a Thousand Voices” on YouTube

If you want to laugh or smile watch this. I was born in 1961 and so I grew up watching cartoons with Mel Blanc and his extraordinary voice, but I didn’t realize that all the voices on Looney Tunes it came from him!
I didn’t know him or see his face until much later on interviews.

This was hands down the best thing I’ve seen on YouTube in my life in my humble opinion.

Parts of this brought tears into my eyes and in other parts I marveled at how he built the characters and the animators animated around his voice.

He acted out the characters which I didn’t know, which explains why they sound so incredibly true to life when you hear them all on the old Looney Tunes cartoons.

If you’re a kid in this day and age and you haven’t heard one of them, go find an old Looney Tunes cartoon done in the 1960’s, about the time I was born, at the nearest movie store.

Also on the old Looney Tunes shows the musicians in the way it was produced with the orchestrations was a big part of it too because they orchestrated the cartoon adding drama just at the right times. The producers were geniuses on those Warner Brother cartoons. Nothing I’ve seen today impresses me as much. There’s no cartoon in history that’s ever done like the Looney Tunes was.

It was really more of an adult cartoon when I look at it.

I’m going to be 55 years young come August, (I am one of these women that doesn’t care about saying how old I am because I’m holding up pretty good and I don’t care.)

What an extraordinary human being Mel Blanc was and I applaud him for going to burn centers and giving joy and hope to countless children.

in the words of Mel Blanc don’t do anything for work unless you really love doing it and if you do love it won’t even be like work at all.

I grew up at a time in the sixties when CGI didn’t exist, when cell phones didn’t exist, when you had to look something up in the Encyclopedia Britannica to really look it up, and you had to go to the library and look up books using the ISBN number or the Dewey Decimal System. And in regards to Google, we’ll it just wasn’t invented yet.

The Internet hadn’t been invented or the satellite systems that would make it a realty. It was  something out in the cosmos waiting to be invented by ITT computer scientists so people like my ex-husband the rocket scientist would help send satellites up with Boeing on the Delta rocket putting satellites in the sky that made it work.

Here’s to simpler times and two extraordinary voices and extraordinary people like Mel Blanc women animators really drew the animation that you saw on the screen frame by frame.

So carve out a little over an hour and enjoy!

Prayer is not the overcoming of God’s reluctance, but the taking hold of God’s willingness. Phillip Brooks

This is on the inside cover of a book that I carry around with me every day and say certain portions of it that I’ve marked with a Post-It notes called “Handle with Prayer” by Alan Cohen.

    image

I found my copy for a dollar fifty at a book sale in a Friends of The Library sale in southern California, with coffee stains all over the cover and scribbles on the inside, but I didn’t care. I could see the merit of the wonderful book without even reading it. One’s trash is another treasure.

    image

The cover was beat up and damaged so I covered it with cat stickers because if I ever had a pet again it would be a cat. The stickers give me joy, make the cover look a little better and strike up conversations from passers by who see me reading it.

It’s published by Hay House Publishers.

    I recommend it to anybody.

It’s a fantastic book then we’ll have you thinking in more positive ways and transforming your ideas about prayer, God, what you can do and accomplish and a host of other things.

Alan Cohen has written I believe over 20 books.

The ISBN number on this book handle with prayer is:

    ISBN 1 – 56170 – 467 – 9 hardcover

This book is classified as prayer and self-realization and religious aspects.

My strength did not come from lifting weights. My strength came from lifting myself up and I was knocked down.

This is my favorite one of the year end of last year because that’s exactly what I did in my life over the last year.
It has been, and will continue to be probably my most positively transformative year in my life. It has also been one of the most exhausting physically.

Quote of the Day From Sasha Sagan, Carl Sagan’s Daughter

This is part of an extraordinary essay written by Sasha Sagan, Carl Sagan’s daughter. In her very eloquent, extraordinary writing her brilliant parents passed on their intelligence to her as an everlasting gift.
She sees the world as I do- which is we are all connected on this planet, and what counts is the present, because that is all we are guaranteed. The more we work together to sustain THE EARTH, and preserve the oceans and allow it to flourish. . .instead of destroying it…the better we all will be….now and in the future.

In life we never know what we are getting and what kinds of blessings or tragedies may befall. You can only stack the deck in your favor so when the hand is played you come close to winning.

If every one of you reading this sentence could realize that nobody on earth was dealt a perfect life, then maybe you won’t feel so isolated or sad, just knowing you are not the only one. Everybody on the bus every day I see has their own joys, family, friends and struggles. Just because you don’t know them, don’t fool yourself. Problems in life don’t omit anyone, no matter how much money you make. Often the richest people have the most screwed up lives. They have no idea what to do with all their money and have lost the ability to enjoy simple things. They spend their lives trying new drugs and paying for expensive thrills that leave them flat and uninspired.

As a child who was disabled and went through a merry-go-round-of medicine for epilepsy before I got to the one that worked when I was fourteen-years-old.

I learned big words and related to teachers better than my classmates who made fun of me because I was different. All the things I went through in my early years toughened me up to be a soldier of life and an ambassador of compassion and good will who can related to everyone with a cane, in a wheelchair and who strives each day to know health firsthand and independence.

Even though in life you may have looked at hell in the eye like I did and been through moments where you nearly died; remember you made it out the other end.

A visualization to picture your mind that I created after going through one of the worst year and a half of my life is:

I can see myself walking through a huge hoop of fire and coming out the other end transformed, stronger, and smarter and where ingenuity is in my DNA. After helping my parents pay their house payment thrown the span of 15 years and being betrayed by my siblings I grew up with; it redefined my existence.

We were once a good family, not a perfect family, but we were never an apathetic, hate filled family. There was so much negative dynamics going on between my older siblings and that no matter if my mother needed help, if I could have done over again, I would have looked out for number one and that is all, and got the hell out of there. I can see that in retrospect and wish I would done that, but if I had mom wouldn’t have anyone who gave a damn and she wouldn’t be in the senior home she is now.

The things you learn in life gaining wisdom are vast.

What have you learned in life?

Are there lessons you can pass on to others?

What is a lesson you learned that you can pass on to another to make their path smoother, watching out for rocks and boulders?

You see, when you do without you learn to compromise. You learn how to substitute and you truly get to know what it is like to live on a bargain basement existence that only those who frequent places like The 99 Cents Store, Dollar General remembering numerous times since moving to Nevada and having my SSI cut by $150 a month-times when I couldn’t afford anything in the dollar store!

What I do know out of the tragic and almost mind boggling callous and low class way I was treated in the end of making great sacrifices for my mom and financially helping my dad by living on the duplex he was still making payments on after 2001. I learned that there are people who look like a human being but are missing a soul and a conscious; my siblings fit that description. I only hope that they regret it one day. I know I did the best I could in spite of going through adversity myself. In other words, we are only responsible for ourselves and there comes a point where all the talking in the world isn’t going to change things.

    image

Move on. Look back and accept what you did and embrace the choices you made.

Just because you were betrayed doesn’t mean you have betray someone else. Just because you were hit, doesn’t mean you have to hit someone else. Someone else’s cold heart doesn’t have to be yours and shouldn’t be yours.

Why the Lord allows good people to go through hell none of us will know, especially when their hearts and souls are good.

In life what matters most is for you to not focus on the dark aspects or “shadows” in your life. Look at the “bright spots” that sparkle like Orion on a clear night in the desert. Keep the friends who have become family; they are your new family.

    image

Just because you are related to someone doesn’t give them the right to be in your life. To have the right someone has to treat you with dignity and respect. If those elements are missing, then you really don’t need the person in your life.

Remember, every negative person drags you down. Every positive person lifts you and your spirits up.
You want to be dragged down to the nether world, or do you want to keep people around you who also set their aspirations on high and noble things. Forget the rest.
I pray to meet people who are kind, caring, compassionate who care about the world around them and who care about children, the environment and the world issues.
Here is a cool visual for you: I also pray to NOT MEET negative, pessimistic people and to avoid or REPEL people with rotten intentions people just like water droplets on Vaseline.
What story will you retell people?

Will it be a triumphant one? A Courageous One? An Extraordinary One?

Make the things you say be as amazing as yourself, because the spoken word is what people will remember about you.

Do you want to be a mina bird of the same, sad story or do you want to force yourself to grow, find the wisdom in your pain and to help people they are not alone.

If pain and suffering has to be, let it be transformed to bring someone up from their aloneness.
I hope this 1,534 word story does just that. Come out of your cave and light the light and let it shine on only the good and the great. No matter what your faith, don’t lose hope and never quit believing the good and just win. And even if they don’t “win” they show everybody in the world how they can! After all, people are only winners or losers in their minds. What you think you are you will be.
I hope every word changes your minds, and transforms your spirit and helps you think about the experiences you have gone through and how you carry them around.
Troubles can be on your shoulders like lead weights or you can problem solve, pray and meditate and gain insight. To do that you need solitude and uninterrupted time so you can think. When was the last time you gave yourself that gift? It is through self-introspection that you grow and transform into something greater.
Learn to journal and write every day your innermost feelings. At first at will feel awkward doing it, but it will come more naturally with time. In time you will look forward to it. Make it a minimum of 30 minutes. Go to a library where you can be guaranteed to not be bothered and where it is quiet enough you can hear yourself think. Preferably have nobody see it but you and God and your soul.
In your first journal book entry: make a list of all the things you are thankful for this moment.
Now make a list of things you need to work on to be happier and feel better.
Number them and create a plan of action.
Make the most of what you have now. If you want more, work for it all and enjoy what you have NOW. This time will never come again. When you are 85 ladies you will think you look like pretty hot now! Hey guys, tell your mom and dad you love them, they won’t be around forever. I am reminded that our time on this extraordinary earth is limited. Make the most of your travels here.

It is only then that you can take what were problems and setbacks and throw them in the sea and watch the seagulls take them away to the wild blue.
Put some beautiful and inspiring music on iheart.com radio or Pandora.com and get in touch with who you really are. When you do that, you will find you have way more going for you but you just overlooked what you were given.

Life Lessons or (These Things Shouldn’t Have Happened) by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

    The Lessons of My Life

Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

    Copyright December 14th, 15th, 2013

As I was sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus that never came….I was thinking about the many events of this past week-some turbulent and some disappointing and then the things that worked out great that I was responsible for-which are always great.

In life there are times when what we envision is not what it turns out to be. In my case mine is a tragic story that I am determined to make a happy ending.

Let me set the scene for you: It is 2010 and I am recently divorced after a marriage to a real rocket scientist for 15 years. I graduated with honors in a Master’s Certification program in 1997 a few years before with a Master’s Certification in Voluntary Leadership. I was a presenter at The Summit Meeting that year as the CEO and Founder of The Epilepsy Connection. It was one of the high points in my life “proving a lady who is disabled with epilepsy could do the work” as Dick Cheshire had put it when he let me in the program and said I had the Life Experience for the program. At the beginning of the program I told the class of 50 people that “a friend of mine had epilepsy and the subject has always been near and dear to my heart and I knew I could help others who had it.” I did a PowerPoint Presentation with transparencies on an overhead projector that my now ex-husband Mark helped me with, answering what epilepsy was and was not, and explaining in human terms that anyone at any age could acquire it.

    image

Once the presentation was over and I had answered everybody’s questions I told them that “oh by the way, the friend of mine was me!” People looked shocked at me and many stopped in their tracks and others came up to me with tears in their eyes and gave me the once over with their eyes and then smiled and said to me-“I never would have known!” I was so happy as that is just what I was shooting for. I didn’t tell anyone beforehand because I didn’t anyone having any preconceived notions about me or any biases and I thought it would best illustrate that anyone with epilepsy can do anything by being the prime example.

Another high point of my life was when I lived in Sandy, UT and times were great, not just good.

It was 1986 and I was just married, graduated with my AA in Piano Pedagogy and was building piano students and teaching all the Mormon kids on the block. One wonderful lady who went by the nick name of Friendly Robertson who was years young. She wanted to teach her how to play Chopin Nocturnes in a legato manner. I still have a handwritten book she gave me that with poems she wrote and songs she gave me in my piano bench.  The best memory of my piano teaching days-that lasted 20 years-was when I got a call from Golden West College who asked if they could give my number to The Deaf Children’s Athletic Association. They asked me if I could teach two acutely deaf children piano. I had no idea if I could by the way. I asked how if they had residual hearing-and they did, and each wore two hearing aids to magnify what hearing they had. Justin and Adrienne Chang were their names and they were Japanese prodigies. Their father’s dream was to see their children play songs at a recital. I made that dream and my dream come true. At a recital in Riverdale, Utah they each played 3 songs a piece that I had taught them by signing everything I said to them and also signing the concept of what I said and “turning the audible to visual”….

Seeing someone’s inherent abilities and talents is something I have always been good at, but then my mom was always doing that with me. It is like I can see someone’s inherent abilities lying dormant in their soul, much like the tulip bulbs I planted in Sandy, Utah when I lived there.

I learned in life that some things you only get to enjoy for a while-be it many years or for decades and then they fade like the geraniums mom used to grow needing to be deadheaded of their brown leaves…

Other facets of my life are and will always be the same, like my mother Ramona Lea. She is still my best friend, my cheerleader and a smart, sweet lady, who though she has Alzheimer’s disease, will guarantee to light up a room with her smile and win over even the dullest of personalities. I saw her paint smiles on people’s faces in The World Market. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish her the best and that I don’t want the best for her and pray she always remembers me and that the disease doesn’t take my mother away. She inspired me to create “Ramona’s Alzheimer’s Disease Daily” that has about 40 new sources on it with subject like neurology, neuroscience, memory, prevention, caregivers and dementia.

Back to The Lesson of My Life-

After my divorce in 2001 I opted to move back in the duplex I had lived in when I was 24 years old, when my dad bought it because he thought the second house would make a nice rental for me. It did just that for the most part and I got rent and I paid most of the mortgage on their house.

I would have never believed that the same family that I grew up with had the ability to make such rash and callous decisions about my mother’s life and mine.

    But they did.

    image

One of the expensive recliners belonging to my parents Bunker and the gang hacked with an ax because they were too lazy and stupid to sell them and give the money to mom Ramona Le Pore. Sooooo sad!

I cried for weeks after seeing the mass destruction on what Mike Bunker, Brenda Bunker, Michael Le Pore and Robert Le Pore allowed to happen.

Mike Bunker and my brother Mike hacked up with an ax an oak rocking chair I bought mom for mother’s day! I am related to crazy people!

    image

Mom’s things in her beautiful house thrown all around the sides of it!

    image

My side of the duplex bought in 1984 and sold my Mike Bunker in June of 2013 for $460,000.
I paid approx $50,000 in rent during that 13 year period.

Hey lawyers…help me here. I know I am entitled to something here.

I would have never believed that they had could take mom from the property as though they abducted her from her own domicile, forcing me to file a missing person’s report. But they did have the audacity.

    But the shocked me.

They betrayed me-and I have thought long and hard about the actions of my other siblings, and how their hypocritical actions over the last 5 years illustrates how apathetic and what small human beings they really are.

Mom, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease is a victim of elder abuse just as I was and still am. I am not a senior yet, being 3 years short of being classified a “senior” by the state of CA. I am therefore excluded from countless senior programs that would help me.

I did not create my family but they had the same foundation as I did, but their ideologies and beliefs were distorted over time. I did not change who I was and the strongholds of my belief system I have held onto with an iron-clad grip: integrity, honesty, passion and courage.

Some have it all and don’t even tap into the reserves and talents they were given. Others like myself, defied the odds and though diagnosed with epilepsy went on and was successful as a piano teacher.

I would be a piano teacher now if my upright grand wasn’t in storage! Being on ssi I am entitled to earn money and still collect it, to a certain point. I made $200 per student a month or $50 an hour. I taught nearly every kid in Sandy, Utah by them merely seeing the piano being rolled in our living room. The usual questions were:

    1. Do you play piano?
    2. Do you teach
    3. How much do you charge?
    4. I have —- kids and when can we start?

Then the cycle begins and their kids will learn how to play a song within a week, learn how to read sheet music, stage, ear training and theory plus presence, confidence etc.
With my piano in storage it is like having my hands tied behind my back! I have lost income and gained stress culminating with a diagnosis of PTSD!

Do I use the state of CA for stress and my diagnosis of PTSD, a year of hell, money that I used to have paid on hotels because with only $886 a month in ssi, all the greedy people who rent rooms in southern CA want $600 to $800 to live in their bedrooms? That leaves me with not enough to pay my phone bill and internet and storage bills.

I put an ad on supershopper.org and Craig’s List to exchange one of the many valid services for a room in a non smoking household where I could cook and clean for a family. No worthwhile responses only 3 men ages 25, 48 and 50 who wanted casual sex for a place to live of which I said NO.

I told the 25 year old, who had a girl friend, to look up the word integrity and STDs.

It is a sad state of affairs that you have to be diagnosed with something like depression or PTSD before programs and housing programs open up for you!

I went to Huntington Beach Hospital last night and took myself via bus. I couldn’t find any of my friends that would either answer their phones or who would even answer a text back! That did not impress me, by the way!

I made it down there because I suspected that something was terribly wrong with me, and I was 100% right. Like all my assumptions, after doing research on the topic, I am usually 99% correct. I was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder by the doctor that talked to me for the longest time.

I asked him to shut the door and then just told him the key points that had happened to me over the last year. He told me that I was amazingly strong and I should be proud of everything I had been through.

I was stressed out and felt as though the stress was accumulating like the water on top of a – cooler in my bathroom in Utah-that eventually caused the ceiling to tumble down when my now-ex-husband and I went to dinner. We went out to dinner and when we came home water was coming down from the smoke detector like a waterfall-just missing my upright grand piano! The most amazing part of the ceiling blowing out and falling down because Mark didn’t turn the swamp cooler off for the winter-was that in the Victorian bathroom, the ceiling fell down to the rafters and all the bisque porcelain figurines in there were not broken, and a pair of antique bisque praying hands were standing up in the bath tub straight up!

I resent that after doing everything right and choosing NOT to smoke or drink or do drugs all my life that there are no support services available for someone like myself.

I want to be the first intelligent white lady with no kids who refused to be treated like a second class citizen because I knew what birth control was and the real facts of life at 9 years old. (I grew up early and wanted real answers and not the stork story!)
More women should be responsible and accountable for their actions where sex and birth control are concerned. There are far too many illegitamate kids being “raised” without fathers to mothers who are 16 years old.
It has become quite a scam having kids to “get the $800 a month” per kid. I was told by countless social workers at the Garden Grove Medical and Food Stamp office to “get a kid and you will get $100!” I love kids, couldn’t have kids for medical reasons-epilepsy- but thought of adopting when I was married but we thought the $20,000 fees were outrageous..so we didn’t.

All the housing programs go to families first and I am not a family, so I am disregarded as though invisible.

I am not envisible or non-existant.

They should put a sign on the front of the Medical office and welfare office that reads: “if you are single or divorced and you don’t have a child we don’t care about you, your life and how you survive financially.” That is the truth.

It took me 7 years to get Medical at the Garden Grove office. When my new medicines Vimpat $20 a pill and Tegretol over $300 a month were forcing me to sell things to afford it, I put two and two together and realized all the people who turned me down were Vietnamese with the last name Nguyen. I had been told a bogus statement that I needed a kid to get medical, which was false. I threatened to sue all the parties personally for FRAUD to the director of the director and got the director named Barbara to fax my information to Sacramento labeled URGENT and had my medicine paid for $100 in a week.

    Why this fight though?

Racial discimination against white people exists in Orange County, especially in Garden Grove and Little Saigon.
I am American and among the things I want to do is to crack down on this kind of abuse. An article was in the Walls Street Journal last year how in Vietnam they brag how they take advantage and abuse our welfare system in the USA.

I don’t hate Vietnamese people but I hate racist people and I am the victim of a hate crime that gave preferential treatment to the Vietnamese. I was told in Garden Grove by over 20 Vietnamese they “didn’t want a white piano teacher!” When I heard that I was appauled and shocked and outraged, as I still am now.

I became a displaced worker because of their hatred and bias and stupidity and would probably still have an income stream. I do writing, marketing and photography now with CARestaurantShowCase.com and do what I can.

Our house was a beautiful six bedroom Cape Cod style house with dormer windows and 3 bathrooms. The place was so big that we had my sister and her husband and three kids over and rented beds for all of them. I had a regular bed and breakfast and at that time they were normal and nice people and didn’t have a bad or malicious streak at all. That was to come later down the line when I divorced. Their care for me was in direct proportion to how much money I made a year. My best friends and when I lovingly invited them all to massive parties where I wanted to create memories –not just dinner parties. I did. And though they all have selective memory now, remembering only what they want to-it happened.

In time the bathroom was rebuilt and it after builders came and remodeled, you would have never known anything happened. Thank heaven we had good insurance with State Farm!

How can someone change like a chameleon that magnifies the colors of its surroundings? A counselor can ask them for years what did it-jealousy, envy or just caring more about money and making a quick profit than to mom’s feelings or mine. I think that was it.

I have no idea where I am going with this story here, but it makes me feel better writing it. Once a person becomes an adult at 18 years of age it is their choice who they keep in their life.

When I was moving, I thought and then rethought again everything I wrapped up in a box. I got so tired of packing and it amazed me how much “stuff” I had collected over my 52 years young!

I had read a book on simplifying your life and scaling down what I owned before I made the move to prepare me to take only what I loved and what made me smile when I looked at it. Ask yourself if you love it enough to dust it. You might be surprised what your answers are.

That is the same motto I take to the people in my life. Do they make you smile? Do they bring you up? Support your dreams? If you answer “yes” to all those questions, then you have a keeper there. If you answered one “no” then you better rethink how that person fits into your life.

If you have people in your life that have withered and turned into people who are abusive and tear you down, then if you have tried discussing with them the problems but nothing seems to work, then remove them from you life. You will suffer if you don’t.

After 1653 words were typed I am going to sign off and leave you with these words of wisdom. Think about what you would like to hear when you say something to someone else.

Everybody please pray that Paulette Le Pore Motzko gets the housing voucher she needs to afford a nice place of her own here in CA. Also, if you want to write a congressman or influential person in CA to put pressure on them, be my guest! The most who speak out about something, the more likely things will CHANGE. Also, go beyond me and write your local congressmen and women to add more funding to the Urban Housing Authority’s HUD Housing Program so more vouchers can be created. A ten year wait is a joke and an insult to the intelligence of every person on SSI and SSDI. We don’t want to see displaced disabled people at the bus stops and trying to take care of themselves, along with veterans, who are in the same “boat”, if you will.

I learned to take care of yourself first and make sure you are alright and have what you need, and then you will be more apt to have strength reserves to take care of everybody else.

Write you congressmen and women and contact The Urban Housing Authority in the State of CA in Sacramento, and in The Urban Housing Authority in the largest city in your state. Write and tell what you see in the streets, get involved and watch your efforts blossom into better lives for all people.

For now until today at least until this morning, for a week I was staying at The Super 8 Hotel in Westminster, CA which for he money at $65 a night is one o the nicest, cleanest places around-if you have to “live in a hotel” and can’t afford Residence Inn-with full kitchens, like Boeing used to pay for when I was married.

The way things change is to SHOW THE TRUTH and MAKE PEOPLE CARE.

I took photos of my hotel room and intended on creating  story that would include and show how I was living since evicted in April 2012 by Mike Bunker.

He needs someone to cultivate a moral conscious and explain why what he did was wrong and still is wrong, since he has cut all communication between mom and I for a year.

Thank you Ron Bittelari for sending me the money to make staying here possible. You are even more generous and caring than my ex was.

I have the most kind caring friends.

Do you know anyone who also has been working on getting subsidized housing?

    What is your story?

We can team up and work together to put pressure on our leaders who keep saying with a blank expression “there is a 10 year wait for more housing vouchers.” What are we supposed to do until then?

If you make too much $ then you risk losing medical. Silly rules, if you ask me.

There is a song by Kelly Clarkson called “Stronger” that is my mantra and perfectly describes me and what God has felt it necessary for me to go through along with the poor social workers, welfare programs and lies told to me by Vietnamese workers in both the Garden Grove Medical office and social security offices.

If you are caucasion on ssi or ssdi, on medical or are trying to get one of those benefits, what would you think if I told you I was lied to 100% of the time by 100% of the Vietnamese in the welfare system? I was.

    It happened.

That is not a racial comment as I still have Vietnamese friends who admit the abuse goes on but they speak English and know many put them in a bad light.

For those on ssi and ssdi or medical be leary and be alert. I personally now, after being lied to, suffering, doing without and living a substandard existence because of false information given by Vietnamese people now will not allow them to wait on me.

I was married to a rocket scientist for 15 years and I use logic. I try to increase the odds of being successful to 100% in everything I do. If you know something hasn’t worked, then don’t do it again. If you know that by doing something else, it increases your odds of accomplishing something, by all means do it.

People get upset when I say this, but it is fact. Abuse happens until it happens with me, then it stops for good and I also set mendates so it never happens again.

I would reccomend going to the Santa Ana Social Security office because they have a wide demographic of all people-Mexican, Filipino, Japanese, Vietnamese, Caucasion. It was refreshing. In one day the underpayment of $400 a month that the Garden Grove office did to me for SSI was increased $200 in one day. Then by going every week, not letting up, until I saw every director there…it is now $886 a month. I refused to let Vietnamese wait on me and by asking for another caucasion person I never had to worry about a hate crime.

If people are racist they shouldn’t be allowed to work at the social security office or any other place that is supposed to treat everyone the same.

We should employ a questionnaire to people coming over from other countries asking them what they are BRINGING to the UNITED STATES and why they are coming. Also a charcter assessment should be given to screen out racists and white haters. Nobody wants to talk about it but that just eneded as I type this sentence.

I am talking to the law dept at Chapman University where I graduated, and I will get representation to sue and get monetary compensation, sue for fraud, the people, who I know by name.

    It is the principal here.

I believe everybody is the same and just with others felt the same way.

Once we clean up the fraud and what I believe is the Vietnamese are purposely turning white people down for benefits to bring more of their own kind in.
    I talk to people.
I am observant and see who is going out with something and act like a reporter & journalist asking others and find similar stories. I am the only one that will underveil the abuse and stop it once and for all. Every American, white, single lady I have talked to had the same horror stories as me.

Yet I talked to a Mexican family, not even American citizens, who received Medical, Food Stamps and money to live per month in 20 minutes!!!

    What do you call that?

On the application they ask if you are Latino. I refused to say because I said, does that mean I get the benefits if I am?

This kind of nonsence goes on in America and it is wrong and against my civil rights.

I want a news station to go in to both offices and see what they find. I bet my assumptions are correct.

I know I am talking about three things in this post:
    My life
My background, intelligence, education, hud housing, vouchers
    Ssi, ssdi
    Racism
    Hate crimes
Preferential treatment to Latinos, Asians, Families, Women with kids from many fathers
No help for people who tried to do things right
Racial profiling on ssi and medical and food stamps apps
American citizens are given the backseat to needed programs helping disabled survive
Subsidized housing going hand in hand with ssi ssdi

    Increasing funding for subsidized housing
Lowering the epidemic proportions of sad displaced disabled people like myself

Happy birthday Brenda-Paulette’s sister who helped make her homeless in April 2013.

I have no idea how my oldest sister Brenda Bunker and her poor excuse of a husband can sleep at night with what they did. Some have a conscious and others don’t. Some have souls and some do not.

Bunker was unfortunately made power of attorney by my demented father who is dead, assigning care of my mother and all his personal assetts, along with the house I paid on for 13 years.

I need a good, hard hitting attorney to make this right and have a good ending. One who cares about elder abuse and disabled people. Since mom didn’t know what she was signing and dad didn’t realize he was giving power to a man who would abuse the power given.

    My goals:

Remove Mike Bunker from power of attorney
Assign someone to manage my mother’s funds and medical other than me. I need to take care of myself and that is all.
I already made enough sacrifices in my life

Get a house or apartment on some kind of subsidized housing plan in a safe area, since I do not drive.

Sue Mike Bunker for harrassment, stress and going to the hospital numerous times with breakthrough seizures.

I would be seizure free with a place I can call HOME again.
With all the money I saved the state for the 13 years I helped pay my parent’s mortgage, made meals for them etc I feel the state of CA owes me! Especially since I had 0 income during the time I was wrongly turned down for medical and social security after my divorce in 2001.

photos will be added later today when I go to a place with wifi. My Verizon Jetpack is maxed out of time so I am writing this via my Android MyTouch phone.

I want to air this on a major news station or in The Orange County Register. Good things will happen as a result of it. I know it.

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry…

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.” – Oscar Wilde

Oscar Wilde’s words made me think here and then re-think what exactly he meant.

In my opinion what he is saying is:

We imitate way too often in life. From the thoughts we think to the opinions we claim are our own. Many are afraid to say anything out of the ordinary, even if they might be totally right and have valid points to make.

I think the most boring people around and also the most annoying are those who won’t state their opinion about anything. They fear someone will disagree with them so they say nothing at all.

Even worse is the person who could have turned in the cell phone they found in a bathroom stall so the rightful owner could have a chance at cleaiming their world and contacts and information contained therin. (I mention that specific example because I turned one in last night when I found in sitting in the bathroom.) The opportunities are all over though to make that difference, if you only feel like it.

When was the last time you stood up for a cause you felt strongly about?

Sign a petition on Care.org and become involved with making a difference in the world, one signature at a time.

I know everybody speaks of how many followers one has on Twitter or Face Book or other networking sites. When was the last time you thought of “where you are leading people to”?

When Oscar Wilde said their lives are a mimicry, it is because few set the pace for others or are TREND SETTERS….showing the way to better or newer ways of doing things or thinking.

By saying “their passions are a quotation” I think Oscar Wilde meant instead of us making the most out of what are strenths and passions are enabling us to be quoted one day, we “retweet” other’s words instead of writing or creating something with the intent for it to have lasting longevity.

I hope this made you think in new and enlightening ways.

If it did, I did my job as a writer.
