Sign and Share Tom Steyer’s Petition to Impeach Donald Trump: https://action.needtoimpeach.com/t4-img?sc=fbs

I already signed this existing petition which allows you to voice your opinion about how Trump is handling things as President.

It’s all done digitally and takes about 3 minutes to sign digitally.

1 million signatures are needed so share it everywhere if you feel strongly about Freedom, the Integrity of our people as American citizens, and want to see that our children grow up an environment where they look up to their elders and are not disgusted by them instead.

Give me long enough and I can usually find the answer to most anything.

I’m kind of like a white paper in writing, in that I try tout find the answer or solution in most every situation, finding positive solutions to problems or simply enhancing the quality of people’s personal and work lives.

It’s always summer in my heart.

It’s no matter that I have lived in Las Vegas, NV several years now with the dust blowing around me and the rocks beneath my feet; it will always be summer in my heart and soul.

Me below at the Starbucks in The Stratosphere. The photo was taken a few days ago on the 11th of November.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona, also the desert Southwest, but for over 40 years of my life. Southern California was my home.

I was old enough to truly appreciate the blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean around me, the palm trees  calm of the beautiful flowers and all of the other  extraordinary scenery  of California.

It is where I went elementary school, Middle School, High School and college graduate School. Where I was married and 15 years later unfortunately divorced. But it’s also where I began discovering who I really was deep inside after being true to my inner voice, as I call my intuition.

I would love to lease a place there and yet keep my place in Vegas. That way, I could enjoy the uniqueness of both and do work with my old clients and discover new ones.

There are no perfect places to live, but ones that can never be forgotten, like the special people who have helped make me who I am.

I hope that what’s coming for me is like my paper whites blooming with twice the blooms they were supposed to have, my goals exceeding my expectations.

Where have you always wanted to go that you’ve never been to YET?

It doesn’t  have to be fancy place, it doesn’t have to be far away place, it just has to be a special place to you -and only you alone.

Feel free to make comments here if you like.

“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always had and you’ll always want what you always run away from.”-                        Luis A. Delgado

Those brilliant words came from my wonderful friend Luis A. Delgado.

He and I met in Southern California in Westminster many years ago, and even though neither of us live in California any longer we are still connected and are “kindred spirits”. WE BOTH have “the ocean and the beach in our soul” from living NEAR THE PACIFIC OCEAN  so many years. We also are VERY POSITIVE PEOPLE WHO LOOK to IMPROVE OURSELVES DAILY.

Quote by Luis A. Delgado.

I’ve read numerous things that he’s written over time and ask permission to use his quote here that I read on Facebook tonight.

I hope this becomes one of many quotes from Luis too because he has so much wisdom and insights to share. He just doesn’t realize how gifted he is- yet.

She believed she could and so she did

This is for all you ladies out there. How many of you ladies envisioned yourself doing something and then you worked as hard as you possibly could on it, and then you succeeded and you triumphed?
I’m sure you felt like you’re just climbed Mount Everest and you were looking down at the scenic Countryside below you.

I know I felt that way more than once in my life.

What things did you do to help you accomplish what you were shooting for?

Can you share some of your inside tips for success with all the other ladies we’re reading this right now?
This inquiring mind would love to know how you did what you did, and how you stayed motivated until you reach your ultimate goal.

Every Action Has a Chain Reaction in Life -Make Your Actions Great, Memorable and Lasting!

  • Make the things you’re involved with in life be positive chain reactions.
  •  Make people glad they know you.
  • Don’t be manipulative.
  • Don’t be a user.
  • Be a giver.
  • Don’t look for something every time you do something – good or positive for someone for no reason.
  • When you give someone a gift that’s what that means – it’s a gift. You’re not looking for something in return. If you are looking for something in return, then that means you are manipulative and you’re doing it because you expect something- and it’s not a gift it all is it?

Make your intentions genuine.

Be sincere.

Have integrity.

Have big picture ideas where you see the big picture of the entire world and much as the nose on your face.

Shoot for longevity in the projects you’re working on.

Genuinely try and help every client, as unique a’s they are.

When you open your mind and think of opportunities and what you can give, and ways you could help each client—great things happen.

Don’t compare ourself to what everyone else is doing. Think outside the box and think for yourself. Expand on your ideas.

If all you do is follow others, you could be following mediocrity! You want to be the one that leads the way to new, brighter Horizons!

Opportunities will arise that will appear as though if by Magic. I am a very spiritual, intuitive, Christian lady; I know that “magic” is GOD.

Blessings will surface effortlessly when you have your mind off the dollars you’re getting for the job. Instead, focus on building lasting relationships and building in creating extraordinary projects that lead to recurring work and passive income.

Life is way more than quick payoffs.

Success isn’t measured by how much money you have in the bank but rather what kind of human being you are and what your value system is. You can make good money and add value to other people’s lives and enjoy doing it. All those things are possible for you and I. You have to give it all some serious thought though, with no distractions.

Everything you do in life builds your reputation, and from your soul, your mind and attitude, your heart and your brain- your reputation will follow you the rest of your life and each positive, proactive action carves your reputation.

Do good.

Do great.

Do exemplary things.

Don’t be afraid of hard work because there is a huge payoff that will help more than you awaiting you.

Quotes About Purpose

Quotes about Purpose

Written and Compiled by Paulette Le Pore Motzko.

All images photographed and created by Paulette Le Pore Motzko, PLM Studios Copyright March 2017

March 22nd 2017

As far as we can discern, the whole purpose of human existence is the Kindle a light in the darkness of my being. –

Carl G Jung 1875 – 1961. Memories, Dreams, Reflections.

Men’s Perfection would be the Fulfillment of his end, and his end would be Union with his maker. William James 1842 to 1910.

A good cause makes a stout heart and a strong arm. – Thomas Fuller 1654 – 1734.

The purpose of life is undoubtedly to know oneself. We cannot do it unless we learn to identify ourselves with all that lives. The sum total of that life is God. Hence the necessity of realizing God living within every one of us. The instrument of this knowledge is boundless, selfless service. – Mohandas K Gandhi. In Mahedev Desai, the Diary of Mahedev 1958

Everything living strives for wholeness.- Carl G Jung 1875 – 1961 from on the nature of Dreams 1945

Making a chief design and a great business, not to be rich and great but several live in this world as thou mayst reasonably believe that has got with a friend. Thomas Fuller 1654 to 1734. Intraductio ad Prudentum, 939, 1731

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, and which you can walk with love and reverence. Henry David Thoreau. 1817 to 1862. From his journal October 18th 1855.

Not only to see and find the Divine in oneself, but to see and find the Divine in all, not only to seek one’s own individual Liberation and Perfection, but to seek Liberation and Perfection of others is the complete law of the spiritual being. – Sri Arubendi 1872 – 1950.

Stages of Our Lives Pass Like Changing Seasons by Paulette Le Pore Motzko New Version

Above images created by Paulette Le Pore Motzko, Copyright 2016

Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko.

Copyright February 2017

I accidentally erased the link that was on here going to a blog post called “Stages of Change”, and prior to finding the blog post in the wee hours this morning, I had the idea to write this.

I thought the entire story would be written in an hour or by about 3 p.m. now yesterday afternoon, Las Vegas, NV time. It’s 4:00 a.m. February 28th,  2017 and with a Pentatonix Concert on Neflix playing,  I have been embellishing the post with more images that I feel tell part of the story too and modifying what I wrote.

I hope you will enjoy it. Yesterday was my day to “Get Absorbed in The News Day” writing commentaries. I am an empath in many ways, and can only handle hearing about the news of the world every few days. I would never get anything done if I did otherwise. All I have to do is run into one god-forsaken story about Trump, who’s Triple loser in my book, especially after hearing he made fun of a disabled person. Anyone that would make fun of any kind of disabled person is a pathetic human being. Trump’s animalistic, racist and self demeaning behavior boggles my mind. Yes,  I know he tries to demean other people but all he succeeds and doing it’s just lowers himself to increasing new levels of mediocrity.  I want him impeached to preserve the integrity of the United States as an American citizen. He simply makes us look bad in the eyes of other nations.

Enough of my political view points, that were not in the original post,  but I don’t stand alone in my feelings.

One of my golden rules in life is to be genuine and totally authentic. People respect that. When it comes to followers and buying followers  I don’t . All mine are real and represent real, living, breathing , wonderful people  who I have impressed somehow, or I’ve inspired, or empowered, made laugh, entertained,  or they look forward to something that I write, my original images,  or they like just me in general and my persona. My followers are real people who follow me  because I am REAL and put on no pretenses. Anything other than that is just fake in my book, and I’m working on two books currently.

I get asked all the time you want to buy some followers they say why? I have my own real ones from hard work  writing what I feel is good content. I think any industry they call that  organic. As a writer I call it smart because it’s how I know what people LIKE. IF everything is fake and contrived, it doesn’t reflect anything real but it’s just a mere illusion of popularity

When ever I see Trump’s face, one word comes to mind- impeachment. I sincerely hope that happens so the disasters and hate crimes nationwide he instigated can end. The United States needs to think of our progress rather than regression. I wish Trump wasn’t really and instead a really bad nightmare ,  nut we all wake up and he’s still there unfortunately!
Like many of my stories, posts and pictures; they are going through a creative evolutionary process, contantly changing or improving, like their creator me! We all change everyday just a little bit, even though we can’t see the changes, we still do. The great thing about that is it we all have a say in how we change,  and in what ways we change. You just have to want to change then catapult your want with action to make it a reality.

Above photo taken by my friend Martha the general manager of The Canonita-Mexico City Soul Food. Photo editing by Paulette Motzko.

Just like the seasons are now changing from winter to spring, this article is changing with every word I write.

I hope the finished product has you look at not only me in a new way, but life in general in a new way and directs you to a newfound realization of the power you possess in it.

Embrace change. It us the only constant in life.  Those who do the best in life ADAPT.

Much like a surfer on a surfboard riding the wave, those that master the “Art of Living”, ride the wave called LIFE. We can learn from the quick reflexes of the surfer, adjusting what we do in correlation to what’s the way  was coming our way.

When I was younger I hadn’t discovered my full potential yet and didn’t see the world from a big picture vantage point yet. That was to be uncovered and made visible over time. I was a very sick, misunderstood kid that grew up in the 60’s, at a time before the time “bullying” was invented or before people cared to do something about it at least.

My nanny came to live with us when I was nine, the same age I was diagnosed with epilepsy. The piano she brought with her would soon become my best friend. It took until high school at 14 to be invented for me to know what size your freedom was.  Until the time kids were just too mean spirited stupid to ever give me a chance as human being, let alone as a friend.  I wrote music on that Henry Ford. Miller piano and read lots of cookbooks and passed the time figuring out what I was going to make and cook, analyzing recipes as though it were a novel envisioning  what I’d make  when I grew up and the parties that I would have and how awesome it would be…….

Every day pray and meditate as your 1st thing in the day.  Connect with your Omnipotent Power of the Universe asking for Wisdom and Guidance. I AM CHISTIAN BAPTIZED CATHOLIC, BUT I AM SPIRITUAL IN NATURE. No matter what your faith, place that part of you first and you cannot be steered wrong.

Light an aromatherapy candle and find out how you can tap into what’s inside your SOUL.

I have always found lighting a candle is a way to connect to a hidden, very special light planted in my soul.

Chances are, if you try it, you will discover it too.

Before you know it, when you start connecting with your Spiritual Source, you’ll find a light that you can protect outward at the world, and the world will be brighter as result of it. If your light shines brilliantly it’s own special way, the light will never go away as long as the World Turns. If you bring something to the world nobody has ever seen before that has great merit,  you’ll be memorable enough that your memory and good you did will “shine” like the aurora borealis.

The older I get the more I focus on the good I can give rather than what I can get and options and opportunities open like flowers in the Spring.

Remember:  “With a pen,  paper and an idea, I have the world!”

Writing is a way you can connect with your innermost self, your hopes and dreams unfurl as you hold that pen in your hand, or as you type. Whichever method helps you connect better and be more prolific, do it!

Keep Supporters of Your Dreams Close To You

Keep Negative and Hurtful People Away From You. You owe it to yourself to have a happy and productive life. Negative people are like a ball and chain who get their enjoyment from dragging you down because they don’t have the initiative, talent or ideas that you do. Repel them like water beads on Vaseline.

Water the Garden of Your Dreams Daily by working on each Project.

Listen to your inner voice, or intuition because it is always right.

Take time for your routine that keeps you most healthy.

If music is a passion of yours, sing a song or put some music out in the universe making your contribution to making a more harmonious world.

Life is a balancing act composed of spiritual time, personal time, work time, leisure time and whatever other classifications you when to add.

Take time to do self-introspection so you can see how far you’ve come and how far you’ve gone to appreciate Where You Are now.

Mentor others  so you can help others carry the torch and do things easier than you once did.
Donate your time then to philanthropic things to give back to the world and it will give you more back than you ever dreamed.
Make the most of where you are now. Use the tools you have now, they don’t have to be the best tools but they’re the tools we can afford and use them maximize them and save up for whatever equipment you need to do your job well.
Don’t take the first no for an answer you hear. If you’re not getting what you want with your company go to the corporate level and I guarantee you’ll get what you want.
Aim for your goals like a GPS guidance system guides a Delta rocket to outer space

Paulette Motzko’s Writing Books  Recommendations and Pathways to Inspiration

This article was inspired by one of my recent followers, who went through a very tragic and tumultuous year. Because of this it stopped this once prolific writer from producing anything at all.

Sometimes we can be over critical on ourselves, overanalyzing everything that we do. That quality doesn’t help us when we create anything of value in this world, written or otherwise. Create because you want to create. Whether it be be a mud pie, a sandcastle,  a watercolor painting, a photograph, a beautiful song,  a recipe, a loaf of bread, or  the manuscript for your first book.

    Wallpaper Image from Zedge.com.

Writing can be catharsis or it can be euphoria. You can carve every word just as though you were Michelangelo and you were carving marble transforming  something  hard and solid into something that breathes with life.

That’s the analogy I like best when it comes to writing, and it has served me well since my Honors English days in High School. I took every English class that Garden Grove High had to offer I had phenomenal teachers, better than even in college.

And one thing I did in every writing class is writing is to write in my personal Journal -and just write every day.

In other words, write things that the world never see.

There are things that are only for you, God, and serve a very valid purpose.  If you don’t have a journal, go buy a nice one at Barnes & Noble, or simply use Microsoft Office  Word  on your smartphone computer or tablet.

Through devoting time to writing in a special place that inspires you, which is very important, extraordinary things will emerge. Stories can develop right before your eyes, poems can be written, recipes can be thought of.

With everything you write anywhere, especially on a Blog that seen all over the world – you’re gaining  experience, exposure, notoriety, readership and it’s just enjoyable. The enjoyable part is the most important one of all.

Once you start carving out time for writing, you’ll start carving words that are memorable and lasting and worth remembering.

If you are a writer, check out my other blog called A Writer’s Joy. A Writer’s Joy

Any kind of art, written or otherwise, is an extension of your soul. Art I’d an extension of  your inner most being. Writing is one of those timeless arts, that if used in the right way,  can outlive you do great things long after you leave this earth, creating a legacy.

Write because you feel what you’re doing is beautiful and has merit, or serves a valid purpose, or can simply  give joy, enlightenment someone, educate or you’d simply like to share it with the world. That’s exactly what you can do on a blog.

I’m going to be adding to this book list over the next week. I’m going to start with these two, which in themselves are phenomenal starting points, even if no other books were added to the list.

I hope my words of encouragement and blessings on all of your present and future creations extraordinary Beyond Your Wildest Dreams! To all of the artists, writers, photographers, musicians, and chefs create what’s never been created before. Enjoy the process. Learn everything you can about your craft. Read books, and associate with people who are doing what you want to do and let them enter you in every way they possibly can. Listen to advice and listen to helpful criticism but don’t let others dim the light that shines inside you that’s waiting to burst like a beacon to the world.

What gives you the most feeling of being rewarded or at least where I’m concerned, is to do the right thing. I, for one, love strength, daring, fortitude. I do not want people to kill the fight in them; I want them to fight for the right things. Helen Keller

Helen Keller Says: “I, for one, love strength, daring, fortitude. I do not want people to kill the fight in them; I want them to fight for right things.”

One of the earliest known pictures of Helen Keller with her extraordinary teacher Anne Sullivan. She was my role model since I was 9 years old diagnosed with epilepsy. I discovered her and playing piano I’m cooking, and writing, it is very early age and very pivotal age in my life. I realized after reading what she did dealt with what she had to deal with that I could do anything I put my mind to do, if I only wanted to badly enough.

Later picture of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan,  also from Pinterest, . Photographer unknown.

Anne Sullivan brought Enlightenment to Helen Keller’s life. Before Anne Sullivan entered Helen Keller’s dark and Silent world, she didn’t understand why she was there and didn’t understand that everything had a meeting and everything had a name in this world. I suggest you read any of the books that Helen Keller wrote. Your life and your attitude will be forever changed. She was brilliant and it was Anne Sullivan that brought out that brilliance hiding like a tulip waiting to bloom buried deep in the Earth.

Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate

I was trying to put into words the term for when you do something just because it is right but not because it EASY or THE STATUS QUO.  A fellow writer and blogger friend of mine called it “moral courage” the other day.

We are all connected on this big, water covered planet we call earth. There is only one of them, so if we mess it up or the people who inhabit it, we never have a chance to go back and fix it. Life on earth as we know it is a “one shot deal” so we better get it right the first time and quit living as though everything is expendable.

    image

We have a throwaway society anymore and people and the apathy towards people in general has gone along with the trash we throw away. It shouldn’t be and I am not saying that all people are apathetic, because of course they are not. There are just many who could do far more than they do for others they meet in everyday life.

Once the water systems are polluted, what do we do?

    image

Just these thoughts are good ones to ponder in terms of how we should be making sure there are no oil spills killing our fish and wildlife and ruining the water.

    image

Human beings have a lot in common with the earth in that they are both mostly composed of water. Without it, all life ceases to be.

What about bombs and the warfare, chemical or otherwise? Since I was married to a rocket scientist and he was the master of logic and science; since we were married for fifteen years, I chose to take with me the best of what I learned and the best of our memories together. Why throw a bomb that will kill thousands of innocent women, children, and ruin the land around it, making it impossible to plant anything-just to wipe out that one “target”? It isn’t logical to me.

Why not find and train more people who speak the languages of the countries we are fighting right now, or at least have our military people in like Afghanistan and Syria?

Try something you haven’t tried before.

Success models are made up of prototypes that worked. Once you know the model, you can strive to create one that works as well or supersedes it.

How about our budget that the so-called great leaders in the United States of America have concocted?

    Above wallpaper image from Zedge.

There has not been any trace of anyone from the two Bush’s to Reagan who has ever tried to come up with a budget that would start paying off the debt already incurred. Obama keeps spending and China owns more of America. It’s like a dirty American secret that nobody wants to take accountability for.

Will our next president of the United States make sure the priorities are in the right places? I certainly hope so, but rather than seeing human beings who invented great leadership skills, I see Trump as an overgrown brat who tragically never grew up. I see Clinton with major trust issues going in the office, after breaching national securiy. Wish you did with a lot more than just sharing emails! People lost lives because of those emails and that cannot be overstated.

I haven’t sat through one debate becauase it is not one by true definition.  A debate is where people are asked intelligent, hard-hitting questions and they answer them , and an intelligent  fashion .  Trump  and Clinton are good at insulting each other and name calling and badgering. I had little tolerance for badgering in elementary school and I have absolutely zero tolerance for that kind of behavior now.

Is there some kind of moral conduct and we can demand that of our presidential candidates?
It’s almost as though you need a referee make in a boxing match.

‘ve never seen a time in our political history where we’ve needed in an actual referee like it’s a boxing match verses to great minds talking about what they would each do. We never had that in the election from the get-go

I am not sure what kind of actual good they can accomplish, since they are not showing the best of who they are when that is exactly what they should be doing!

This is idiocy and being that I was born and raised in The United States and never want to see the day when China owns America.

What is going on is a vicious cycle of stupidity, borrowing on China’s credit and we are looking the fool in the eyes of other countries.

Before I get on a this one topic alone, that infuriates me at the stupidity and complete lack of responsibility on the parts of all who work for the government for not prioritizing paying the debt of the USA.

I hope I see the day when a budget is created and adhered to. I hope I see the day when we have a new president who has one known social security number, and stands for things that benefit Americans instead of big businesses.

I hope I see the day when you can get a job in America without having to know Vietnamese or Spanish, when it is America you are trying to get the job and not Vietnam or Mexico.

    image

I hope I see the day when people try to be more kind and tolerant of each other’s differences.
Movie makers, producers and directors put positive and empowering messages out there instead coming up with a crime show give goofballs and psychos ideas to blow things up and kill people in movie theaters. Values can and could dictate our society, if we all wanted that badly enough.

I hope I see the day when our president realizes that every action has a chain reaction be it a bomb, something that is not needed that tax payer’s end up paying for. China is buying more of America up every day as the imaginary credit card is used.

They print up so much “play money” that I don’t think they understand in the real world, for you and I and everyone else, we all have to pay our debts. Why isn’t the White House and those who write the checks accountable as we are?

Breaking laws to fit personal agendas doesn’t make me proud of the current leadership. Can’t we as Americans demand to see how the money is spent? They are working for the American people and are supposed to be our ambassadors.

    image

What are your major concerns for our country? What would you like to see happen in the next year in America?

Please Mr. President Obama, well you’re still president- open your eyes, wake up and be accountable for what you spend regarding our country.

Students arming Syrian terrorist and creating Isis why don’t you look at all the veterans who have no homes?

What did you think of raising the cost of living index for all people who are disabled on SSI and SSDI?

Why don’t you see that every American in every state can live in dignity and peace and have all their Corporal needs met before you think of taking money we don’t have and giving it to other countries?
NOW is a good time to create and adhere to a workable budget, not just hype.

Start caring and acting responsibly and care about America being owned my Americans and how we take care of it now is the gift we will hand down to our children.

Relaxing Background Guitar Music & How Creating An Inspiring Environment by Paulette Motzko

I love this beautiful acoustic guitar play list.

If you are a creative person just like I am, the key is to find out to flowing inspiration is to know in an intimate way what environment helps you create the best in yourself.

Keep repeating it over and over again. What works for you will be different than anyone else.

    Things that inspire me are…

Beautiful natural surroundings are beautiful places

    The Pacific Ocean

    Majestic mountains

    Enchanted Forest’s

Inspiring workplaces that are conducive to concentration

Special music playlist and help bring out the best in your artwork. This could be writing, this could be photography, this could be cooking or painting or some other art form.

The special place that everytime you go there you meet someone extraordinary. I have several places like that and I don’t even question what happens I just know it happens. Will meet someone who is absolutely extraordinary every time I go to this certain location. If you pay attention you’ll find then you can maximize the positives in your world. Just pay attention and follow your instincts and usually always steered in the right direction.

And lastly I do a lot of meditation everyday I’m prayer and centering thought hoping to create something I feel give something back to the universe, and will last long after I touched the face of God.

Plastics To Outweigh Fish if We Don’t Change Our Habits & Recycle More!

I wish people would simply put trash in a trash can and look at the sea and the ocean and river’s and streams and think of it as our marine life’s home.

Water is also necessary for us to sustain life. By throwing trash and plastics and garbage in the sea, we are slowly but surely messing up one of our own most vital natural recourses for maintaining life on earth.

Spread the word to conserve and appreciate our oceans and to care about all life. Our ecosystems are interconnected with us.

If we have respect for all life  and  the Earth  will be able to enjoy a beautiful view like this for a long time.

    Beautiful Chinese Proverb

As I was reading the inside forward of the first of the series of Chicken Soup for the Soul books by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, I spotted this beautiful Chinese proverb which I will share with you because it’s enlightening in so many ways and it shows how we’re all connected on this planet and one thing has a chain reaction.

If there is Light in the Soul, there will be Beauty in the Person.

If there is Beauty in the person, there will be Harmony in the house.

If there is Harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.

If there is Order in the Nation, there will be Peace in the World.

This is a work-in-progress folks. I’m still going through photographs that were my mother’s and taking pictures of them one by one and adding them to this post. After all the pictures are added then I’ll add text to it. Rather than not publish it and keep it private like I had, I thought I would just Post-it and let you guys enjoy it while I’m building it.

One aspect of your life may be bad, but all your ingredients are not in.

“One aspect of your life may be bad, but all your ingredients are not in. Remember, a little baking soda can make a huge difference in a cookie recipe. Just a little break, just one person, just one idea, just one touch of God’s favor can turn the bitter into the sweet, sorrow into Joy, the mourning into dancing.”

-Joel Osteen from his phenomenal book- It’s Your Time.

    image

Last night, before I went to bed I picked up Joel Osteen’s book in large print edition called it’s your time I got it from the library.

I absolutely love the title on it and under the title was printed “Activate Your Faith, Achieve Your Dreams and Increase God’s Favor Now. That’s before I even knew about his book called “I Declare” which I discovred from some pins on Pinterest.
I would recommend getting both of them. His metaphors are fresh and inventive and creative and it’s just exactly what I needed and was “the missing ingredient” if you will, and the “recipe” for my life of this week after losing my mother on the 5th.

It’s wonderful how he says “it’s not one isolated event that determines your destiny. All the ingredients arent in in yet, comparing our lives to a recipe with different experiences as the ingredients.

We have different experiences we go through in life that make the complete picture.

So sometimes, the best ingredients, like it’s in a chocolate chips in a chocolate chip cookie recipe are saved for last.

I know it’s very difficult for me at this time because I haven’t even gone to the funeral yet for mom, and another that put both their ashes together in a military cemetary. I will get through it and I will not be alone.

And I know that it sure as the chapter closes of my mother’s sweet, wonderful, forever misses life, other chapters are opening on my life that will take me in new, positive directions…but it is hard now.

God bless all who read my words all over the world! .

Moments of Meditation: Sometimes in life, we don’t know where we’re going…

    Moments of Meditation

“Sometimes in life , we don’t know where we’re going …
    We keep going anyway”…

Just as my dear friend Theresa said in her her quote, sometimes we don’t know really what we’re doing but we learn as we go along.

Have you ever done that in life?

No sooner do you feel like you’re flying by the seat of your pants and then somehow you find the strength, and abilities to accomplish things you never thought possible.

But, in reality you werent doing it alone at all. You had a Silent Faithful Partner called God walking alongside you.

When faced with battles, if we live a prayerful life, we will find strength with the fortitude, combined with inner wisdom that is our “homing device” that guides us home.

Larissa Martinez in her Valedictorian in Graduation Speech: I’m Undocumented

Valedictorian Larissa Martinez said in her graduation speech: “I’m undocumented”

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/10/us/texas-undocumented-valedictorian-trnd/index.html

You have to read what this very brave young lady said as Valedictorian at her graduation. Her courageous speech surprised everyone, and she was bright in saving her secret for a “punch line “at the end of her speech.

America was founded on the principles that all people have the same rights.

She made a factual statement about Trump, about “his wall built on hatred”… and I give her a standing ovation for that one.

I personally feel Trump should be thrown out of the political race based on his racist, anti-American view points and his repeat, tasteless racial generalizations.

I cannot believe how easily and quickly I made friends with Larissa Martinez on Facebook after searching for her.

We talked back and forth using the Instant messaging app and over 80,000 were searching to find her or talking about her there.

I wrote this on her profile page, and I’m pleased with the words I wrote so I share it with you here.

“CONGRATULATIONS for your excellence in your academics and also in your bravery to stand up and disclose that our immigration system I’d broken and also about saying that Trump us building a walk out of hatred. You are so astute and you are going to go far in this world. You already have! I am so happy we became friends so quickly here. If you should ever want to make your opinions heard on a wide scale, my blog Totally Inspired Mind has a wide readership, and you can send me your story and I will air it to 100 countries. I have a loudspeaker to the world.

God bless you Larissa Martinez. You are one extraordinary young lady!

I didn’t get her name-( because I have my Galaxy Note 4 plugged into Bluetooth speaker and I’m usually listening to the believe Life channel on doing something else listening and I don’t necessarily see the captions into the speakers that are that are announced on it but it allows me to do things that otherwise would have been boring or I might put up and then I can listen to it while I’m doing before you know it the tour gets done or the thing gets done but I can be empowered while I’m doing it patterns mundane things throughout the day or travel time into something that’s empowering. But I will go back and try to find out who the person was that said this. She said to everyday write down 40 things that you.)

I ask you my extraordinary followers to also describe in one word What You Are.

You can add as many one word positive descriptions as you like but have them be positive. Give some thought on this and pick words that you think about who you are and what your about.

“Warren Buffett’s Top 10 Rules For Success” & Paulette Motzko’s Advice

Warren Buffett’s  advice for living is fantastic. He has many short and sweet pointers they can become guiding principles  if you allow them to be.

I was listening to this YouTube video when I was in the kitchen doing things one of the key points I picked up was “what people look for” is people who are energetic and smart and the other component in finding people to work with and also as friends is integrity. Also passion and enthusiasm they’re really high on the list too.

That’s my personal guiding principle in life, kind of like the DNA of my system.

If the people I associate with don’t have integrity I don’t associate with them- it’s that simple.
I’m very selective on who I hang with because I don’t want to be like those with undesirable qualities, or pick up any of their bad habits.

My mom taught me early on that “who you associate with is who you become”, well to a large extent that’s true.

I would encourage you to be around people who believe in your dreams and who help you achieve your dreams that’s my advice.

“Jim Carrey’s Top 10 Rules For Success” & P. Motzko’s Commentary-From Vision to Living The Dream

” Jim Carrey is a Visionary and uses very empowering visualisations to have propelled himself from being homeless – but with very detailed dreams and goals of what he wanted his life to be- to living his dreams and a success story.

He now speaks in front of large groups of people at universities giving them advice on how to live, and telling them what he’s learned.
After you finish speaking he makes people feel like they can do anything- and with the right mindset you can.

You know you’re a leader and you know you’re doing something right when you can show others new ways of thinking and show them that they possessed inside what they sought all along.

I know as a piano teacher, I know a student will do well just because they have music inside their soul; it’s like its hard-wired in their system. I already know the students going to be successful before I even start teaching them.

Gifted Hands by Ben Carson- The Ben Carson Story:Read This Book!

    image

I bought this book 2 weeks after Christmas last year. It was on the best-seller rack at Barnes and Noble in Summerlin. What an extraordinary person Ben Carson is! Of all the people running for the Office of the President of the USA, I wish he had won. Extraordinary things would have happened, had he been in a position to change things for us all.
He would have made choices that benefited everybody.

From the back of the book:

“Ben Carson is a professor of neurosurgery, plastic surgery, oncology and Pediatrics, and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins medical institutions. He’s also the author of other best-selling books – think big, and the big picture. He serves on the corporate Boards of the Kellogg Company, Costco Wholesale Corp., and America’s promise, among others, and is an Emeritus fellow of the Yale Corporation. He and his wife, candy, are the parents of three grown sons and live in Baltimore County, Maryland.”

“5 Ways to Improve your COMMUNICATION Skills – #BelieveLife” on YouTube with Commentary by Paulette L Motzko, Totally Inspired Mind

What an awesome 25 minute video from the Believe channel by Evan Carmichael.

The first presenter speaks of the key points of communication and he uses an acronym “HAIL” which stands for Honesty, Authenticity , Integrity and Love.

Very well done! Those are huge things I value in life. ALL THE PEOPLE I ASSOCIATE WITH MUST possess those qualities. That is a prerequisite with me.
If they do not, I simply don’t associate with them.

Life is too short to hang with crows or buzzards when you can soar with the eagles instead.

After YOU ARE 18 years old, you have the right to choose who you associate with.

If your family member is malicious or doesn’t have your best interest in mind, or is just psychologically messed up and causes havoc in your life– you simply don’t need to be around them.

I have a few family members like that. You can’t exchange family members like a bad poker hand, but you can simply walk away from the game and let them play by themselves.

When I was about 6 years old I remember mom saying ” who you are around is what you become.”
So, when looked at things in that context, becomes very easy to weed people out of your life and be more selective.

For instance, when I used to do gardening in my last house in Orange before my divorce, I remember putting this stuff called Preen my flower box with the geraniums, gladiolus, daffodils and Lily of the Nile. It helped to prevent weeds. Yes prevent them. It made it so I didn’t have to sit there breaking my back tending the soil the next day. Even though the stuff cost a fair amount of money, all I had to do was put it on once a month and it saved me work.

Bad people are like weeds and they can infiltrate your life with snuggled edges, and pollute your mind with bad thoughts, colorful language that you really shouldn’t be using, because when you’re around someone that does something over and over again it tends to rub off on you.

If you set high standards in your life and associate with flowers who help you bloom too, the garden called your life will always bloom.

If you compare bad people to weeds- people who possess the opposite of the qualities outlined in the acronym HAIL, it becomes very easy to not let them take over your pretty flower garden… otherwise known as your world. Your life, like a flower garden, blooms in direct proportion to what you plant.

    image

    image

Images photographs and created by Paulette L Motzko, PLM Studios, Las Vegas, Nevada Copyright 2015 and 2016

Let every one of the people in your life bloom on their own. People who share a common denometer with you, naturally help you bloom to the most of your ability…because they are blooming themselves and are happy with where they are in life. Conversely, people who aren’t happy in life, and who only bring negative things to the forefront, are people who will usually try to drag you down to their low existence.

    Don’t let them do it.

The most important things to me are honesty, integrity, tactfulness, of course- because you don’t just want to say anything that comes to your mind in the sake of being honest to somebody.

All these things put together build your reputation. Your reputation is what you’re going to leave when you’re not here anymore and that’s what people will remember most about you.

It’s not how many cars you have in the driveway, it’s not how fancy your Gucci bag is, but simply how you treat other people and how you made them feel when they were around you.

Those things form who you become in life and who people know you to be.

That really is what matters to me in life. I hope you enjoy this YouTube video I’ve got to find out how to reach Evan Carmichael that does all of these extraordinary “Believe” YouTube videos because they are the best I’ve ever seen.

You have my Paulette Le Pore Motzko Seal of Approval on that Mr Evan Carmichael.

I’ve would love to meet Evan Carmichael one day and congratulate him on an outstanding collection of YouTube videos.

I don’t know how he does it but the finish product is pretty extraordinary.

With my blog Totally Inspired Mind I wanted to contribute something extraordinary and put it out of the universe and then get other like-minded people to join it. It started with a vision and then it became reality in a few hours when I created the blog in a hotel room. Now five years later about a hundred countries read this and now I am going to monetizing it. Currently my payment is sharing what I feel us quality content that is remembered and shared.
I aspire to communicate using the HAIL principles outlined in this YouTube video of honesty, authenticity, integrity and love always.

No matter what, figurative or literal, the sun’s rays will be awaiting you on the other side of the storm.

We all come into each other’s lives for a reason. In one another we fill the void of what we were both missing. I hope she can come to The United States soon so we can finally meet each other.

Listen to “Your Invisible Power” by GENEVIEVE BEHREND on Librivox

    http://librivox.bookdesign.biz/book/6569

I just finished all 17 chapters of Your Invisible Power, and all the reviews of this book were outstanding.

I want to suggest reading it in installments because most chapters aren’t very long.

If you take the bus, like I do, you can listen to chapters while you’re in transport with a headset. That would turn an otherwise boring and arduous commute into something truly interesting.

If you’re driving you can listen to it on the speaker on your smartphone or iPod, iPad or whatever you kind of device you have.

Periodically listen to the last chapter; it only takes about four minutes to listen to. It will periodically give yourself a self-assessment of how well you’re filling your life’s purpose.

You can listen to most chapters while you do chores at home, while you do dishes like I did, and have the sound going through a Bluetooth speaker. Take a task you have been avoiding and listen to a fabulous book at the same time. Librivox has countless free titles to choose from that are in the public domain, and other greatly discounted audio books for sale too.

Most anything you do in life you can turn into something extraordinary if you really want to- you have to want to.

Have a phenomenal day and great weekend.

Prayer is not the overcoming of God’s reluctance, but the taking hold of God’s willingness. Phillip Brooks

This is on the inside cover of a book that I carry around with me every day and say certain portions of it that I’ve marked with a Post-It notes called “Handle with Prayer” by Alan Cohen.

    image

I found my copy for a dollar fifty at a book sale in a Friends of The Library sale in southern California, with coffee stains all over the cover and scribbles on the inside, but I didn’t care. I could see the merit of the wonderful book without even reading it. One’s trash is another treasure.

    image

The cover was beat up and damaged so I covered it with cat stickers because if I ever had a pet again it would be a cat. The stickers give me joy, make the cover look a little better and strike up conversations from passers by who see me reading it.

It’s published by Hay House Publishers.

    I recommend it to anybody.

It’s a fantastic book then we’ll have you thinking in more positive ways and transforming your ideas about prayer, God, what you can do and accomplish and a host of other things.

Alan Cohen has written I believe over 20 books.

    http://www.HayHouse.com

The ISBN number on this book handle with prayer is:

    ISBN 1 – 56170 – 467 – 9 hardcover

This book is classified as prayer and self-realization and religious aspects.

My strength did not come from lifting weights…..

My strength did not come from lifting weights. My strength came from lifting myself up and I was knocked down.

This is my favorite one of the year end of last year because that’s exactly what I did in my life over the last year.
It has been, and will continue to be probably my most positively transformative year in my life. It has also been one of the most exhausting physically.

Mom and I are and always will be together in spirit, though now she’s a few hour’s away.

I must look a million times a day for inspiration and insight here.

In life we never know what we are getting and what kinds of blessings or tragedies may befall. You can only stack the deck in your favor so when the hand is played you come close to winning.

If every one of you reading this sentence could realize that nobody on earth was dealt a perfect life, then maybe you won’t feel so isolated or sad, just knowing you are not the only one. Everybody on the bus every day I see has their own joys, family, friends and struggles. Just because you don’t know them, don’t fool yourself. Problems in life don’t omit anyone, no matter how much money you make. Often the richest people have the most screwed up lives. They have no idea what to do with all their money and have lost the ability to enjoy simple things. They spend their lives trying new drugs and paying for expensive thrills that leave them flat and uninspired.

As a child who was disabled and went through a merry-go-round-of medicine for epilepsy before I got to the one that worked when I was fourteen-years-old.

I learned big words and related to teachers better than my classmates who made fun of me because I was different. All the things I went through in my early years toughened me up to be a soldier of life and an ambassador of compassion and good will who can related to everyone with a cane, in a wheelchair and who strives each day to know health firsthand and independence.

Even though in life you may have looked at hell in the eye like I did and been through moments where you nearly died; remember you made it out the other end.

A visualization to picture your mind that I created after going through one of the worst year and a half of my life is:

I can see myself walking through a huge hoop of fire and coming out the other end transformed, stronger, and smarter and where ingenuity is in my DNA. After helping my parents pay their house payment thrown the span of 15 years and being betrayed by my siblings I grew up with; it redefined my existence.

We were once a good family, not a perfect family, but we were never an apathetic, hate filled family. There was so much negative dynamics going on between my older siblings and that no matter if my mother needed help, if I could have done over again, I would have looked out for number one and that is all, and got the hell out of there. I can see that in retrospect and wish I would done that, but if I had mom wouldn’t have anyone who gave a damn and she wouldn’t be in the senior home she is now.

The things you learn in life gaining wisdom are vast.

What have you learned in life?

Are there lessons you can pass on to others?

What is a lesson you learned that you can pass on to another to make their path smoother, watching out for rocks and boulders?

You see, when you do without you learn to compromise. You learn how to substitute and you truly get to know what it is like to live on a bargain basement existence that only those who frequent places like The 99 Cents Store, Dollar General remembering numerous times since moving to Nevada and having my SSI cut by $150 a month-times when I couldn’t afford anything in the dollar store!

What I do know out of the tragic and almost mind boggling callous and low class way I was treated in the end of making great sacrifices for my mom and financially helping my dad by living on the duplex he was still making payments on after 2001. I learned that there are people who look like a human being but are missing a soul and a conscious; my siblings fit that description. I only hope that they regret it one day. I know I did the best I could in spite of going through adversity myself. In other words, we are only responsible for ourselves and there comes a point where all the talking in the world isn’t going to change things.

    image

Move on. Look back and accept what you did and embrace the choices you made.

Just because you were betrayed doesn’t mean you have betray someone else. Just because you were hit, doesn’t mean you have to hit someone else. Someone else’s cold heart doesn’t have to be yours and shouldn’t be yours.

Why the Lord allows good people to go through hell none of us will know, especially when their hearts and souls are good.

In life what matters most is for you to not focus on the dark aspects or “shadows” in your life. Look at the “bright spots” that sparkle like Orion on a clear night in the desert. Keep the friends who have become family; they are your new family.

    image

Just because you are related to someone doesn’t give them the right to be in your life. To have the right someone has to treat you with dignity and respect. If those elements are missing, then you really don’t need the person in your life.

Remember, every negative person drags you down. Every positive person lifts you and your spirits up.
You want to be dragged down to the nether world, or do you want to keep people around you who also set their aspirations on high and noble things. Forget the rest.
I pray to meet people who are kind, caring, compassionate who care about the world around them and who care about children, the environment and the world issues.
Here is a cool visual for you: I also pray to NOT MEET negative, pessimistic people and to avoid or REPEL people with rotten intentions people just like water droplets on Vaseline.
What story will you retell people?

Will it be a triumphant one? A Courageous One? An Extraordinary One?

Make the things you say be as amazing as yourself, because the spoken word is what people will remember about you.

Do you want to be a mina bird of the same, sad story or do you want to force yourself to grow, find the wisdom in your pain and to help people they are not alone.

If pain and suffering has to be, let it be transformed to bring someone up from their aloneness.
I hope this 1,534 word story does just that. Come out of your cave and light the light and let it shine on only the good and the great. No matter what your faith, don’t lose hope and never quit believing the good and just win. And even if they don’t “win” they show everybody in the world how they can! After all, people are only winners or losers in their minds. What you think you are you will be.
I hope every word changes your minds, and transforms your spirit and helps you think about the experiences you have gone through and how you carry them around.
Troubles can be on your shoulders like lead weights or you can problem solve, pray and meditate and gain insight. To do that you need solitude and uninterrupted time so you can think. When was the last time you gave yourself that gift? It is through self-introspection that you grow and transform into something greater.
Learn to journal and write every day your innermost feelings. At first at will feel awkward doing it, but it will come more naturally with time. In time you will look forward to it. Make it a minimum of 30 minutes. Go to a library where you can be guaranteed to not be bothered and where it is quiet enough you can hear yourself think. Preferably have nobody see it but you and God and your soul.
In your first journal book entry: make a list of all the things you are thankful for this moment.
Now make a list of things you need to work on to be happier and feel better.
Number them and create a plan of action.
Make the most of what you have now. If you want more, work for it all and enjoy what you have NOW. This time will never come again. When you are 85 ladies you will think you look like pretty hot now! Hey guys, tell your mom and dad you love them, they won’t be around forever. I am reminded that our time on this extraordinary earth is limited. Make the most of your travels here.

It is only then that you can take what were problems and setbacks and throw them in the sea and watch the seagulls take them away to the wild blue.
Put some beautiful and inspiring music on iheart.com radio or Pandora.com and get in touch with who you really are. When you do that, you will find you have way more going for you but you just overlooked what you were given.

Written with love to the world.

Paulette Motzko Needs A Room in A Home-She Will Cook & Help with Housework

    http://totallyinspiredpc.wordpress.com/2013/10/31/3015/

The first time I was nominated for The Most Versatile Blogger Award was on October 31st, of this year 2013 and was just nominated again yesterday by another fellow blogger that goes by amintiridinbucatarie at amintiridinbucatarie.wordpress.com.
Thank you again to my fellow readers and bloggers.

Me at year ago in my old kitchen I lived in for 13 years and what was my parent's place-sold for $460,000. Need a hard hitting lawyer to make sure Bunker didn't spend it all! He is the guy that evicted me and threw mom's things in a dumpster! I have filed more than my share of complaints with Adult Protective Services. Such a tragic thing-what they did to mom and I.

    versatile-blogger-award

I answered all the many questions about myself and nominated my choices for which blogs I felt worthy of the same award.

I still have to accept and nominate for The Most Influential Blogger Award, and I forget who nominated me! Sorry folks, but I have been really busy leading the most tumultuous part in my life in history. That award means the most to me because it means that my words meant something to a lot of people and not only got them thinking but acting in new ways.

All of these awards and the 73 countries who have been reading this site on a monthly basis-didn’t know these things were going on, but they are. The readership doubled on this site in the last two months. It makes me elated that I managed to do it all.

I met a nice lady who was a nurse with her two children at Arby’s this week. We had so much in common and she said two words to me- very simply said “Stay Sweet”. I am so happy that people still perceive me to be “sweet’. I didn’t let all the apathy and callousness regarding my mother and I jade me and I will always think that most people are inherently good-if you are good to them.

It is eight months to date since I was callously evicted from my mother’s place (that I chose to live in 13 years ago helping my parents pay their house payment while I  had a place to live in the massive duplex they owned in Garden Grove, CA. That ended in April 2013 when my brother-in-law Mike Bunker-made power of attorney by my dad-which was a royal mistake-and my mother-evicted me. I have been in and out of two star hotels, trying to afford expensive southern CA rent, which is impossible with no room mate.

I am eligible for HUD housing but women with kids get priority and I am treated as though I am not alive. (I am not done fighting on this matter to change this fact. I wish I didn’t have to be the only one fighting, since it affects more than myself.)

Of course I am alive and searching day by day to find a family to live with and cook for the family in exchange for a nice, clean safe non-smoking environment I can live in and relax and take care of myself. It will be easy to get ahead when I don’t feel like I have a shot gun to my head rushing around or else I will be out on the street when the money runs out for the hotel I am writing this from!

It is a hell of a way to live and if you would have told me that I would be doing this, when my family once had morals, values and stuck together, I would have never believed you. I am in charge of me-and that is it. That is what I learned out of all this. I am not sure why I have to go through so much and endure so many tragic things in my life, but I will be glad when I have a place to call home. I am working to make more and more money but it is going out the door as fast as I get it.

I have been looking on Craig’s List for Orange County but everybody in CA is greedy and wants $800 to rent a lousy bedroom. In New Mexico you can get a two bedroom two bathroom place for $700 with full amenities! about less than half of what it takes here in Expensive-Ville.

I met a really nice lady today and helped her grand daughter who has ALS find resources and will be posting the story about her and the way to help the family pay for all the medical care for her. I met her at Staples where I do work all the time and noticed her having printed signs with a pretty little girl on them and wanted to know more. The story about her will air as soon as I can get a photo of her. I also emailed the director of ALSA, an association that helps people with ALS and found a clinic for her and her family.  All these things are possible because I could and I simply did. I wish more people had that kind of attitude.

My nanny used to say, “What goes around comes around”, and I hope that some of the great things I did in my life, that I never got paid for or recognition for, come back my way and someone helps me now.

Whatever God you pray to, Christian, Native American Indian, Jewish or Buddhist-pray that I find a place to stay soon and better yet, if you know someone who either has a room I can stay in-in exchange for helping with cooking and housework and helping with the kids-let me know.

If you know a person who has been looking for someone who is stable mentally and financially-and who is a good cook and has a good sense of humor and a positive attitude, let me know. I want to sign a year or better yet more-lease. 3 vaults of my life that I pay on each month have been in storage since April and I would rather sit at my desk again in my office chair, cook in my gourmet kitchen and read the many books in my library. Make it so God and let this struggle end

Christmas is only weeks away and here I am watching cable TV-first I have seen of it in months, in a hotel I call home with no kitchen but a microwave, fridge, freezer in safe area. It is $70 a day that could go towards a month in a room in a house. There are cheaper two star hotels that are highly unsafe and dangerous and I have stayed in them but my blood pressure was elevated and I never got any sleep and when I heard a guy beating up a woman in the room next to me, I swore to God I would do everything humanly possible to find the best deal and find a way to pay the higher price in better hotels.

I didn’t know when I wrote about The Most Versatile Blogger Award this would come out but it did. Probably for the best.

I know I am special because have been going through all this without mentioning it to the world. I do know in one heart beat I help others and get such a great joy and high out of it.

Imagine what kind of things I could write and do if only I had one stable nice place to live with no worry?

    The possibilities are endless!

Please no ads folks. I get 1000’s of emails.

I wasn’t born to live in a hotel and need a home to live in because I am disabled with epilepsy. I also am too nice and too kind to have the guy I was living with hit me, but he did…which is what brought me to this hotel.
I have just kept myself absorbed in my work, in what matters and relentlessly contacting congress people and talking face to face with every friend I know on Facebook and elsewhere-and realizing that people, when you go through hell-with totally flaberghast you!

One friend, that I thought was a friend at least-heard about me in the hotel, the guy hitting me etc., things that would have at least got an “Are You OK?” …or something showing that you have a heart and soul and a pulse-got nothing. Just talk of sugar cookies and setting her opulent table with gold baubles on hanging everywhere. I am not jealous because I have all that “stuff” in storage waiting to come out and be united with me.
I call myself DISPLACED AND NOT REALLY HOMELESS. I CAN PAY $500 TOWARDS RENT COME JANUARY FOR ANONE WHO LIVES IN ORANGE COUNTY AND I CAN FURNISH THE PLACE FOR A CLEAN, MATURE, SENSIBLE PERSON WHO IS STABLE MENTALLY AND FINANCIALLY-WHO DRIVES AND DOESN’T SMOKE.

Since I am in a position where I have the whole world, or at least 73 countries reading what I write on a monthly basis, I am using this podium to get ACTION-for me.

My future means a lot to me and I tried to do everything right.
I am the only kid who got any college degree, let alone two.
I know that my best years are still yet to come and once I am settled in a place I can move onward and put the ugly past behind me. That is what I need and crave is closure.

Does anyone know a social worker in Orange County who can pull some strings for me and get me the benefits and help me live to the fullest of my ability?

Any information would be beneficial here and it is all appreciated.

If you read to the end of this sentence, you are better more precious to me than gold-but are like platinum because you care about what I write and you care about allowing the lady who writes the words you read to live the best life she is able within her abilities.

That is really all you can do in life.
All I want for Christmas is the hope of a nice place to live and know I can build my future and to know I can see my mother Ramona any time I want for as long as I live. She is the only living family member that is worth anything and without her, I wouldn’t be the person I am with the talents I possess reaching out to the people I do.

For my mother to see-Ramona Lea Le Pore

Thanks Mom. I PICTURE YOU AND THINK OF YOU OFTEN AND THERE ISN’T A DAY THAT GOES BY THAT I DON’T PRAY YOU ARE ALRIGHT AND THAT YOU THRIVE IN SPITE OF THE HATRED MY SISTER BRENDA SPEWS MY WAY BY NOT LETTING YOU KNOW I CALLED or GIVING YOU THE PHONE.

We are close and will always remain close and nobody will ever stop that. I will always keep my word and make you proud and the philosophy you gave me about “putting my mind to do anything I wanted has paid off”. People read what I write all over the world now on 9 web sites and I constantly mentor young kids I run into. It is all because of you mom and your kind and gentle spirit.

I got you something for Christmas-here and you will love it. I will make it to see you and sorry I couldn’t see you for Thanksgiving, but that was due to Bunker who erases every call I put in. He is a walking ball of hatred and a horrible human being who I hope realizes the damage he did to you and I and pays for it the rest of this life-if even in his conscious.

Mom and I at The Bella Terra Mall when I dressed her up and took her all around to meet the many people I know there-business people etc. Mom has a magic about her. I saw people smile that day at Whole Foods Market who never smiled in their life. When we went to dinner, Starbucks- I remember it like yesterday and mom's memory is way better than people give her credit for. I want to have more times like it.

“You have been on my mind and in my heart all year long. I couldn’t see you or talk to you because I was struggling in some of the most dangerous cities nearly on the street at times. Just like the Kelly Clarkson song “What doesn’t kill ya makes you stronger”, well it did and I went through the ring of fire looking back on the rubble behind me. I was strong to begin with though.”

I have friends who are going to help me get to Marino Valley where you live and even though Bunker and Brenda ban all the calls that come through and pretend I don’t exist-I do and have never forgotten about you one bit. It has been one year since I have seen or talked to my mom-and I used to see her 3 times a day, making meals for her-because I could and I wanted to.

When the Pope & Catholic Church Changes So Does The World

Allowing Families to Know Be the Boss of How Many Children They Have

(Removing the Stigma that Birth Control is a Sin)

    pope_francis_ll_130313_ssh

I hesitated printing this piece in fear that I would outrage too many people. This is America though, and I have discussed this with people all over and gotten many supporters of this view-point. In life, you can worry about how many people you outrage and never do anything, feel anything or speak your mind. This is mine, and I believe that no matter who you are, you should be accountable for what you do.

The Catholic Church is not the only one that makes people feel like they are committing sins for using birth control; many other “religions” do that same thing. As you know, religions were created by men, and women have the babies! I don’t think one “religion” was created by a woman, was there?

I placed education first, couldn’t have kids for medical reasons and knew that when I was a kid. I grew up quickly and knew the real facts of life at nine years old. I taught children for 20 years and love children and stand up for their rights all the time. You don’t have to give birth to a child to care about them as a whole, any more than I need to give birth to dolphins or whales to care about the sea and clean water.

    BoywithFatherBlackSilouette3.2013

I hope I get more supporters than nay sayers. I hope that people think about the crux of the problem with our welfare system and how it taxes our country. By going to the root of the problem, or at least one of the biggest ones-the guilt trip organized religions (Catholicism etc.,) place on families who might otherwise make wiser decisions for themselves if they weren’t made to feel guilty.

It should be a crime if you allow yourself to get pregnant and know you have no way to support the child. All of a sudden there is another life on the line, one too small to speak for itself.-a baby. Birth control is not a sin nor is planned parenthood. It is called intelligent, responsible and what needs to be taught at early ages to decrease teen out-of-wedlock pregnancies and reduce abortions, which I do not agree with. THE SIN IS NOT USING BIRTH CONTROL AND LIVING LIKE ANIMALS WITH NO MORAL CONSCIOUS ABOUT WHAT YOU DO.

When my ex husband, who is a rocket scientist didn’t pay me alimony for 2 years and made it impossible for me to find him, I was introduced into the welfare system and when I saw how many children were being raised by children, and I saw how the CHILDREN WERE LOSING. IT WASN’T FAIR TO THEM. We need to address this on a broad scope in terms of family planning classes held within various churches. It is part of life and to avoid it is like burying our heads in the sand, any more than dodging sex education is an important part of being an adult.

Imagine instead that every family could choose how many children they had, without guilt, or being made to feel evil for being responsible and doing what they know is right for them. I think the Church medals in areas they shouldn’t. My mother and father were married for 63 years and it would be been 64 if my father had lived to see it. The “church” didn’t recognize their marriage because my dad was married to another lady and she cheated on him when he was in the service. Was that his fault? He was only married a few months and mom was the wonderful lady who he married after and had four children with and yet they acted like he wasn’t good enough. It was not fair to him or my mother who was like a saint-rearing his children. She wanted to become Catholic and wanted to go to communion together, but the “church” ruined that goal. Why would they do that?

Where children are concerned, I want the churches of the world to think QUALITY RATHER THAN QUANTITY. Having a dozen kids that the parents cannot afford doesn’t make it right. I don’t think God thinks that is a good thing, when they have to rely on government assistance to feed them. That isn’t how it is supposed to work.

    children-multiracial

I would rather the parent have one or two that they can raise, teach, clothe and show values to, spend time with and make proud one day-that they can afford financially to support.  That child will thank his or parents when he becomes an adult that they did that because it allowed him to be the doctor or engineer or nurse that they did.

Removing the stigma of making birth control a sin has to go because it is stupid, out dated and was created by people who don’t live in the real world. Those who created those laws were men, because NO WOMAN WOULD MAKE A LAW THAT WOULD NOT GIVE HER THE RIGHT TO GIVE BIRTH OR PREVENT HERSELF FROM HAVING ANY MORE. WHEN A WOMAN GETS TO BE 30 IT BECOMES DANGEROUS TO HAVE CHILDREN AND BIRTH DEFECTS ARE INCREASED. A WOMAN IS NOT A HORSE THAT YOU PUT OUT TO PASTURE OR A “BABY MAKER” THAT JUST KEEPS ON GIVING. Thinking in this way goes back to the dark ages, and in 2013 we are very sophisticated people and I hope that my words ignite a light bulb of understanding that wasn’t there before on this.

I mention that because the Pope is simply a man who wears a big hat and outfit and gets really great meals each night, but he is human and makes mistakes. The Church makes mistakes and has made thousands of them through the years. As the years change and people become enlightened, things change and I hope I put this story in the hands of the heads of The Catholic Church so they can think in a way they never thought before.

I make some valid points here that cannot be denied and children are not like gifts under a Christmas tree-in the same way they are always called “Gifts from God”. They are gifts but each child earns the right to have two parents and be raised with not only love but the funds required for clothing, education, and other important considerations.

Birth control is a very needed thing in that it allows parents to do what Planned Parenthood has known all along-control how many children one brings into a family. Many women like myself had health conditions stopping them from having children. If they would have had kids it could be fatal and caused great health risks and also caused birth defects. I am not the only woman in the world who is can say this, meaning the Catholic Church in general needs to re-examine their stance on parenting and what it means to be a good parent. Also, what is a parent’s role? If a parent’s role is to crank out as many kids as possible like some kind of contest, at the risk of all, then by all means forget birth control.  However, if a parent’s role is to raise the most intelligent young people who are raised in a positive environment, with role models that urge them to further their educations, then the fewer the children, the more attention can be given on the few the parent has.

I believe the parent’s role is to bring out the best you have to offer in that child’s life. A parent is a lot like a gardener nurturing that little bloom to one day blossom with love, tender loving care and hopefully imparting every positive element in the two parent’s personalities.

Many never think along those lines, and just succumb to animalistic sex for sex sake acts, bringing kids into the world who have kids for parents and due to the immaturity of the parent, the child is coming into the world at already a disadvantage.

It makes me sad to think of it.

The Church in general, no matter what faith, needs to teach and set better examples for the young men and women, who at sixteen already have two children when they are not even adults! I cannot imagine what kind of parent would allow this.

When the Pope Changes and Catholic Church Change So Does the World

Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

I was so happy to hear on Fox News about the church endorsing stem cell research. It is encouraging, as a Catholic, do hear that the church is waking up and getting out of the dark ages. Part of being responsible adults is to welcome evidence in science that can help us live longer, overcome disease like Alzheimer’s Disease-which my mother has and I care about finding cures for and preventative treatments for, among many others.

When the video played I began speaking this and then I opened up MS Word and the words I have been rehearsing about the issues presented here began flowing out.

Along with the new Pope Francis, I hope this is an omen or a sign that he is bringing with him a new more enlightened mind. He is the leader and the whole Catholic Church follows what he says and orders. I have been very unhappy with the pope going to third world countries and telling them to not use condoms when they are dying from being overpopulated. That is like telling them to kill themselves. UNICEF and other organizations invest their time and effort and send men and women to educate and show less educated countries about birth control.

Birth control is a necessary thing to employ to be responsible adults no matter where you live. I came from a family of 6-me being the youngest, two brothers and my sister the oldest. I learned what birth control was when I was nine years old and where babies really came from because I was too intelligent to buy the story about the stork dropping babies from the sky! I was diagnosed with epilepsy at nine years old and was a very sickly child and didn’t know what health was until much later at 14 years old when Tegretol came around.

The point I am making is, there is never a young age to learn about the body, what it does and also what things to prevent. I taught children piano for 20 years and care about their welfare, their lives and their futures. I couldn’t have children due to having epilepsy. It would have caused great birth defects on the child and the risk was too high. So, my husband and I knew having children was out. That is alright. Having children is a choice and not right for all. More people should be honest with this and know what kind of person they are, because many shouldn’t have them and the child suffers.

There are laws and a new way of thinking that I would like the Catholic Church and other Christian based religions to embrace: It is not a sin to use birth control but a gift to the child:

    1. No child should be raised without a mother and father
    2. No child should be brought up with someone with no job
    3. No child should be raised with a family that cannot afford it

By not allowing parents to use their own common sense and making it a “sin” to use birth control pills or other means of contraception, you are forcing them to bring more and more children they cannot afford nor take care of for what reason? Does the priest take care of them or have them? I have seen countless women with 8 kids who look like they are nearly dead giving birth to children they don’t have the money to feed, the father has to work over time to feed and provide for them, and their patience is gone. The child is losing, they will never get a college education and it is a triple loss. All these children cost tax payers and other Americans $800 per child when they go on Welfare because they cannot afford them!

I know this because my ex husband didn’t pay me alimony for two years and I went to get temporary financial assistance to help me live and pay for my needs. I was told “I needed a kid to get money from the government and for me to get a kid!” I couldn’t believe how ridiculous that sounded and also how unfair it was and how it went against my civil rights as a human being. We should give honors to people who are responsible in this country and who care about doing the right thing for all.

Birth control, if not used responsibly, will force families to continue to procreate way past what they can afford, forcing them to be parents long after they should, setting a child up for failure with no funds available for education, and making the mother die earlier than what she would have otherwise. A woman should be in control of her body and should be able to say when she is giving birth. That is a basic civil right that no priest anywhere has the right to alter. I would get millions of fathers to agree on this and I have discussed this with families I have seen in the welfare offices and they would sign any documents related to this and vote for it.

I have seen this worst in the Latino communities with Mexican young women who should be in college and school and instead they are pushing a stroller with 3 young kids! To all the priests and religious leaders who don’t give birth to the children, nor do pay for them or raise them, open your minds to allow families to be free to decide how many children they raise. It is smart, responsible and fair to the child. The Catholic Church was man-made and men made the laws and in 2013 with our welfare system being taxed to the nines and in California we are going broke paying the $800 per child when simply people could use common sense learn to pay the consequences of what they do. It makes me mad when I see a child lose in this scenario. If you think on this, you will see that we have to stop this vicious cycle and make it a crime for anyone to bring a child into the world if you are not married. In order to do that, you need abstinence and birth control. Once married, you need birth control or every family will have 13 kids and that is ridiculous. The Catholic Church needs to wake up, grow up and enforce teaching about what it is, Planned Parenthood and other issues related to being a mature adult. Abortion is not the answer. It is all in prevention, and that is where birth control and also teaching to young adults what they are signing up to when they consent to have sex with someone. It is greatly needed.

    PopeFrancisKissingGuyinWheelchair3.2013

I take the bus, due to almost being killed in a car crash from having a seizure behind the wheel 15 years ago. I see at least a dozen young women who have no idea how to treat a child, how to raise them, and they are about 16 years old with 3 kids. Mexicans are predominantly Catholic. The Catholic Church needs to address this issue, and on the broad spectrum, needs to open its minds and think and contemplate on the words I have said here, and strive for creating a TRIPLE WIN. THE CHILD WINS, THE PARENTS WIN AND WE CREATE FAMILIES THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES WITH THE BUDGETS THEY HAVE AND NOT MAKE THEM FEEL THEY ARE COMMITTING A SIN WHEN THEY USE BIRTH CONTROL MEASURES AND INSTEAD APPLAUD THEIR RESPONSIBLE MATURE ACTIONS.

We currently have a Triple Loss:

    1. The child loses because the parents have too many children and no one child ever gets the right amount of attention he or she needs to grow up into a responsible, well-adjusted mature adult.
    2. The parent’s are over taxed and usually cannot afford the huge family they have due to stupid archaic view points on planned parent hood
    3. Society and the United States lose because we are paying for each one of those children, all for the price of what? Is God happy that each child doesn’t get a college education? Does it make God happy that the mother feels like she should be put out to pasture from having one child a year, having grey hair and having no energy and no time for herself? She has nothing more to give because she has given it 8 times over.
    4. The family’s bank account cannot support having one child a year, which is what happens when the dark ages method of the rhythm method is used. My sister had two of her children using that. It doesn’t work.
    5. Believe me, God would be happier to have fewer children who get more attention and who have parents who can raise them, provide for them and who have better temperaments due to the added attention given by the mother and father. The grown child now adult will Thank God for allowing him to grow up and have every amenity a child should have to enable him to get a college education and become the doctor or engineer he did.
    6. Without rethinking this Triple Loss Scenario, you are forcing families to stay in the minority category and remain on Welfare with others paying for their existence forever. And you are the root of the problem.
    7. A lot of thought went into this and the solution to how to correct this terrible problem.

Please read this and read it again and make copies and pass it onward.

I might run for office one day. I have had people say they would vote for me.

Don’t Chase People-Instead Try to Attract The Right People-Reflect What You Want to Find

Be What You Want to Attract

    By Paulette Le Pore Motzko

    March 22, 2013

Instead of chasing people who could care less, simply invest your precious time on those who already know your worth. This is a gift to yourself and them. There are too many people who already like you and feel you are worthy, without a “sell-job”. Everyone has their special innate talents and gifts and personalities. Some personalities clash like cymbals such as my brothers and I who have tempers and are like bulls in china closets putting always on the gruff exterior.

We all play our own melodies that reflect what we believe, what we love and what we value. When you put them all together it plays a kind of “music of our soul” and who we are. Why play punk music or acid rock when you want Bach instead? Why listen to John Cage in dissonant notes of 21st century modern music when you can instead listen to French Impressionistic Claude Debussy or Big Band Glenn Miller, or Henry Mancini, Montovani, or popular music? We are all byproducts of our upbringings and what we learn and grow into, like flowers. Some don’t get proper fertilizer and end up as weeds, and aren’t pretty at all but grow out all over the place.

Write down the things that matter to you in values and then make sure you show that to people in every word that comes out of your mouth. If you value people who “do what they say they do”, then make darn sure you do the same, or your integrity will be lost forever.

I hope you have enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Somehow no matter what I am going through, when I write it is as though all the concepts and imagery all come together like a grand symphony.

Remember in life nothing is constant and things are constantly changing around us, just look at the earth as a grand example. We are rotating on an axis every moment of the day but it is so gradual it is indistinguishable.

Keep what you love around you-in terms of people and things and you will be a much happier and healthier person.

That last sentence when employed and put to work in you life can save you health problems, aggravation and also dusting a million objects around your house that you didn’t even care about in the first place.

When everything in your world, including people, earn their place in your hearts and world by being something or someone that gives you joy back, your life takes a new meaning.

What do you hope to attract in your life?

Is there anyone you were chasing without knowing it? Don’t force life or people or situations. There are too many people that cannot imagine a world without you in it to focus on the few that aren’t intelligent enough you include you in theirs.

I wish you health, peace, serenity and enough money to keep you happy and pay for what you need and some left over to enjoy some of what you want!

Money isn’t evil-it removes stress and is a tool to accomplish things in life. It is what you do with the money that makes it bad or good, much like the internet.

Some People Feel the Rain and Others Just Get Wet….

    Image

Truly Seeing The World Around You by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

    Copyright March 2013

I love what this said in that it illustrates that some really don’t truly live but go through life blinders on to the sights, scents and amazing small miracles they encounter. When we open up our world to the sights and scents and all the experiences in life, we truly live.

For instance, here is a great exercise to become better at TRULY SEEING LIFE. PRETEND YOU ARE EXPLAINING WHAT YOU ARE SEEING AND EXPERIENCING TO SOMEONE WHO IS BLIND.

I had a great friend when I was younger who was blind and I used to explain in glorious detail what I was seeing for her and only wished she could see what I did. I also had a client who was blind and had epilepsy and he called me for help when I was the CEO/Founder of The Epilepsy Connection. It was Friend & Family Day at The Braille Institute and none of his family wanted to go with him, so I became his family and was honored.

If you have never volunteered your time at The Braille Institute, or been there it will literally “open your eyes” to some of the most courageous and intelligent people you will ever encounter. I wore a blind fold to simulate blindness and then cooked (or at least tried to) with the blind fold on. It didn’t go very well because I had no grasp of where things were from each other and I realized what blind people have to go through on a daily basis to do even the most simple things.

Then I wore goggles to simulate being partially blind, which was worse than the other, because things looked distorted and out of focus. Then they gave me a can to walk with and we were supposed to find our way home, with an assistance, who gave directions and described in glorious detail what I was coming up against and allowing my ears to make up for my eyes.

In the center of The Braille Institute in Anaheim on Dale is a beautiful fountain with crystalline waters flowing from it. I have always loved fountains and the charm of them but had no idea there was a distinct reason why the fountain was there. Do you know why it was there?

It was to give orientation to all the people there who had vision impairments-blind or partially blind. They could sense where they were from the center of the building.  My senses were not in tune with it and I never really got a sense for where I was at, but I had an even deeper appreciation of people who were blind, who taught many of the courses and looked just like anyone else. Epilepsy and blindness have several things in common:

    1. They are permanent disabilities

    2. They are for the most part invisible to others

    3. They make those whose lives have been touched by it gain a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

    4. Anyone can acquire epilepsy or blindness if the right set of circumstances arose

In my case, I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 9 years old and was a very sick child passing out all over the place and it took awhile to find a medicine gave me the control I now have. Consciousness, uninterrupted normalcy was a highly appreciated thing and compassion was a thing I learned at a very early age, along with big words, and hanging around with people who were 30 years my senior because the “kids” my age didn’t understand what I was going through and were not nice.

Going back to the name of this post/article, the next time you go outside on a pretty day, pick up a pen and paper and write down what you see. I mean, really write it down as though you are seeing for the first time and are explaining to someone who cannot see. It will change your world forever.

    St. Patrick’s Day 2013

Focus on Problems & You’ll Have Problems-Focus on Possibilities Instead

Focus on Problems & You'll Have Problems-Focus on Possibilities Instead

Make Opportunities, Set Goals and Make it Happen.

Make a list of the problems that have been bugging you for the past month or week or year on a simple lined piece of paper.

(I know that computers exist and people type all the time like me typing this sentence. There is something about going back to simpler times of a pen and lined paper that makes this exercise more effective.)

Once you have your list compiled, begin writing and creating solutions to your problems like this:

    1. Problem 1

    2. Problem 2

    3. Problem 3

That is enough to work with. Hopefully you don’t have more than 3 problems, if you do then press onward and keep itemizing them until the paper holds the baggage instead of your shoulders and mind.

Then under each number list the possible solutions like this in a, b, c, d, e, like an outline.

    1. Problem

    Solution a

    Solution b

    Solution c

Look at the scenarios you created and choose the best, easiest, to-the-point solution that is the most effective without hurting another person or causing damage on another, that is!

If you have bleeding ulcers caused by a human being, then simply remove that person out of your life and try to find people who are more considerate to your well-being and thoughtful to you.

(I had that happen to me and couldn’t afford the ulcer pills which were $20 a piece, so I simply removed the root of the problem! Doing that removed 3 people out of my world, but I got better really quickly!)

If there are situations in your life that cause problems, list them all down and then do the same thing as in the prior exercise. Find solutions and then apply them in your world.

Things like this can take years of counseling and throw them out the window by simply believing in yourself enough to only associate with positive and loving people and anyone that drags you down or is verbally or physically damaging to you-simply wean yourself away from them permanently.

After all, you have one life to life and then we hope we contribute something positive and lasting to the world once we are gone. How can we do this unless we choose the best friends and care about ourselves enough to do that. The better we treat ourselves the better work we will do, and hence the more successful we will become. My mother taught me that years ago. God bless her Ramona Lea Le Pore.

I wouldn’t be “me” without her, which is why I will continue fighting for her welfare amidst hateful siblings who have their eye on money only and not much of anything else. They are blinded by dollar signs of cashing the house in and I only hope and pray all the proceeds go to my mother’s care for Alzheimer’s disease which is a whopping four thousand dollars a month!I will be moving to Tucson in a few weeks and will be living a better quality life there but I will not forget her and will make frequent trips here to southern CA to see her, my many friends I have built over the last 40 years and the many places I will miss once I am gone.

I know how outgoing I am and how quickly I make friends and the places I am looking at are far better for me than here and the resources for disabled people are far greater than here. I am always open for POSITIVE CHANGE AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO!

Life is a Succession of Lessons Which Must Be Lived to be Understood

    Image

When I was a child of 9 years old I was diagnosed with complex partial epilepsy and little would I know that it would take many years to find a drug named Tegretol to find control in my freshman year of high school before I knew what health meant.

My best friend in 5th grade was a blind smart girl named Cheryl Lightcap, and I have always thought she was aptly named. She spoke with a southern accent and sat in the back of the class with her braille machine. That year the book drive came around and I ordered the story about Helen Keller’s life. On the back of the book it had the braille alphabet on it and I would practice trying to read it and was always fascinated by my friend Cheryl who would so effortlessly read pages and pages of heavy brown braille paper.

Her hands were calloused from reading all the books in braille she did. I was so proud to walk with her and amazingly she could touch what I was wearing and know what color it was-light or dark. I would describe what I saw to her and tell her about the day, if it was sunny and what the kids were doing-other than us.

I would bring cook books and read them in a pink book bag and find a table to read in. The kids didn’t like me because I was different and that stayed that way until Tegretol was introduced in my freshman year of high school. I was able to attend school with the rest of the kids, not miss so much school and not have to work quite so hard. Then boys who made fun of me in years past wanted to “be my friend” of which I wanted no part of. I was the same person, just healthier and older.

I always knew it wasn’t our purpose on earth to suffer and that even though we weren’t understood or treated as the same we were the smartest kids in the class and we had each other and hope; I knew though I learned big words at an early age I was still only a child and I had my whole life ahead of me.

I remember for “Show and Tell” one year in Mrs. Acosta’s 3rd grade class playing the piano and showing the kids how it worked. For a day I was treated better than the rest and the kids were in awe and Mrs. Acosta asked me what conservatory I studied at and I told her I learned how to play myself after my mom taught me 4 chords. She looked puzzled. I still play and have written 50 songs on piano that are copy right protected in the Library of Congress and would love the world to hear them one day.

I wish I knew where Cheryl Lightcap is today. I have searched for her numerous times but she probably married and changed her name. I do think of her often and the special times we had together. I also think of the “Gifts She Gave Me”…of courage, wisdom, persistence, perseverance, and somehow it made what I went through not so bad when I saw that she couldn’t see the pictures in the cook books I brought, and how I wanted her to! I remember how Mr. Hill yelled at me for holding her hand and explaining the world to her and always breaking us up. I think Mr. Hill was a PE teacher and shouldn’t have been teaching at all. It seemed he never took one Child Psychology course and had no heart most of the time.

There are many lessons I learned in life.

    1. Savor the now and don’t dwell on the past. This is all we have. Give yourself the Present Called Life.

    2. Try not to judge others too harshly until you know their story.

    3. Make the most of your talents and abilities and down play the rest.

    4. Don’t replay negative things others have said about you-it isn’t worth it and it isn’t fair to yourself!

    5. Treat others as you want to be treated.

    6. Ask others the magic words “How Are You?” and really mean it when you ask them. It probably was the first time anyone asked them all day.

    7. Strive to make yourself better, smarter and happier each and every day so you can look back with no regrets.

What lessons have you learned in life so far?

Would you be willing to share a few with the readers of Totally Inspired Mind? I would love it if you did.

    peers into your life,

there lies a path to follow.

    Delicate whispers can be heard

if you listen to the sound of your heart

and the voice that speaks within you.

If you listen closely to your soul,

you will become aware of your dreams
