Me choosing scrumptious subtlety sweet Italian Lemon Cream Cake at Fellini’s Italian Restaurant at the Stratosphere by candlelight late at night
which is something I typically don’t do as I go to bed pretty early and get up pretty early, but something told me to just go out and enjoy my Thanksgiving the day before all the crowds blocked the freeway getting down to the strip today on Thanksgiving. So, since I took a nap and got extra sleep I was able to go out down to Roxy’s Diner where I have lots of friends who work there, and it’s always a wonderful time there and I had an open faced turkey sandwich, which was almost a Thanksgiving dinner! It was so big that I’m going to be in the leftovers today.
The photo that miraculously had enough power, even on power saver to make possible.
I didn’t take my usual three batteries for my Note 4, and didn’t really want to sit at Starbucks doing work like I usually do, OR carry a bunch of “junk” with me that weighs a ton, like I usually do. We all need balance in life and we need to maximize every area of our life be it personal , work, spiritual and physical exercise too.
It’s good to do something out of the ordinary and be spontaneous once in awhile and communicate with people, not take an earpiece purposely, even if you like to listen to music on a playlist through the day or whatever, but just connect with life and the living.
I know I made everyone else’s Thanksgiving extraordinary that I went out of my way to communicate with in a totally genuine way, and every time I did that Joy came back at me like I have a boomerang.
They hire people who are really wonderful and kind and go out of their way at The Stratosphere anyway. It was fun to go up to police officers, security guards, people who were traveling from other states, people who sat alone, and people who are doing heavy manual labor jobs and purposely wish them a very blessed Thanksgiving.
People who do that kind of work NEED KINDNESSS most of all because they do their job with smiles on their faces but quite often get lost in the shuffle of life.
It’s nice when one person looks their name tag and thinks enough of them to call them my name and let them know that they’re important. Things like that can make a difference in somebody’s life.
May you all have a most blessed Thanksgiving and carry the spirit of Thanksgiving with you every day throughout the year.

Yesterday morning at went out on the balcony with my favorite Starbucks Pike Peak coffee brewed in my Ninja Coffee Bar I bought myself for Christmas.
(The coffee maker has paid itself in dividends back for the joy that I’ve gotten out of it!)
My air conditioning had been malfunctioning for several days and it was hotter in my house than it was outside actually, and that’s saying a lot for Las Vegas Nevada weather!
Happy to report that two maintenance technicians came over yesterday and fixed it better then it ever worked since living here, thank God.
If you’re an air conditioning repair guy move to Las Vegas, Nevada and you’ll make a lot of money!
I opened the sliding door to my balcony, and to my surprise my weather app was wrong! Accuweather app said it was 90, WeatherBug said it was 77, that’s quite a difference.
Immediately uninstalled AccuWeather because I have to know what the weather is like because I will always be Southern California lady at heart. I simply cannot tolerate high heat so I do everything in the coolest parts of the day. Weather apps like WeatherBug , which is awesome and very accurate, help me plan what I do. It also outlines when the best times to do outdoor activities are, tells you what the allergies are for that day how much allergens are blowing around, and other helpful tips
Sure enough, I walk outside now my gosh it’s actually nice! (Just goes to show old-fashioned is better and common sense.)
Brave to the world I ventured outside and my pretty cotton housecoat with pockets in it, that covers me all up so I can be seen by my neighbors and the kids going to school…and just sat and listened. No earphones, no nothing but enjoying that moment and all the simple sensory sensations if it all….
I always pray to God the first thing my eyes open and I ruse to meet the day. First thing’s first always.
I pray that God will show me the way to best utilize the skills and abilities that he blessed me live in ways that will help people enormously.
God and I are a team as I go through life. He guides me after I ask for the wisdom and insight to be able to see when a prayer was answered. My actions combined with Divine Guidance mark my paths daily.
Outide in early morning, the mothers were taking their kids to school, as they did, they told me “Good Morning”….
The pigeons were doing there spring summer mating dances tomorrow birds and flight were circling like they were dancing in mid-air.
It was so nice and quiet, with no engine noise from the cars.
Take time to enjoy the sights, smells, and tastes in your days and nights. Absorb them as though you are a Human Sponge. Notice the small details that might be otherwise overlooked. Pay attention to your surroundings.
It is in the Zest for Living Life that the Greatest Things are Created. When you are inspired, your work will be too.

As I was reading the inside forward of the first of the series of Chicken Soup for the Soul books by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, I spotted this beautiful Chinese proverb which I will share with you because it’s enlightening in so many ways and it shows how we’re all connected on this planet and one thing has a chain reaction.
If there is Light in the Soul, there will be Beauty in the Person.
If there is Beauty in the person, there will be Harmony in the house.
If there is Harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.
If there is Order in the Nation, there will be Peace in the World.

God our Father, Giver of life,
We entrust The United States of America to your loving care.
You are The Rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Reclaim this land For Your Glory and dwell among Your people.
Send your spirit to touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that that accompany human freedom.
Remind your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will.
Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, patroness of our land, grant us the courage to reject the culture of death.
Lead us into the New Millennium of life.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Julianna Snow’s Light will never ever grow dim. I am saddened that the world will not be graced by her presence any longer. For never having met her, she touched my heart and soul in a way nobody has.”

In my humble abode with books and teapots in view.
God bless your wonderful, sweet courageous soul Julianna Yuri Snow.
You touched my heart and I never got to meet you.
Your story touched me and because I am a caring lady, tears are streaming down my cheeks, which us not what you wanted, but I love tea parties too and only wished you could have experienced many MORE of them!
My most sincere condolences to the extraordinary Snow Family. You are as courageous as your sweet daughter, just in a different, supportive way.

” Jim Carrey is a Visionary and uses very empowering visualisations to have propelled himself from being homeless – but with very detailed dreams and goals of what he wanted his life to be- to living his dreams and a success story.
He now speaks in front of large groups of people at universities giving them advice on how to live, and telling them what he’s learned.
After you finish speaking he makes people feel like they can do anything- and with the right mindset you can.
You know you’re a leader and you know you’re doing something right when you can show others new ways of thinking and show them that they possessed inside what they sought all along.
I know as a piano teacher, I know a student will do well just because they have music inside their soul; it’s like its hard-wired in their system. I already know the students going to be successful before I even start teaching them.
