How can you add some “sparkle” to your day?

When was the last time you noticed everyone smiling in a room because of special things you said to the people who were in it?

A smile is a gift from God and more of them should be exchanged between strangers as we journey through life.

After all, a person is a “stranger” until you say “hello”.

What ways can you add some sparkle to your own day, making it more enjoyable?

What way can you add Sparkle to someone else’s day.

Simply being genuine and caring or noticing something subtle can make all the difference in the world.

Don’t ever be so wrapped up with yourself and the things you’re dealing with to not notice the people around you! The word for that is oblivious, and people who are totally self absorbed never truly experience the sights, sounds of living and special interactions with the people who they come in contact with.

Be 100% there and devote your total attention to whatever you do and whoever you’re with.

You’ll see the difference and your friends and family will appreciate that difference.

Have “Springtime in Autumn” by     Paulette L. Motzko & Watch “Forcing Paper Whites, a How-to Video with Glenwood Weber” on YouTube

I bought 20 beautiful large paperwhites about a month ago, and due to all the terrible weather events we had all over the world, they were delayed in the shipment. I contacted the people that I bought them from and one of the managers contacted me back and they were sent priority mail the next day.

Even though it’s Autumn here in Las Vegas, Nevada with very few if any fall leaves to be seen, I’m going to be creating “Springtime in Autumn” by forcing paperwhites indoors.

Bulbs are so easy to work with and you can keep them going for years. They’re awesome for a beginning gardener. Usually just plant them about 1/2 to 3 times deep of what the bulb size is; the planting directions will tell you.

Years ago in my first house in Sandy Utah, when I was married to the rocket scientist, Mark”s sweet and very generous grandmother Hazel Griffin sent us several hundred dollars worth of bulbs and I had fun playing them all over the yard in around the bhouse.

I kept those orchids going for many years after and they were absolutely gorgeous. There were jumbo gladiolus and red and yellow and tulips, because we got snow in Sandy, Utah which was 20 minutes away from Salt Lake City. It was just awesome living there. I wouldn’t do it now because of the high amount of snow Utah gets.  it’s great we can have a guy cleaning the driveway, and when you’re driving in a car everywhere you go. But for me who walks and uses lift and gets around a myriad of ways, it wouldn’t be logistically smart.  but I will always remember the extraordinary Panorama mountains and how it look like a painting, how clear it was from where we lived by the Wasatch mountains off to see the Capitol building we could see as clear as day. I would say that Sandy Utah Salt Lake City is the opposite of Las Vegas Nevada. They’re people with their doors open and as long as you were good people they were good to you. Here we have a high crime rate high fraud rate there’s weirdos and goofballs and drunks all over the place it’s the opposite of what that place was, and what many places are I like my place here and it is cheaper to live but there’s prices you pay for that.

Utah was beautiful country and that the Mormon people were so awesome so kind so nice because I learned all about there  and even though I didn’t believe what they did  we respected one another . I wish more people thought like that . You don’t have to agree with everybody just need to respect their viewpoints and their beliefs.

Around Christmas time at The Visitor Center, they spent about three months every year wiring lights all around Visitor Center it was absolutely gorgeous.
Back to the bulbs, you can keep bulbs going for years just by taking them out, if you live in an area where you can do daffodils outside, like I used to in Southern California, I naturalized them outdoors and my last house in Orange California with the now ex and, I had crocus coming up ‘the first to come up in the spring time and daffodils.

I love growing things this is the first place that I’ve had where I could actually do that and think of growing things once I learned how to do it here in the terribly hot  southwest desert.

I hope that by airing this video and buy me writing this, you’ll think of creating “Springtime at Autumn” where you live, and adding joy to your desk or your window sill by planting some really beautiful paperwhites

I ordered these around my birthday August 31st, which was the time they recommend to plant these. But, if you plant them (force them) indoors, you can have these going all year.

It’s kind of like having Springtime in your window sill are on your desk, which is what I’ll be having in about 2 weeks once I plant them.

I have everything but the little glass planter that you need to do these and gravel hydroponically.

I’m soon getting ready to head for church but I wanted to air this.

As I learn the world learns with me, and that’s just one of the cool thing about having a blog that’s read all over the world.

God bless you all.

If you’re Mormon, Muslim, Jewish, Agnostic, Atheist, Buddhist, and any other Christian faith, or don’t know what you believe, I bless you anyway and I hope that only good comes to you in every way.

We’re all the same on this planet and it really doesn’t matter. What matters is how you act and how you treat people it’s not the name your faith and it’s not how many times you go to church.

None of that matters what matters is who you are, what you do and what you bring to the world and what you want to leave the world as because you were in it.

Speak to your children as if they are the wisest, kindest, most beautiful and magical humans on Earth, for what they believe is what they will become. Brooke Hampton

That is exactly what my mother said to me all my life. She was my best cheerleader, my confidante, my motivator the sunshine and the sky on a beautiful summer stay and the brightest star that glimmers at night. I think her everyday for all of what she gave me: love, inspiration, her time, sharing ideas, sharing secrets that only the two of us knew because she trusted me implicitly.

This photo was a memory Facebook shared recently from about 6 years ago. It’s extra special because the photographer was my mother Ramona Le Pore. She and I were in my California kitchen sharing quality TIME, something I miss a lot now that she’s with Dad in heaven.

I know she still speaks through me whenever I see someone who looks downhearted and I share something with them or say something that cheers them up; mom used to do that all the time.

When you raise a child it’s a lot like gardening in the sense that you water them with love, kindness and hope to impart the best of yourself so that they can grow into a wonderful and a beautiful adult, unique from any other.

You’ll want to encourage them every chance you get when they will pay you back in dividends for the life they lead. Don’t ever talk baby talk to it your child because they’ll just repeat it like a trained parakeet for cockatiel that just repeats whatever it hears.

Validate your child’s worth by teaching them thanks that will help them comma and showing by your example how to lead a good life, and honest life full of kindness, compassion and love your neighbors.

My little baby cacti that I transplanted today, with all the love and tenderness in the world saying silent prayers that they would thrive in their new home.

My gopher plant that  is also a succulent and  is supposed to bloom with yellow flowers in the summer.

That’s what you want your kids to do with every good kind word you say to them. things like reading to your kids, congratulating them when they do well will make a huge difference in their lives forever.

You’ll help them BLOOM and THRIVE.

If I wrote my entire name, complete with my middle name, confirmation name, maiden name and then married name it would look something like this….

Paulette Ann Therese Le Pore Motzko.

I was confirmed in 2001 after reading prayers of my Nanny’s and seeing a St. Therese chaplet advertised in the church bulletin.

I sent for it and began saying the 24 Glory Be To The Father prayers, (one for each of the 24 years she lived), asking her to carry my intention’s to the Throne of God like a bouquet of sweet roses. Roses started appearing in places where no roses grew and always when I asked for something,  or the prayer would be answered.

That’s when I wanted to become confirmed, adding Therese to my name as a testimony to her influence in my life, which was very late for any Catholic.  I never cared about what any one else did,  but always stayed true to myself and genuine of heart. My Mother was my Sponsor with the Bishop. Those photos are stellar to look back on today.

Even if you’re not Catholic but Christian, Muslim, Jewish or any other faith; there is great merit to be gleaned in St. Therese’s wisdom-filled words.

Every Action Has a Chain Reaction in Life -Make Your Actions Great, Memorable and Lasting!

  • Make the things you’re involved with in life be positive chain reactions.
  •  Make people glad they know you.
  • Don’t be manipulative.
  • Don’t be a user.
  • Be a giver.
  • Don’t look for something every time you do something – good or positive for someone for no reason.
  • When you give someone a gift that’s what that means – it’s a gift. You’re not looking for something in return. If you are looking for something in return, then that means you are manipulative and you’re doing it because you expect something- and it’s not a gift it all is it?

Make your intentions genuine.

Be sincere.

Have integrity.

Have big picture ideas where you see the big picture of the entire world and much as the nose on your face.

Shoot for longevity in the projects you’re working on.

Genuinely try and help every client, as unique a’s they are.

When you open your mind and think of opportunities and what you can give, and ways you could help each client—great things happen.

Don’t compare ourself to what everyone else is doing. Think outside the box and think for yourself. Expand on your ideas.

If all you do is follow others, you could be following mediocrity! You want to be the one that leads the way to new, brighter Horizons!

Opportunities will arise that will appear as though if by Magic. I am a very spiritual, intuitive, Christian lady; I know that “magic” is GOD.

Blessings will surface effortlessly when you have your mind off the dollars you’re getting for the job. Instead, focus on building lasting relationships and building in creating extraordinary projects that lead to recurring work and passive income.

Life is way more than quick payoffs.

Success isn’t measured by how much money you have in the bank but rather what kind of human being you are and what your value system is. You can make good money and add value to other people’s lives and enjoy doing it. All those things are possible for you and I. You have to give it all some serious thought though, with no distractions.

Everything you do in life builds your reputation, and from your soul, your mind and attitude, your heart and your brain- your reputation will follow you the rest of your life and each positive, proactive action carves your reputation.

Do good.

Do great.

Do exemplary things.

Don’t be afraid of hard work because there is a huge payoff that will help more than you awaiting you.

Obamacare is the Law of the Land: CNN News. Commentary by Paulette Motzko

Ryan: Obamacare is the law of the land

http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/03/24/paul-ryan-on-obamacare-mobile-orig-llr.cnn

All I can say about this is “thank God”, because everyone was so anxious to rip a Landmark Insurance care system that was helping tons of people, including myself with epilepsy – a pre-existing illness not covered by any insurance ever in history until Obamacare.

Trump was so anxious to rip apart a system they gave people life literally and that includes cancer victims, people on dialysis and other very serious illnesses and disabilities. Obamacare covers real needs that are not something you take lighthearted.

Optimally, when people’s lives are at stake- great thought is involved before enacting a policy that could adversely affect countless people.

I was really disheartened by the way congress was handling things and so happy that the prayers and all of the things which I’ve been sending out if are heard.

Nobody  was coming up with what they were going to be replacing Obama Care with.

You always create the replacement first before you yank the program out of everybody’s hands.

It was ridiculous how they were handling it.

I am very happy that the popular vote won and nobody wanted to take the very needed program away.

Come on Congress! Use your brains all- of your brains together. I was married to a rocket scientist and you never ever destroy something that is working ever!

I don’t know what Republicans do but Jesus Christ have a heart!  Countless people who rely on this program to keep them alive! That is not kidding and I’m not exaggerating one little bit.

Republicans get your heads out of the sand and wake up to the reality and do the smart, responsible thing, the intelligent thing the triple winning things that shows you are human beings who care about the world and not just yourselves.

Replace Obamacare with a program that supersedes it.

If you can do that go ahead with the other program. Until then, don’t you even talk about taking it away or every disabled person in the United States will come knock on the Capitol building  door and picket.  after all, you can’t sue the federal government but you can sue people who work for the government and if people died as a result of losing Obamacare they have a right to sue every person that signed the bill to do it. And that is a fact look it up.

That just goes to say and it goes right along with everything else Trump is done. Trump is a Loose Cannon as far as I’m concerned; he doesn’t think before he does anything he doesn’t care about the big picture.

Trump just wants to be a dictator like Hitler and he doesn’t care about people or the big picture Community or people’s lives period just wants to see his name in the lights like the god-forsaken truck building it’s down in downtown Las Vegas and I just looked at it and I’m sickened by it.  you see people can have lots of money but if they’re horrid human being they’re not really successful. Trump trump is apathetic to human beings and their suffering. He just wants to walk on everybody he can so he can try to make it to the top. That parallels everything that he’s done in business and in his personal life. I hope he’s replaced with someone who’s a human being soon. I hope things escalate to the point where he’s actually impeached, which I would help make that happen obtaining signatures.

I would like to see our president represent the ideals that America is famous for including freedom for all people, any race color and create and that is not what Trump represents.

Good morning everyone. Inspire Just One Person Today. Mentor Another

You can make the difference in subtle and very profound ways, without even knowing it in another person’s life.

The next time you really listen to your intuition or inner voice as I call it, give this some true thought:

Think about someone you know who could use your expertise about skill, a new trade, or about a job that you’ve done for many years. Think about something very easy for you but hard for them. Step up to the plate in The Game of Life and offer to make their path a little smoother and a little easier.

If you know someone who is building a website or a blog, and you happen to be a master at it, show them how to do it just because you can. Don’t look for money or for compensation- but just do it because it makes you feel like you made a difference and it’s rewarding.

In life, you don’t have to make money on everything, but rather to make the difference and to be that extra spoke and wheel it makes that car run, or to mentor another and know from that moment on, the person you’re mentoring will have opportunities unveiled because of your actions is highly rewarding and empowering .

Next, find someone who looks really downtrodden, sitting all alone and say something to that person. Say something that’s 100% genuine AND LETS THEM KNOW THEY MATTER and that you know that theyre not indivisible.  To raise someone’s self-esteem and to make them aware of their true potential, to me, is one of the greatest satisfaction on the face of the Earth. It’s not just that one instance that is so intrinsic or special, but the POWERADE of that one instance leading to a chain reaction in a lifetime of change for that human being.

I know Dr. Leo Buscaglia had said in his fabulous book called LOVE, that I highly recommend, that I read in 1984 when I was in college that:

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, smile, a kind word, a listening ear. An honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

(I have the magnet on my fridge and I read it all the time of the power that every individual has to make an impact on other people’s lives.)

It is the ittle things in life like that make it special, for not just yourself but for them as well because they create that wonderful thing called “Triple Win”- I win, um, and Society wins. Just imagine that from moment Society wins period That’s a concept was introduced to me in the Master’s certification program at Chapman University back in 1997.

Here on March 12th 2017, when all of our clocks for fast-forwarded an hour due to daylight savings time, fast forward the result of your positive actions before you do them and see the big picture of your great works before you do them. Be a Visionary. Be a catalyst for positive change on a intimate, one-on-one basis and in your community too.

You be the huge difference in someone’s life and build some new friendships and bonds that will last a lifetime from your initiative.

God bless….

Stages of Our Lives Pass Like Changing Seasons by Paulette Le Pore Motzko New Version

Above images created by Paulette Le Pore Motzko, Copyright 2016

Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko.

Copyright February 2017

I accidentally erased the link that was on here going to a blog post called “Stages of Change”, and prior to finding the blog post in the wee hours this morning, I had the idea to write this.

I thought the entire story would be written in an hour or by about 3 p.m. now yesterday afternoon, Las Vegas, NV time. It’s 4:00 a.m. February 28th,  2017 and with a Pentatonix Concert on Neflix playing,  I have been embellishing the post with more images that I feel tell part of the story too and modifying what I wrote.

I hope you will enjoy it. Yesterday was my day to “Get Absorbed in The News Day” writing commentaries. I am an empath in many ways, and can only handle hearing about the news of the world every few days. I would never get anything done if I did otherwise. All I have to do is run into one god-forsaken story about Trump, who’s Triple loser in my book, especially after hearing he made fun of a disabled person. Anyone that would make fun of any kind of disabled person is a pathetic human being. Trump’s animalistic, racist and self demeaning behavior boggles my mind. Yes,  I know he tries to demean other people but all he succeeds and doing it’s just lowers himself to increasing new levels of mediocrity.  I want him impeached to preserve the integrity of the United States as an American citizen. He simply makes us look bad in the eyes of other nations.

Enough of my political view points, that were not in the original post,  but I don’t stand alone in my feelings.

One of my golden rules in life is to be genuine and totally authentic. People respect that. When it comes to followers and buying followers  I don’t . All mine are real and represent real, living, breathing , wonderful people  who I have impressed somehow, or I’ve inspired, or empowered, made laugh, entertained,  or they look forward to something that I write, my original images,  or they like just me in general and my persona. My followers are real people who follow me  because I am REAL and put on no pretenses. Anything other than that is just fake in my book, and I’m working on two books currently.

I get asked all the time you want to buy some followers they say why? I have my own real ones from hard work  writing what I feel is good content. I think any industry they call that  organic. As a writer I call it smart because it’s how I know what people LIKE. IF everything is fake and contrived, it doesn’t reflect anything real but it’s just a mere illusion of popularity

When ever I see Trump’s face, one word comes to mind- impeachment. I sincerely hope that happens so the disasters and hate crimes nationwide he instigated can end. The United States needs to think of our progress rather than regression. I wish Trump wasn’t really and instead a really bad nightmare ,  nut we all wake up and he’s still there unfortunately!
Like many of my stories, posts and pictures; they are going through a creative evolutionary process, contantly changing or improving, like their creator me! We all change everyday just a little bit, even though we can’t see the changes, we still do. The great thing about that is it we all have a say in how we change,  and in what ways we change. You just have to want to change then catapult your want with action to make it a reality.

Above photo taken by my friend Martha the general manager of The Canonita-Mexico City Soul Food. Photo editing by Paulette Motzko.

Just like the seasons are now changing from winter to spring, this article is changing with every word I write.

I hope the finished product has you look at not only me in a new way, but life in general in a new way and directs you to a newfound realization of the power you possess in it.

Embrace change. It us the only constant in life.  Those who do the best in life ADAPT.

Much like a surfer on a surfboard riding the wave, those that master the “Art of Living”, ride the wave called LIFE. We can learn from the quick reflexes of the surfer, adjusting what we do in correlation to what’s the way  was coming our way.

When I was younger I hadn’t discovered my full potential yet and didn’t see the world from a big picture vantage point yet. That was to be uncovered and made visible over time. I was a very sick, misunderstood kid that grew up in the 60’s, at a time before the time “bullying” was invented or before people cared to do something about it at least.

My nanny came to live with us when I was nine, the same age I was diagnosed with epilepsy. The piano she brought with her would soon become my best friend. It took until high school at 14 to be invented for me to know what size your freedom was.  Until the time kids were just too mean spirited stupid to ever give me a chance as human being, let alone as a friend.  I wrote music on that Henry Ford. Miller piano and read lots of cookbooks and passed the time figuring out what I was going to make and cook, analyzing recipes as though it were a novel envisioning  what I’d make  when I grew up and the parties that I would have and how awesome it would be…….

Light an aromatherapy candle and find out how you can tap into what’s inside your SOUL.

I have always found lighting a candle is a way to connect to a hidden, very special light planted in my soul.

Chances are, if you try it, you will discover it too.

Before you know it, when you start connecting with your Spiritual Source, you’ll find a light that you can protect outward at the world, and the world will be brighter as result of it. If your light shines brilliantly it’s own special way, the light will never go away as long as the World Turns. If you bring something to the world nobody has ever seen before that has great merit,  you’ll be memorable enough that your memory and good you did will “shine” like the aurora borealis.

The older I get the more I focus on the good I can give rather than what I can get and options and opportunities open like flowers in the Spring.

Wisdom Story: “The Hedgehogs”-The best relationship is not one that brings together perfect people.

    Wisdom Story: “The Hedgehogs”
    —————————
“It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold.

The hedgehogs, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions.

    Image from Pinterest, author unknown.

After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth.

Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.

The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person’s good qualities.”

Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate

I was trying to put into words the term for when you do something just because it is right but not because it EASY or THE STATUS QUO.  A fellow writer and blogger friend of mine called it “moral courage” the other day.

We are all connected on this big, water covered planet we call earth. There is only one of them, so if we mess it up or the people who inhabit it, we never have a chance to go back and fix it. Life on earth as we know it is a “one shot deal” so we better get it right the first time and quit living as though everything is expendable.

    image

We have a throwaway society anymore and people and the apathy towards people in general has gone along with the trash we throw away. It shouldn’t be and I am not saying that all people are apathetic, because of course they are not. There are just many who could do far more than they do for others they meet in everyday life.

Once the water systems are polluted, what do we do?

    image

Just these thoughts are good ones to ponder in terms of how we should be making sure there are no oil spills killing our fish and wildlife and ruining the water.

    image

Human beings have a lot in common with the earth in that they are both mostly composed of water. Without it, all life ceases to be.

What about bombs and the warfare, chemical or otherwise? Since I was married to a rocket scientist and he was the master of logic and science; since we were married for fifteen years, I chose to take with me the best of what I learned and the best of our memories together. Why throw a bomb that will kill thousands of innocent women, children, and ruin the land around it, making it impossible to plant anything-just to wipe out that one “target”? It isn’t logical to me.

    image

    image

    image

Why not find and train more people who speak the languages of the countries we are fighting right now, or at least have our military people in like Afghanistan and Syria?

Try something you haven’t tried before.

Success models are made up of prototypes that worked. Once you know the model, you can strive to create one that works as well or supersedes it.

How about our budget that the so-called great leaders in the United States of America have concocted?

    Above wallpaper image from Zedge.

There has not been any trace of anyone from the two Bush’s to Reagan who has ever tried to come up with a budget that would start paying off the debt already incurred. Obama keeps spending and China owns more of America. It’s like a dirty American secret that nobody wants to take accountability for.

Will our next president of the United States make sure the priorities are in the right places? I certainly hope so, but rather than seeing human beings who invented great leadership skills, I see Trump as an overgrown brat who tragically never grew up. I see Clinton with major trust issues going in the office, after breaching national securiy. Wish you did with a lot more than just sharing emails! People lost lives because of those emails and that cannot be overstated.

I haven’t sat through one debate becauase it is not one by true definition.  A debate is where people are asked intelligent, hard-hitting questions and they answer them , and an intelligent  fashion .  Trump  and Clinton are good at insulting each other and name calling and badgering. I had little tolerance for badgering in elementary school and I have absolutely zero tolerance for that kind of behavior now.

Is there some kind of moral conduct and we can demand that of our presidential candidates?
It’s almost as though you need a referee make in a boxing match.

‘ve never seen a time in our political history where we’ve needed in an actual referee like it’s a boxing match verses to great minds talking about what they would each do. We never had that in the election from the get-go

I am not sure what kind of actual good they can accomplish, since they are not showing the best of who they are when that is exactly what they should be doing!

This is idiocy and being that I was born and raised in The United States and never want to see the day when China owns America.

What is going on is a vicious cycle of stupidity, borrowing on China’s credit and we are looking the fool in the eyes of other countries.

Before I get on a this one topic alone, that infuriates me at the stupidity and complete lack of responsibility on the parts of all who work for the government for not prioritizing paying the debt of the USA.

I hope I see the day when a budget is created and adhered to. I hope I see the day when we have a new president who has one known social security number, and stands for things that benefit Americans instead of big businesses.

I hope I see the day when you can get a job in America without having to know Vietnamese or Spanish, when it is America you are trying to get the job and not Vietnam or Mexico.

    image

I hope I see the day when people try to be more kind and tolerant of each other’s differences.
Movie makers, producers and directors put positive and empowering messages out there instead coming up with a crime show give goofballs and psychos ideas to blow things up and kill people in movie theaters. Values can and could dictate our society, if we all wanted that badly enough.

I hope I see the day when our president realizes that every action has a chain reaction be it a bomb, something that is not needed that tax payer’s end up paying for. China is buying more of America up every day as the imaginary credit card is used.

They print up so much “play money” that I don’t think they understand in the real world, for you and I and everyone else, we all have to pay our debts. Why isn’t the White House and those who write the checks accountable as we are?

Breaking laws to fit personal agendas doesn’t make me proud of the current leadership. Can’t we as Americans demand to see how the money is spent? They are working for the American people and are supposed to be our ambassadors.

    image

What are your major concerns for our country? What would you like to see happen in the next year in America?

Please Mr. President Obama, well you’re still president- open your eyes, wake up and be accountable for what you spend regarding our country.

Students arming Syrian terrorist and creating Isis why don’t you look at all the veterans who have no homes?

What did you think of raising the cost of living index for all people who are disabled on SSI and SSDI?

Why don’t you see that every American in every state can live in dignity and peace and have all their Corporal needs met before you think of taking money we don’t have and giving it to other countries?
NOW is a good time to create and adhere to a workable budget, not just hype.

Start caring and acting responsibly and care about America being owned my Americans and how we take care of it now is the gift we will hand down to our children.

Research has shown that a simple act of kindness directed towards another improves the functioning of the immune system of both people.

Wayne Dyer says : “Research has shown that a simple act of kindness directed toward another improves the functioning of the immune system and stimulates the production of serotonin in both the recipient of the kindness and the person extending the kindness. Kindness extended, received or observed beneficially impacts the physical health and feelings of everyone involved.”

Sharing Stellar Ideas Like  Monarch Butterflies Flying From My Hands to The World by Paulette L Motzko

This all began with me sharing a beautiful Chinese Proverb late in the day and having Jennie Fitzkee, who is a teacher, writer and blogger and wonderful human being comment on how wonderful it was can I share the proverb. See it said that through me  I made the proverb brand new again.

And I told her that I had never heard it before so for me it was brand new.

From there I tried to put into words what inspiration is to me. And,  for the first time I was able to actually define it in a way that accurately fits what I envision it to be.

I asked Jennie to email exactly what I wrote in my reply to her, and she did. Somehow when I replied to her on the WordPress Web platform,  my response was completely not visible to me, and they always are.

“Jennie, I had never heard it so for me it was sparkling brand new.  It is just so gratifying when I share something I know is meaningful here.  I have a photographic memory and am a visionary kind of person.  I picture me gently holding a monarch butterfly in my hand and seeing the beauty of it all…then letting it go free to shine it’s beautiful splendor on the world.  The audience of Totally Inspired Mind are like flowers in a garden, each unique in their own way, none more pretty than the next.

When I get an idea I think is along the lines of good or great or empowering, the idea transforms into that “butterfly” that I briefly hold in my hands, admiring it, only to let it go free in hopes it will touch other’s lives to spread joy to them too.

Jennie inspired me to write that, what I called on a new Board on Pinterest I created today called “Divine Inspiration”….

People can be a catalyst for incredible ideas and collaboration that would never have been had the two people met. I would have never believed that when I got the idea for Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate from a hotel room Huntington Beach after I realized I could no longer take care of my mother who had very acute Alzheimer’s disease. Mom required a 24 hour staff  instead of me. And the most liberating thing was realizing that and being blatantly honest with those realities.

I began focusing on only myself and putting myself number one, which was strange at first. I was giving everything I possessed as a human being with nothing coming back my way, and I had to quit before the flame was extinguished. The flame bein me.

Too many caregivers give so much of themselves there remains only a whisp of who they originally were before, with almost nothing left for themselves. That is all too common in the world.

I had the idea for this site but just never had a free moment to be able to think or concentrate on anything for longer than 5 minutes. I am not complaing, those were just the realities of helping my dear mother Ramona, now in heaven–I am glad I was there for here because she needed me, and this time’s with her are precious memories that will play back for all time with a smile on my face.

I wouldn’t ever have believed what began as my brain child where I could envision the greatest, most kind, big picture thinking people all getting together….and meeting one another….around a table set around the world.

It transformed from my vision to  a website to immediate skyrocket of passionate, Triple Winning people who instantly embraced my idea and loved it.

The amount of effort that I’ve expended into it has comeback a thousandfold. It transformed from a caterpillar of an idea and through a kind of time-lapse metamorphosis, became a living, breathing wonderful entity. ….a very human thing because it is composed of imput and comments from all if you-my fabulous readers!

    Beautiful Chinese Proverb

As I was reading the inside forward of the first of the series of Chicken Soup for the Soul books by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, I spotted this beautiful Chinese proverb which I will share with you because it’s enlightening in so many ways and it shows how we’re all connected on this planet and one thing has a chain reaction.

If there is Light in the Soul, there will be Beauty in the Person.

If there is Beauty in the person, there will be Harmony in the house.

If there is Harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.

If there is Order in the Nation, there will be Peace in the World.

This is a work-in-progress folks. I’m still going through photographs that were my mother’s and taking pictures of them one by one and adding them to this post. After all the pictures are added then I’ll add text to it. Rather than not publish it and keep it private like I had, I thought I would just Post-it and let you guys enjoy it while I’m building it.

Obama: Declared Trump ‘Unfit’ Equal Rights, Leadership vs Dictatorship & Disabled Rights in Nevada by P.L Motzko)

    Obama: Trump ‘unfit’ for presidency
    http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/02/politics/obama-says-trump-unfit-for-presidency/index.html

Hooray! Finally Obama says exactly what I have been writing and saying all week.

I hope this is the first step to taking very very strict action of for the first time in history deeming someone unfit to be the president of United States.

It’s not a free chair. You have to earn that chair was there ever a very well-thought-out word you say that shows what kind of person that you are. People aren’t hiring a name to be the president they’re hiring a human being with values.

If you’ve proven that you’ve alienated every type of minority there is, including women , which for the most part in this world are still a minority, and you’ve insulted even your Republican teammates-what’s coming for us as a nation with Trump as dictator?
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist like my ex-husband to figure that out!

Trump would not be a leader. He would be a dictator just like Hitler was and I know it. In my heart of hearts I know that. When you’ve lived over five decades you develop insights, wisdom and have an inner voice and intuition about things. If you really listen to it, you will be dead-on right about everything.

There’s a difference between a leader and a dictator. A true leader is a Visionary. A leader can bring out the best in everyone and see they’re true hidden potential, even when they can’t even see it themselves.
A true leader hopes to work in a synergistic fashion with other leaders, and not compete but work with them creating a triple win which is- I win, you win, Society wins at large. I learned that philosophy what I was in the Voluntary Leadership Program at Chapman University where I graduated in 1997 the top of my class. I’m very proud of that because it started with a vision, and an extraordinary idea and it ended with reality.

Trump would be a dictator and we would smash everything and everybody that’s in his way. He would look at people as obstacles and he would not behave in an ethical fashion. Trump’s fashion would go against everything that America stands for. We would all be subservient to him.

I was married to a real rocket scientist for 15 years and much of his logical thinking rubbed off on me. In the best of timed my ex-husband and I got along really well because we were both could discuss any topic there was in the world. Even though I was disabled my ex-husband didn’t care because he saw my abilities and he saw what I could do.

In 2016 we as a nation have become a very sophisticated people. We could work out almost anything we would ever want to work out with any country there is- if we only wanted to . We have to want to more than anything in the world though.

In order to pave New Roads to a more promising future for all of us in the United States. We need to elect a president who is an excellent speaker and who can articulate all of our wishes as a unified people. Our president must be an excellent communicator. Trump is the opposite of that. He’s the polar opposite of an articulate communicator. Trump is a triple loser. The only element he comprehends is domination at any cost. All of a sudden the triple winning scenario goes out the window and what you’re left with is Trump wins, Trump wins, and society loses.

One of the things I’ve always wanted to do is be a speech writer or a writer for a politician I endorsed or The United Nations to help unite us as a world. With very carefully chosen words we can avoid war and create positive Alliances. We could work towards a more promising future it. It just takes work and silence and thought.
It means you have to sit down and you have to be in a quiet room and you have to have no TV blaring and you have to just think.

Changing the subject but still on the train of thought of equality and civil rights:

I haven’t had a TV in over 3 years due to the state of Nevada lowering my SSI check over $250 a month, and I am on a payment plan with NV Energy to keep my electric on!
That’s not living in dignity and far from it. I gave up alimony for this just to have my medical covered?

People who collect subsidized income would rather be working, and most of all have good health. They would also like to not be discriminated against because of their disabilities and appreciated for whatever intelligence, abilities, and skills they possess. In the real world that’s not how it works. I was given a 50,000 year job by Edison in California then when they heard that I use Paratransit Access they said “oh we won’t be needing you!” I swear to God that happened. I have seen it time and time again so maybe some people like to sit around eating bon-bons all day watching a TV set but that just ain’t me! I placed education first and I want to be hired for my abilities and paid accordingly. Once I get Paratransit I will be able to make more money and be able to make it get to jobs faster and not in debilitating 115 degree heat.
It’s counterproductive to anything that I’m trying to do in this state.

This story will be given to Senator Harry Reid and one of the local newspapers here.

I say it like it is and I’m not ashamed to say that. People respect me for that.
They expect me to make $14,000 a year on top of the joke of a monthly check of $728 and collect the below poverty wage figure. Sure SSA. You try and earn a living with half the people you deal with are drug addicts, drunks, or just flakes. I am in the process of raising the cost of living index for all people on SSI, SSDI veterans and all people who are disabled who are affected. Inflation increased but the cost of living index for all the disabled people who rely on that for life and survival. It has not been raised in over 20 years. Not cool and it’s about time. Whoever created the figure $728 needs their head examined. That doesn’t even cover the rent. doesn’t cover rent and utilities. I’m in the process of meeting with Senator Harry Reid and I think I will be the first Disability Advocate Nevada has ever had.
I want to see that all people who are disabled live in dignity.

After all, I should know about civil rights I had my freedom taken away from me moving to Nevada. They told me that level if he’s not a disability it’s not worth Paratransit you’re not disabled enough that’s what I said that’s what they said amazing isn’t it illegal to cancel or specially when they denied my doctor’s letter stating I needed Paratransit and I haven’t driven for over 25 years to do it almost being killed in a car accident; they turned me down. Makes no sense. It’s called ignorance and stupidity. That ignorance and stupidity cost me a broken ankle and toes and one year later I now have arthritis and then ankle. 3 people were involved with that moronic decision to play God and ignore a neurologists doctor’s order stating that I had heat-sensitive epilepsy and I’ve had Paratransit for 25 years in the state of California with Access. Those people will be sued in civil court at a minimum of $10,000 a piece by me because I suffered because they were stupid and arrogant and the worst part apathetic and callous they didn’t care if I got injured or not but I did.

I will go down in history as being the first disabled white woman who came to a dust bowl of a town to live and dignity and peace and instead got didn’t find that.

Nevada is the worst state for disabled people in the world. If you’re disabled don’t come to Nevada. I will say that over and over-don’t come to Nevada if your disabled- especially if you have Mobility impairments because there are tons of people who should be in special homes they should have a personal care attendant with them and they don’t.
Yesterday I fed and helped a totally blind man who was walking the streets feeling this way the whole way with a cane and he could barely get inside the Jack in the Box that I happen to be at.

When I was on the phone with my friend I looked up at him and he went to my table and asked for two more quarters because he almost had enough to get a hamburger. This was a veteran who served in the military and because of a bomb he had one of his eyes blown out and the other one with glaucoma! It makes me sick how America treats our military in this country and I want to see that change. The Veterans Administration did a lousy job taking care of my dad when he was alive and obviously is doing a lousy job on the totally blind veteran walking the busy streets with a cane. I do good walking around this state and I have eyes and I can see!

Cars will kill you in this town and they don’t care that you have the right away because no one makes anybody accountable. That’s the problem with Nevada is life is not sacred, disabled people don’t matter here as with the ADA laws of CA. That’s why they’re so many pedestrian fatalities-ALL because the people who run This Dusty Hot Town seem to think it’s okay.
It’s not okay. Manslaughter will never be LEGAL and life is sacred and a car will always win against a frail human body.

I stopped what I was doing and I was horrified when I saw this veteran, of which I know is full name, when just might go to the Veterans Administration myself and say what are you doing for this poor guy? Find out who is case worker is and chastise the crap out of them! As imperfect to Southern California is, if THAT BLIND GUY were walking the streets, feeling his way with a cane, nearly getting killed by hundreds of cars, a police officer would pull over and find out where the guy is and find out where I lived and find out who his case worker is that they would care there’s not a whole lot of that here in Nevada. They don’t tell you all that stuff when I Nevada tourism guide!

He would have a counselor with the Braille Institute, he would have probably housing it was very good because he has a total disability , that’s what I have but I’m not getting full SSDI for it it’s called the disability that never goes away-like mine which is epilepsy.

He should have someone helping him a PCA, just like what I used to have until moving to the wild west where everybody fends for themselves and people just watch it all and few help.

I should have all the benefits of a blind guy has anybody and both of us should know that where ever we go we are driven by a driver.

The Federal Government needs to rethink the way they allocate the payments people get for SSDI and SSI shouldn’t play God. All should be treated the same.

Nobody has the right to declare that one disability is better than the other or gets more money than the other. What staff in the heavenly court dictates that? I’ll take pictures of all my medicine that I take during the coarse of a week and have to swallow in the morning so I don’t go to the hospital. I will educate all of them because obviously RTC as a company, the Paratransit division, Senator Reid, and Titus are all in the Dark Ages where epilepsy is concerned. At this very moment August 2nd , 2016 epilepsy is not recognized as a disability in the state of Nevada. WOULD I have come to this cockeyed, dumb state knowing that I would be discriminated against? WOULD I have spent $1,000 moving all my furniture from one state to another, becoming a Nevada state resident, losing all my Medicaid benefits in California when I did that, and then living like this? I don’t think so nobody would their right mind and it’s wrong .
The Paratransit director Jim Howland told me to my face he didn’t care about people who had epilepsy because he didn’t have to care. Caring about the people he served was not a prerequisite of working and feeling his job. Can you believe he would have the audacity to say such a stupid thing yes he did. I want him fired and replaced by someone who was compassionate and kind and caring and understands about all disabilities not just physical disabilities but neurological disabilities like mine that’s what epilepsy is how about other ones physical ones all disabilities don’t put an imp somebody the equivalent of a chimpanzee behind a desk Who’s acting as God to everybody turning him down when he doesn’t even know what he’s doing when his decisions have bad implications on the people he’s doing it on like mine did. He made the decision to allow me to be injured and put me at risk and that was a bad decision as well as Jim Champou and Tina Quigley.

Me and the blind veteran are mote alike than observers would guess. I fed him and he ate and that was good but he needed way more than I could give. I felt bad that I couldn’t do more.
I’m not a social worker I’m just a person on a limited income trying to make a difference in a two-bit town that it seems that the going rate in Nevada is they just don’t care.

Dina Titus didn’t care that I didn’t have my Paratransit ID. I met with her office and I had to drop seizure in her parking lot. My left knee got all ripped up and bloody and I have pictures of it to show pictures of it to show Senator Harry Reid , along with with some shocking photos of what my first studio looked like here-that’s what $728 buys!
A picture speaks a thousand words. You can say things until you’re blue in the face and people just don’t get it. You show a picture of something and all of a sudden people wake up out of their stupor and it becomes real. To see up close and personal how people live.

Not one of Dina Titus’s advisors came out and even asked me am I alright.
Apathy seems to be Nevada’s creed. Apathy towards the dead pedestrians who get pummeled daily by drunk, preoccupied drivers who aren’t paying attention to the road and you’re not paying attention to stop signs, red lights and do not know the word yield. I’m a pedestrian and there’s lots of other people who are too.
Senator Reid needs Paratransit if he can barely see and relies on a personal care attendant which I should have like I had in California for 25 years and a driver like I had for over 25 years in California. That right there should not require a test at all should have wished it? There should have been no test for me whatsoever for Paratransit especially when the test is not only test for mobility issues that’s all it does. Most disabilities are invisible and are not Mobility related so going off on a tangent here with my particular situation and I’m fighting for but it’s not everyday you meet with a Federal representative.

No TV set, no cable, no cable bill either. All the news that I get is on average about 200 different apps that are on my Galaxy Note 4 and they’re programmed for headline news so immediately when the news comes out I get it. Twitter it’s also great for finding out what’s going on in the world as well as Facebook.

I get it on Headline News, I get it on CNN I get on Las Vegas Review-Journal sometimes I go to CBS News because I like their correspondence and I think they do a good job of covering stories.

We can take our nation anywhere we wanted to go but we have to think about the future and not just be selfish.

I wrote Mr. Khizr Khan on Facebook and asked him if we could petition or do some kind of proactive action that would deem Donald Trump as unfit to hold the position of the president of the United States of America. Many people may not know this but he’s an attorney who graduated from Stanford University. Khizr Khan is a very eloquent, hard-working American Muslim who earned every cent he’s getting and who, even though he was verbally attacked by Donald Trump, managed to speak in an eloquent way and choose his words ever so precisely. I commend him and I told him that in an email and a private message.

We need to increase more positive ways that we can communicate with one another rather than blowing each other up and watching the body parts fly of all the innocent people who die just to kill one person.
War just like Trump is a triple loss now and in the future. Let’s avoid both!

Larissa Martinez in her Valedictorian in Graduation Speech: I’m Undocumented

Valedictorian Larissa Martinez said in her graduation speech: “I’m undocumented”

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/10/us/texas-undocumented-valedictorian-trnd/index.html

You have to read what this very brave young lady said as Valedictorian at her graduation. Her courageous speech surprised everyone, and she was bright in saving her secret for a “punch line “at the end of her speech.

America was founded on the principles that all people have the same rights.

She made a factual statement about Trump, about “his wall built on hatred”… and I give her a standing ovation for that one.

I personally feel Trump should be thrown out of the political race based on his racist, anti-American view points and his repeat, tasteless racial generalizations.

I cannot believe how easily and quickly I made friends with Larissa Martinez on Facebook after searching for her.

We talked back and forth using the Instant messaging app and over 80,000 were searching to find her or talking about her there.

I wrote this on her profile page, and I’m pleased with the words I wrote so I share it with you here.

“CONGRATULATIONS for your excellence in your academics and also in your bravery to stand up and disclose that our immigration system I’d broken and also about saying that Trump us building a walk out of hatred. You are so astute and you are going to go far in this world. You already have! I am so happy we became friends so quickly here. If you should ever want to make your opinions heard on a wide scale, my blog Totally Inspired Mind has a wide readership, and you can send me your story and I will air it to 100 countries. I have a loudspeaker to the world.

God bless you Larissa Martinez. You are one extraordinary young lady!

I am happy I tuned on to CNN this morning and read your story!”-

“Jim Carrey’s Top 10 Rules For Success” & P. Motzko’s Commentary-From Vision to Living The Dream

” Jim Carrey is a Visionary and uses very empowering visualisations to have propelled himself from being homeless – but with very detailed dreams and goals of what he wanted his life to be- to living his dreams and a success story.

He now speaks in front of large groups of people at universities giving them advice on how to live, and telling them what he’s learned.
After you finish speaking he makes people feel like they can do anything- and with the right mindset you can.

You know you’re a leader and you know you’re doing something right when you can show others new ways of thinking and show them that they possessed inside what they sought all along.

I know as a piano teacher, I know a student will do well just because they have music inside their soul; it’s like its hard-wired in their system. I already know the students going to be successful before I even start teaching them.

Gifted Hands by Ben Carson- The Ben Carson Story:Read This Book!

    image

I bought this book 2 weeks after Christmas last year. It was on the best-seller rack at Barnes and Noble in Summerlin. What an extraordinary person Ben Carson is! Of all the people running for the Office of the President of the USA, I wish he had won. Extraordinary things would have happened, had he been in a position to change things for us all.
He would have made choices that benefited everybody.

From the back of the book:

“Ben Carson is a professor of neurosurgery, plastic surgery, oncology and Pediatrics, and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins medical institutions. He’s also the author of other best-selling books – think big, and the big picture. He serves on the corporate Boards of the Kellogg Company, Costco Wholesale Corp., and America’s promise, among others, and is an Emeritus fellow of the Yale Corporation. He and his wife, candy, are the parents of three grown sons and live in Baltimore County, Maryland.”

“5 Ways to Improve your COMMUNICATION Skills – #BelieveLife” on YouTube with Commentary by Paulette L Motzko, Totally Inspired Mind

What an awesome 25 minute video from the Believe channel by Evan Carmichael.

The first presenter speaks of the key points of communication and he uses an acronym “HAIL” which stands for Honesty, Authenticity , Integrity and Love.

Very well done! Those are huge things I value in life. ALL THE PEOPLE I ASSOCIATE WITH MUST possess those qualities. That is a prerequisite with me.
If they do not, I simply don’t associate with them.

Life is too short to hang with crows or buzzards when you can soar with the eagles instead.

After YOU ARE 18 years old, you have the right to choose who you associate with.

If your family member is malicious or doesn’t have your best interest in mind, or is just psychologically messed up and causes havoc in your life– you simply don’t need to be around them.

I have a few family members like that. You can’t exchange family members like a bad poker hand, but you can simply walk away from the game and let them play by themselves.

When I was about 6 years old I remember mom saying ” who you are around is what you become.”
So, when looked at things in that context, becomes very easy to weed people out of your life and be more selective.

For instance, when I used to do gardening in my last house in Orange before my divorce, I remember putting this stuff called Preen my flower box with the geraniums, gladiolus, daffodils and Lily of the Nile. It helped to prevent weeds. Yes prevent them. It made it so I didn’t have to sit there breaking my back tending the soil the next day. Even though the stuff cost a fair amount of money, all I had to do was put it on once a month and it saved me work.

Bad people are like weeds and they can infiltrate your life with snuggled edges, and pollute your mind with bad thoughts, colorful language that you really shouldn’t be using, because when you’re around someone that does something over and over again it tends to rub off on you.

If you set high standards in your life and associate with flowers who help you bloom too, the garden called your life will always bloom.

If you compare bad people to weeds- people who possess the opposite of the qualities outlined in the acronym HAIL, it becomes very easy to not let them take over your pretty flower garden… otherwise known as your world. Your life, like a flower garden, blooms in direct proportion to what you plant.

    image

Images photographs and created by Paulette L Motzko, PLM Studios, Las Vegas, Nevada Copyright 2015 and 2016

Let every one of the people in your life bloom on their own. People who share a common denometer with you, naturally help you bloom to the most of your ability…because they are blooming themselves and are happy with where they are in life. Conversely, people who aren’t happy in life, and who only bring negative things to the forefront, are people who will usually try to drag you down to their low existence.

    Don’t let them do it.

The most important things to me are honesty, integrity, tactfulness, of course- because you don’t just want to say anything that comes to your mind in the sake of being honest to somebody.

All these things put together build your reputation. Your reputation is what you’re going to leave when you’re not here anymore and that’s what people will remember most about you.

It’s not how many cars you have in the driveway, it’s not how fancy your Gucci bag is, but simply how you treat other people and how you made them feel when they were around you.

Those things form who you become in life and who people know you to be.

That really is what matters to me in life. I hope you enjoy this YouTube video I’ve got to find out how to reach Evan Carmichael that does all of these extraordinary “Believe” YouTube videos because they are the best I’ve ever seen.

You have my Paulette Le Pore Motzko Seal of Approval on that Mr Evan Carmichael.

I’ve would love to meet Evan Carmichael one day and congratulate him on an outstanding collection of YouTube videos.

I don’t know how he does it but the finish product is pretty extraordinary.

With my blog Totally Inspired Mind I wanted to contribute something extraordinary and put it out of the universe and then get other like-minded people to join it. It started with a vision and then it became reality in a few hours when I created the blog in a hotel room. Now five years later about a hundred countries read this and now I am going to monetizing it. Currently my payment is sharing what I feel us quality content that is remembered and shared.
I aspire to communicate using the HAIL principles outlined in this YouTube video of honesty, authenticity, integrity and love always.

Google Talk The Global Translation Chat App & & Paulette Motzko’s Thrill of Discovery

I learn many things new through the course of my day everyday. I have always had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, even since I was a small child at 4 years old, learning to read, and then learning phonetics. I learned the meanings of the prefixes and suffixes when I was 6 years old.
I learned the value of a book and the extraordinary concepts within each cover, and libraries became one of my favorite places, and still are.

    image

Hot off the press I just created this image to go with this story from a photo I took in Vista, CA about three years ago now.

Photography & Digital Arts by Paulette Motzko

There was never a dumb question around our house and every night around the kitchen table, before we would eat dinner we would bless the food, thank God for everything we had, and look at each other and thank God we had each other. How I wish it was that way today. But people change and so you change with it.

My dad would ask everyone what we learned that day. He would go one by one, and ask each one of us who’s the most extraordinary thing we learned that day. If we didn’t learn anything he would say “go pick up a book” or “how are you doing in school” and things like that.

Every night at dinner time we would sit around our table and we would share what we had learned that day.

Yes, how I wish life was like a projector that you could go back in time and make my siblings remember when they had a heart and soul, but that’s not how life works. Change is the only thing we can count on and those who adapt the best do the best.

Yes, we sat around with a painted picnic table that was painted by my mother and communicated with each other, laughed, my brothers told jokes, and we were there in the moment.

Our family couldn’t afford a kitchen table like the kind they sold in a furniture store, but being the industrious people that the Le Pores are, my dad bought a picnic table that my mother painted white.

As always mom had this way of creating something out of nothing, and when she was done, the table was painted and varnished and had a really pretty flower arrangement on the top of it.

She then bought some yellow gingham sheets that she found on sale, and transformed them into beautiful drapes for our huge kitchen windows.

25 years later, after my parents sold that first house they bought for a mere $20,000 and sold it for $100,000 years later, those drapes are still there. People did not want to take them down and loved them and bragged about how beautiful they were. It was my secret, that they’ll never know they were made out of sheets.

These remain to this day some of the most Stellar memories I have of my childhood.

My Nanny always told us a family who prays together stays together. It’s something she swore by. It was imprinted on the Rosary she prayed on everyday that glowed in the dark. Her words to this day have lit some of my darkest days much like her rosary beads glowed up in the dark as she prayed Hail Marys.

    image

We prayed together then and stood by each other. It’s just too bad, my older siblings sold their integrity getting the profits of my parent’s huge duplex, after my dad’s death. My brother in law was like Hitler as power of attorney and and my siblings fell for his half cocked, uncompassionate and unfair treatment of both myself and my mother with Alzheimer’s disease. I was the only one who looked out for her it seemed and spoke for her with a voice she no longer possessed.

    image

We could see each other, side by side, and when my dad made money selling major appliances and the table went outside…we sat farther apart. Then the house began to be filled with state of the art TV’s and a huge stereo. The television was on more and we talked less.

I saw this big solid maple, fancy kitchen table being delivered with big clunky, heavy chairs I couldn’t lift, and we sat apart from each other. I liked the picnic table better.

    image

Necessity creates innovation and ingenuity. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life are some of the poorest. They know how to do it, that they know how to be industrious, and they know as I’ve learned, to do without and make do with what they had.
They have more compassion for others in the same situation.

    Back to reading and knowledge..

Mom read it to me everyday, and my sister bought me Golden Books that I read, each one of them looking at the pictures and being immersed in the stories, sounding out the words.

If I didn’t know what the words were, we all played a game where I would figure out what the word meant by taking the prefixes and saying what it meant. Most of time I would get it right with a little fine-tuning. That would add to my vocabulary everyday.

When I knew how easy it was and the extraordinary potential that a person would possess if they could read, assimilate and have the command of the English language, the world was my Pearl.

Like Helen Keller having Anne Sullivan spelling out the word
w-a-t-e-r in her hand in sign language, she knew everything had a meaning.

Mom was my Anne Sullivan, especially as an unpopular kid recently diagnosed at 9 with epilepsy. There was no such word as bullying in school; kids just did it and nobody cared or did anything. Apathy to the max in the school systems.

9 WAS A PIVOTAL AGE FOR ME. LIFE DEALT ME ONE CURSE EPILEPSY BUT IT ALSO BROUGHT A PIANO IN THE HOUSE AND MUSIC, THEN MY LOVE OF COOKING EMERGED AND WRITING WAS SOON TO FOLLOW. IF GOD WAS A CARD DEALER THE DECK WAS STACKED IN MY FAVOR AT A VERY YOUNG AGE.
I just took until I’m almost 55 just see it that way.

    image

Paulette Anne Le Pore at 9 playing a song I composed called “My Melody” after mom showed me 4 chords and Nanny explained how the pedals worked……

In 3rd grade at Show and Tell I Showed and demonstrated to my class what the piano did by playing all the songs I wrote. Bringing in bullfrog were boring to me!

Every thing ever built or ever created has a name. The more we understand what those things are the more we can understand our place in the world. Also, the more languages that we speak the more than we can understand others and their cultures and find a common denominator within the two.

As in most days I don’t quite ever know what I’m writing but I never worry about it; I just write.

People who put on the editors cap and are over critical too early in the creative process or worry about what other people think of what they do– never do anything because the creative process is squelched.

Create because you think it has merit, or you think it’s beautiful. It doesn’t matter that the world doesn’t think it’s beautiful or does think its extraordinary. Create it because you feel your artwork is in the very essence of your soul waiting to escape like a butterfly in a meadow and you want to share the reverie with others…and the people in the world are the flowers in the field.

    image

    image

you know it is that’s why are you think I can help somebody or you feel it’s good. And once you create something you throw it out in the universe and you hope it touches the lives of people and inspires them or shows them a new way. When it does then it’s extraordinary because then it’s a triple win. It’s the people whose viewpoint on what you do make what you write and every word you hand chisel come alive.

When I was a small child I held a book in my hand with a feeling as though I had the whole world in the palm of my hand. I also knew there was so much more available to me and I was just touching a small microcosmic particle of the knowledge available in the World.

Now have a century later, with me at 54 years young, I hold my Galaxy Note 4 phablet with over 100 apps on it, ebooks, over 5,000 high definition photos, and programs I used to have on a clunky big computer that I recently sold. I installed Microsoft Office and MS Word, allowing me to create documents with vocal recognition software for the first time in my life.

You’re talking about a person who types eighty words a minute but can now type with this new technology. My phablet types for me and I edit. History breaking stuff. Pretty cool, huh?

Thanks to engineers, and IT specialist and computer scientists who created the internet systems with satellites in the sky like my ex-husband the rocket scientist help put up with Boeing, we can do things that we never ever thought possible.

I’m old enough and I’ve seen both sides and it is all pretty extraordinary.

I have had this Google Talk app on my phone for better part of a year and I didn’t know that it was a translating device that I could talk to people in their native language in any part of the world for free.

Now that’s a huge piece of info because I have over 800 friends on Facebook and many of them were in Italy, Thailand and the Philippines and Africa. I can learn their language by using it and that’s what’s so extraordinary about it. It comes in handy for business as well.

I can learn figures of speech in in their language, adding color to my writing. This matters to me. I have some baker friends who are artisan bakers in France and I would love to know and understand more of the French language and the pronunciation of how the words sound. Google Talk helps with that.

I hope that this article made you look at the world little differently. If it did, that makes me really happy and that is the coolest thing in the world.

When you change someone’s mind or you Enlighten them to a new fact that they didn’t know,
You’re in essence opening a magic door to new horizons that were unexplored before. I hope you can use some of this in your life, that you find new ways of thinking brings subtle changes in your life.

Prayer is not the overcoming of God’s reluctance, but the taking hold of God’s willingness. Phillip Brooks

This is on the inside cover of a book that I carry around with me every day and say certain portions of it that I’ve marked with a Post-It notes called “Handle with Prayer” by Alan Cohen.

    image

I found my copy for a dollar fifty at a book sale in a Friends of The Library sale in southern California, with coffee stains all over the cover and scribbles on the inside, but I didn’t care. I could see the merit of the wonderful book without even reading it. One’s trash is another treasure.

    image

The cover was beat up and damaged so I covered it with cat stickers because if I ever had a pet again it would be a cat. The stickers give me joy, make the cover look a little better and strike up conversations from passers by who see me reading it.

It’s published by Hay House Publishers.

    I recommend it to anybody.

It’s a fantastic book then we’ll have you thinking in more positive ways and transforming your ideas about prayer, God, what you can do and accomplish and a host of other things.

Alan Cohen has written I believe over 20 books.

    http://www.HayHouse.com

The ISBN number on this book handle with prayer is:

    ISBN 1 – 56170 – 467 – 9 hardcover

This book is classified as prayer and self-realization and religious aspects.

In life we never know what we are getting and what kinds of blessings or tragedies may befall. You can only stack the deck in your favor so when the hand is played you come close to winning.

If every one of you reading this sentence could realize that nobody on earth was dealt a perfect life, then maybe you won’t feel so isolated or sad, just knowing you are not the only one. Everybody on the bus every day I see has their own joys, family, friends and struggles. Just because you don’t know them, don’t fool yourself. Problems in life don’t omit anyone, no matter how much money you make. Often the richest people have the most screwed up lives. They have no idea what to do with all their money and have lost the ability to enjoy simple things. They spend their lives trying new drugs and paying for expensive thrills that leave them flat and uninspired.

As a child who was disabled and went through a merry-go-round-of medicine for epilepsy before I got to the one that worked when I was fourteen-years-old.

I learned big words and related to teachers better than my classmates who made fun of me because I was different. All the things I went through in my early years toughened me up to be a soldier of life and an ambassador of compassion and good will who can related to everyone with a cane, in a wheelchair and who strives each day to know health firsthand and independence.

Even though in life you may have looked at hell in the eye like I did and been through moments where you nearly died; remember you made it out the other end.

A visualization to picture your mind that I created after going through one of the worst year and a half of my life is:

I can see myself walking through a huge hoop of fire and coming out the other end transformed, stronger, and smarter and where ingenuity is in my DNA. After helping my parents pay their house payment thrown the span of 15 years and being betrayed by my siblings I grew up with; it redefined my existence.

We were once a good family, not a perfect family, but we were never an apathetic, hate filled family. There was so much negative dynamics going on between my older siblings and that no matter if my mother needed help, if I could have done over again, I would have looked out for number one and that is all, and got the hell out of there. I can see that in retrospect and wish I would done that, but if I had mom wouldn’t have anyone who gave a damn and she wouldn’t be in the senior home she is now.

The things you learn in life gaining wisdom are vast.

What have you learned in life?

Are there lessons you can pass on to others?

What is a lesson you learned that you can pass on to another to make their path smoother, watching out for rocks and boulders?

You see, when you do without you learn to compromise. You learn how to substitute and you truly get to know what it is like to live on a bargain basement existence that only those who frequent places like The 99 Cents Store, Dollar General remembering numerous times since moving to Nevada and having my SSI cut by $150 a month-times when I couldn’t afford anything in the dollar store!

What I do know out of the tragic and almost mind boggling callous and low class way I was treated in the end of making great sacrifices for my mom and financially helping my dad by living on the duplex he was still making payments on after 2001. I learned that there are people who look like a human being but are missing a soul and a conscious; my siblings fit that description. I only hope that they regret it one day. I know I did the best I could in spite of going through adversity myself. In other words, we are only responsible for ourselves and there comes a point where all the talking in the world isn’t going to change things.

    image

Move on. Look back and accept what you did and embrace the choices you made.

Just because you were betrayed doesn’t mean you have betray someone else. Just because you were hit, doesn’t mean you have to hit someone else. Someone else’s cold heart doesn’t have to be yours and shouldn’t be yours.

Why the Lord allows good people to go through hell none of us will know, especially when their hearts and souls are good.

In life what matters most is for you to not focus on the dark aspects or “shadows” in your life. Look at the “bright spots” that sparkle like Orion on a clear night in the desert. Keep the friends who have become family; they are your new family.

    image

Just because you are related to someone doesn’t give them the right to be in your life. To have the right someone has to treat you with dignity and respect. If those elements are missing, then you really don’t need the person in your life.

Remember, every negative person drags you down. Every positive person lifts you and your spirits up.
You want to be dragged down to the nether world, or do you want to keep people around you who also set their aspirations on high and noble things. Forget the rest.
I pray to meet people who are kind, caring, compassionate who care about the world around them and who care about children, the environment and the world issues.
Here is a cool visual for you: I also pray to NOT MEET negative, pessimistic people and to avoid or REPEL people with rotten intentions people just like water droplets on Vaseline.
What story will you retell people?

Will it be a triumphant one? A Courageous One? An Extraordinary One?

Make the things you say be as amazing as yourself, because the spoken word is what people will remember about you.

Do you want to be a mina bird of the same, sad story or do you want to force yourself to grow, find the wisdom in your pain and to help people they are not alone.

If pain and suffering has to be, let it be transformed to bring someone up from their aloneness.
I hope this 1,534 word story does just that. Come out of your cave and light the light and let it shine on only the good and the great. No matter what your faith, don’t lose hope and never quit believing the good and just win. And even if they don’t “win” they show everybody in the world how they can! After all, people are only winners or losers in their minds. What you think you are you will be.
I hope every word changes your minds, and transforms your spirit and helps you think about the experiences you have gone through and how you carry them around.
Troubles can be on your shoulders like lead weights or you can problem solve, pray and meditate and gain insight. To do that you need solitude and uninterrupted time so you can think. When was the last time you gave yourself that gift? It is through self-introspection that you grow and transform into something greater.
Learn to journal and write every day your innermost feelings. At first at will feel awkward doing it, but it will come more naturally with time. In time you will look forward to it. Make it a minimum of 30 minutes. Go to a library where you can be guaranteed to not be bothered and where it is quiet enough you can hear yourself think. Preferably have nobody see it but you and God and your soul.
In your first journal book entry: make a list of all the things you are thankful for this moment.
Now make a list of things you need to work on to be happier and feel better.
Number them and create a plan of action.
Make the most of what you have now. If you want more, work for it all and enjoy what you have NOW. This time will never come again. When you are 85 ladies you will think you look like pretty hot now! Hey guys, tell your mom and dad you love them, they won’t be around forever. I am reminded that our time on this extraordinary earth is limited. Make the most of your travels here.

It is only then that you can take what were problems and setbacks and throw them in the sea and watch the seagulls take them away to the wild blue.
Put some beautiful and inspiring music on iheart.com radio or Pandora.com and get in touch with who you really are. When you do that, you will find you have way more going for you but you just overlooked what you were given.

Written with love to the world.

The John Stewart Company unfairly declined my application

Let me set the scene for you:

Here it is last night about 7 p.m. and I am drinking some Jasmine Pearl Tea at Peet’s Coffee & Tea. I get 3 emails from Vanessa and one from Ms. Horn the VP of The John Stuart Company stating after being told I was chosen for this place out of thousands in Orange County, giving up my dog Lucky, incurring storage and hotels just to enable to stay wait for my place to be done being built.

I passed the credit &  background checks weeks ago and saw the place. It was more than an apartment, but supposed to be a way to enable disabled people to live better quality lives.
    It turned into a nightmare.

After being told two times the project was taking 3 months longer than anticipated, I have been in more Motel 6’s than I want to admit to, had my $1000 laptop and $300 Jetpack 4G portable router stolen and am now friends with the president of Uhaul who has made sure I didn’t lose everything in storage vaults!

I made a choice to wait for this place as an investment in my life quality, never thinking it would drag out this long or have such a horrid ending!

    It ain’t over yet though.

I contacted one of the story writers for The Orange County Register and he is considering doing a story about it.

I hope he does. Just because people are disable doesn’t mean they should be treated like garbage.

I was told in the pdf file by the VP of The John Stewart Company my application was being denied because I used profanity….well I asked for a move in date and they left it open ended, making me feel like the whole charade could go on to infinitum. I wouldn’t allow that.

The things I earn money with are in the storage vault…desk office chairs & my upright grand piano.

Had I moved to Arizona, like I was planning the last week of March 2013, I would be moved in, building piano students etc.

CA was and always will be my first choice to live…my mom lives here, my friends who are my extended family.

What was the rent on The Vista del Rio in Santa Ana? $444 a month, free wifi, and Good Will Industries would have helped me with grocery shopping, since I don’t drive any more (after my near fatal car accident 15 years ago having a seizure behind the wheel!)

I just want peace and wish I would find people who know the meaning of the word INTEGRITY, FAIRNESS and who have a CONSCIOUS. The John Stewart Company possess none of those qualities.

    What should I do?

My Church Lies in the Sea by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

    image

My church lies in the sea and I am part of each wave that sings it’s Sea Song.
My church lies in the sea and the sea gulls are the choir.
The stained glass windows consist of multi-colored skies and the billowing clouds are the angels looking peacefully downward on me…
    Seeming to Guide Me….

All is well by the sea and as I walk tensions disappear, if by magic. My load is lightened and my back and neck and forehead feel no worry and my heartaches are cast into the great depths.

God bless the sea and let’s protect it and the sea creatures that dwell within it innocently.

Much as a church we must respect it, cherish it as a woman is to a man.

God bless the sea and God bless ME.

    The Sea Speaks to Me

In Words that sound like waves,

In the song of the sea gulls that fly over me and sing a sea song

    In people who smile

In the surfers that never grow old

In the salt scented air that blows through my hair and kisses my face

And in the palm trees that line the coast

IN the sand left in my shoes…

And the lone shell that used to inhabit a sea creature that is now a memory….of the sea…and me

    and my reverie…

Making me glad I am alive.
