Beyond a Self Portrait
by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

Her eyes were deep, dark brown….

as dark as the French roast coffee she drinks when she gets up.

She’s passionate and believes age doesn’t define her.

Her soul is genuine, clean and clear and as transparent as glass or fine crystal.

She strives to thrive in all areas of her life.

Although American, her European features are apparent in her light porcelain skin, and high cheekbones, and her love of French perfumes, fashion, accessories and hats and her love of anything Italian.

She treasures great memories and longs to make more of them.

She prefers small gatherings, avoids crowds, and loves a one-on-one, meaningful conversation.

She seems to look right through you with her dark eyes that speak worlds through.

She has a way of communicating love and kindness, and uses every form of communication: written, spoken, photography, digital art and digital media.

Her lips speak truth and promote brotherly love and wishes more people did the same.

Books are a long time childhood friend and the people she associates with and shares her feelings with a few, but possess integrity and values who are genuine with compassion.

The lady I speak of is me.Written on May 19th-20th, 2019.
