Where have you always wanted to go that you’ve never been to YET?

It doesn’t  have to be fancy place, it doesn’t have to be far away place, it just has to be a special place to you -and only you alone.

Feel free to make comments here if you like.

Be Strong by Maltbie Davenport Babcock (1858-1901)

Be strong!

We are not here to play, to dream, to drift;

We have hard work to do and loads to lift;

Shun not the struggle- face it; ‘it’s God”s gift.

Be strong!

Say not, “The days are evil. Who’s to blame?”

And fold the hands and acquiesce- oh shame!

Stand up, speak out, and bravely, in God’s name.

Be strong!

It matters not how deep entrenched the wrong,

How hard the battle goes, the day how long;

Faint not -fight on! To-morrow comes the song.

Follow Your Dream

No matter how seemingly difficult you think it might be to pursue the things that you’ve always wanted, do it anyway.

Learn more about the topic, and associate with people who are already doing what you want to do.

The more you do that and the more you immerse yourself in the world related to what you want to do, the more likely you’ll be doing it in the near future.

You will learn things from people that you can’t get out of books that will be the equivalent of 20 years of wisdom that you won’t have to work for.

Go to where people hangout who are Goal Getters, Triple Winners and who are very centered on achieving their goals; associate with those people.

Eliminate people who are downers, losers, pessimistic jerks who are like balls and chains who drag you down to their low levels.

The reason they do that is very simple. They’ve nit accomplished  anything  substantial or noteworthy in their life. They’ve never worked for anything or achieved anything in their life, so they want to demean you to make you equal with them!

I had family members like that and I don’t associate with him anymore. When people are abusive, it doesn’t matter who they are; eliminate them you don’t need that. Life is too short to be miserable. You’ll notice your blood pressure will be lowered, you’ll feel better and with all the time that you weren’t bickering you’ll have more time to enjoy life.

If people aren’t placing you first  on their list, and if you are the instigator of everything you do, perhaps  maybe it’s not a reciprocal arrangement.

In spite of having great setbacks with my health through the years, I did accomplish everything I set out to do.

My mother passed on her values and me at a very young age which are alive in me, along with all her years of wisdom.

I pursued everything I wanted to do, and am working on projects  I will be building over the next year  or two  that have to do with philanthropic efforts  as well as  personal endeavors.

I didn’t ask anyone’s permission to do what I do. The only approval you should be asking is those of very high-caliber integrity who you trust implicitly, but mostly trust the approval of yourself and your inner soul.

People who try to please everybody don’t end up doing anything because they’re afraid of making a mistake and so afraid of everybody’s opinion and what people might say that they don’t do anything! You don’t want to be a People Pleaser; you want to be someone who’s a Pioneer and someone who does something that’s never been done before. And, if you aren’t doing something that is unique and unlike what anyone else is doing, at least be the best in your field. Do the best you’re able and push yourself to the limit learning everything you can about the topic.

Many people that I thought I would know for the rest of my life I don’t know because they changed and they were not considerate and they were always saying something horrible about something I was doing, never once encouraging me to do anything that mattered to me.

I didn’t matter to them, is what it boiled down to.

The only thing constant in life is change. Those who adapt the best do the best in life and as people adapt we adapt too.

Totally Inspired Mind was Nominated for the Unique Blogger Award

My friend Priyo, who has a blog called Mistamaan nominated me today for this very special award.

I haven’t chosen the people who I am nominating for the award yet. First I have to give it some serious thought, since I know so many extraordinary bloggers.

Out on my balcony on a beautiful Autumn afternoon with my cold drink, my notebook and pen and my “Follow Your Dream” notebook to think and map out my answers to all the questions to accept my award.

I made an Amy’s organic spinch feta cheese turnover to take al- fresco with me.

Bottom image photographed in created by Paulette Motzko.

Thank you again Priyo for this very special award. It means a lot to me because of what it stands for. I don’t want to be like everyone else so I am pleased that I was given this meaningful award.

  2. Do I believe in rebirth? ——–Yes in the Christian sense, of going to heaven one day and meeting all my loved ones again.
  3. One of my most embarrassing moments was when I was on the jogging track at the Holiday Spa many eons ago, when I was still married to the rocket scientist when we lived in Huntington Beach, California….I was wearing a jogging bra, or so was supposed to be! Here I am jogging around the track and I felt something moving around under my shirt, that found its way out of my shirt!! I will never forget the open the mouths on all the guys that were on the exercise bicycles and the women whose eyes bugged out when one of my Gifts to Womanhood came out of my bra. That still makes me laugh when I think about it. What am I going to do? I just put it back in there and just kept going around the track as though almost nothing happened anyhow! The next time I went around the guys smiled at me a little bigger than more. Pretty funny memory though.

I am nominating these wonderful and talented individuals and the very entertaining and inspiring blogs that they created. This is by no means saying that if you were nominated your blog isn’t unique.

I can only pick 8 here so thousands will be excluded, and you will be selected for an award of a different type soon probably.

What you put out in the universe is even more important now than ever.

What vibe are you giving out to the world?

    Is it good?

    Is it bad?

    Or is it a different?

Indifference or apathy is the worst crime of all in my opinion.

Self love, Celebrate yourself! By Kavita Ramlal

Kavita, also known as “Sunshine”  and I became friends this week when I spotted her fabulous post on her blog and was captivated but both the beautiful pictures and how much we have in common in terms of gardening and The Simple Pleasures of life.

I found her blog when I was searching the term “positivity” on the reader on WordPress, and the more that I read that she wrote the more I wanted to get to know her, the wonderful lady who wrote it.

I hope you enjoyed the story that she shared here about self acceptance and being genuine and true to yourself.

    I surely did.

“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always had and you’ll always want what you always run away from.”-                        Luis A. Delgado

Those brilliant words came from my wonderful friend Luis A. Delgado.

He and I met in Southern California in Westminster many years ago, and even though neither of us live in California any longer we are still connected and are “kindred spirits”. WE BOTH have “the ocean and the beach in our soul” from living NEAR THE PACIFIC OCEAN  so many years. We also are VERY POSITIVE PEOPLE WHO LOOK to IMPROVE OURSELVES DAILY.

    Quote by Luis A. Delgado.

Photography & Digital Photo Arts by Paulette L. Motzko.

I’ve read numerous things that he’s written over time and ask permission to use his quote here that I read on Facebook tonight.

I hope this becomes one of many quotes from Luis too because he has so much wisdom and insights to share. He just doesn’t realize how gifted he is- yet.

Our Actions on the Keyboard of Earth Trigger Hammers on the Piano Strings in Heaven. Our obedience pulls the ropes which ring the bells of Heaven’s belfries. -Max Lucado

Quote from Max Lucado’s fabulous book called “Morning and Evening Devotional Journal. Grace for the Moment by Max Lucado.”

I created the image below after having my piano tuned again last night.

This morning, when I was saying my daily prayers, readings and meditations I came across the quote that was just made for the picture that I created last night it is almost as though God directed me to that passage so I can put the two together.

What actions can you do here on earth that will play music on the keyboard of heaven?

Have “Springtime in Autumn” by     Paulette L. Motzko & Watch “Forcing Paper Whites, a How-to Video with Glenwood Weber” on YouTube

I bought 20 beautiful large paperwhites about a month ago, and due to all the terrible weather events we had all over the world, they were delayed in the shipment. I contacted the people that I bought them from and one of the managers contacted me back and they were sent priority mail the next day.

Even though it’s Autumn here in Las Vegas, Nevada with very few if any fall leaves to be seen, I’m going to be creating “Springtime in Autumn” by forcing paperwhites indoors.

Bulbs are so easy to work with and you can keep them going for years. They’re awesome for a beginning gardener. Usually just plant them about 1/2 to 3 times deep of what the bulb size is; the planting directions will tell you.

Years ago in my first house in Sandy Utah, when I was married to the rocket scientist, Mark”s sweet and very generous grandmother Hazel Griffin sent us several hundred dollars worth of bulbs and I had fun playing them all over the yard in around the bhouse.

I kept those orchids going for many years after and they were absolutely gorgeous. There were jumbo gladiolus and red and yellow and tulips, because we got snow in Sandy, Utah which was 20 minutes away from Salt Lake City. It was just awesome living there. I wouldn’t do it now because of the high amount of snow Utah gets.  it’s great we can have a guy cleaning the driveway, and when you’re driving in a car everywhere you go. But for me who walks and uses lift and gets around a myriad of ways, it wouldn’t be logistically smart.  but I will always remember the extraordinary Panorama mountains and how it look like a painting, how clear it was from where we lived by the Wasatch mountains off to see the Capitol building we could see as clear as day. I would say that Sandy Utah Salt Lake City is the opposite of Las Vegas Nevada. They’re people with their doors open and as long as you were good people they were good to you. Here we have a high crime rate high fraud rate there’s weirdos and goofballs and drunks all over the place it’s the opposite of what that place was, and what many places are I like my place here and it is cheaper to live but there’s prices you pay for that.

Utah was beautiful country and that the Mormon people were so awesome so kind so nice because I learned all about there  and even though I didn’t believe what they did  we respected one another . I wish more people thought like that . You don’t have to agree with everybody just need to respect their viewpoints and their beliefs.

Around Christmas time at The Visitor Center, they spent about three months every year wiring lights all around Visitor Center it was absolutely gorgeous.
Back to the bulbs, you can keep bulbs going for years just by taking them out, if you live in an area where you can do daffodils outside, like I used to in Southern California, I naturalized them outdoors and my last house in Orange California with the now ex and, I had crocus coming up ‘the first to come up in the spring time and daffodils.

I love growing things this is the first place that I’ve had where I could actually do that and think of growing things once I learned how to do it here in the terribly hot  southwest desert.

I hope that by airing this video and buy me writing this, you’ll think of creating “Springtime at Autumn” where you live, and adding joy to your desk or your window sill by planting some really beautiful paperwhites

I ordered these around my birthday August 31st, which was the time they recommend to plant these. But, if you plant them (force them) indoors, you can have these going all year.

It’s kind of like having Springtime in your window sill are on your desk, which is what I’ll be having in about 2 weeks once I plant them.

I have everything but the little glass planter that you need to do these and gravel hydroponically.

I’m soon getting ready to head for church but I wanted to air this.

As I learn the world learns with me, and that’s just one of the cool thing about having a blog that’s read all over the world.

    God bless you all.

If you’re Mormon, Muslim, Jewish, Agnostic, Atheist, Buddhist, and any other Christian faith, or don’t know what you believe, I bless you anyway and I hope that only good comes to you in every way.

We’re all the same on this planet and it really doesn’t matter. What matters is how you act and how you treat people it’s not the name your faith and it’s not how many times you go to church.

None of that matters what matters is who you are, what you do and what you bring to the world and what you want to leave the world as because you were in it.

    Magical Garden Planter

I wanted something wonderfully beautiful that would inspire me as I write on my antique bamboo desk and saw this planter on Amazon Prime fell in love with it, read all the reviews before I bought it and everybody loved it too.

I bought the succulent plants through Fat Plants San Diego, whitch specialize in nothing but succulents, cacti if you will. I also got free shipping and 3 day delivery through Amazon Prime again. Not an ad for Amazon Prime it’s just what I do anybody who can afford the membership fee which is less than $100 a year, it’s totally worth it because you get the highest quality products for the lowest price and free shipping. You can even order groceries on Amazon Prime now, and it’ll be delivered within 2 hours free! Since Amazon bought Whole Foods Market I can get top organic produce for less than what I get in the store and they bring it to me.

It’s an answered prayer for someone who doesn’t drive like myself, some one who is busy or disabled.

Anyway, back to the making of my Magical Garden Planter.

    • You need one whimsical planter with three openings. I will share the one that I bought through Amazon Prime later on the site. Just choose something that inspires you something that when you look at it it really gives your heart Joy makes you want to smile, whatever that is.
    • Three small succulent plants.
    • One bag of succulent potting soil. The one that I swear by and is Hoffman’s Organic Cactus and Succulent Soil Mix. It really does make cacti bloom and grow!
    •  I created my succulent garden on my balcony it’s really wonderful because now that it’s Autumn I can go out on the bistro table and have a wonderful Alfresco lunch or dinner or sit out and eat breakfast and drink my morning coffee.
    • That also you get from Amazon Prime now and then they will ship it free awesome.
    • Succulents need very little water and when you water a succulent, you only water it in drips- and I’m not kidding you! It’s a totally different way to Garden from the way I did in Southern California.
    •  The planter that I chose has strain holes in it. Make sure that yours does too.

Simply fill with a succulent potting mix and then gently remove the Moss around each cacti, supporting the succulent leaves ever so gently pray you can remove the Moss around every Cactus with tweezers. They also make some succulent gardeners tools which helped tremendously with very fragile succulent plants.

Put indentation in each reservoir of the planter and then place the succulent in there, and gently cover with some more succulent mix.

For decorative purposes I use some exotic Pebbles and aggregates to go on the top to give it a really magical look make it look like a little fairy garden or a Little Gnome Village if you will.

You’ll see the finished product when I go do it. I thought that I would put on the how to since it looks so nice on my bamboo tray. If one of you out there decides to make something you never tried before, and see how easy it really is then great.

Also shown in the picture is a porcelain planter that goes in your window sill with a bamboo Bass, also got on Amazon Prime. I’m putting for small succulent plants in that and it’ll go in my window sill by my office where I write. That’s where my little magical  fairy garden is going.

I hope you like my little planter how-to as much as I enjoyed showing you.

The final picture will be up today of the finished planter.

      Be blessed always.

God’s Open Door by Carl L. Frye

                       God’s Open door

Written & original illustration by Carl L. Frye

Along the fence row covered with small pint sized trees

above the wire the wind blows creating a breeze

within the shadows of the branches a corridor

through the pathway of light is God’s open door

when I look at it from a mile or more away

I see it getting closer day by day

the leaves are green, and the underbrush is brown

the wind blows above it without a sound

oh look I see a light brighter than before.

It is an angel standing by God’s open door.!

Make stellar experiences daily  because those fuel your sacred precious memories in the future.

Try to make stellar experiences every day because those will be your memories in the future.

The photo is of mom and I close to 20 years ago. I had just played the massive pipe organ at

St. Columban’s Catholic Church and my 6th grade Catholic teacher Sister Bernadette arranged it for me to play Ave Maria on what would have been Nanny’s birthday October 2.

My Nanny lived across the street from St Columba’s Catholic Church and it was like heaven for her, because she loved simple things and placed God first like I do. I’ll never forget sister Bernadette Moran with tears in her eyes when I played on Ave Maria. She didn’t know I played the piano or the organ. She only knew I never complained about wearing the uniform we had to wear, and was the only kid in the school who wore a headband because I liked it that way.

I always did all my homework over at Nanny’s place which was across the street, Nanny sometimes would help me with math and other things that I would need help with and it was always wonderful just talked to her and be with her. She was the master of making the most of the least and she taught me a lot about life since she lived with us when I was 9 years old prior to her having her own apartment.

I had always wanted to play the organ as I heard it play as a kid, when all my family used to go there together in a time where we actually said “peace be with you to another”, instead of the petty words that would follow in the future- due to people not placing their values where they should.

This photo is one of my favorites though and mom was so happy and proud.

I think of that apartment Nanny had and Mrs. Rossini, the sweet Italian lady that used to come by and was Nanny’s friend, the lunches I spent with her and our visits and how almost sacred those memories are to me now.

Make the best days you possibly can and shoot as high as you can in the quality of your life, and pursue your dreams and add Joy in the lives of  those around you.

Those special moments will be fueling the memories of your tomorrows.

Miracles by Coldplay and Big Sean

This is the last one that I’ll share for you right now of songs which have become my Mantra, if you will.

They embody who I am and what I stand for- which is not afraid to stand alone– as long as I am standing up for what is right.

In The Eyes of a Believer by The Afters

I listen to this everyday as a kind of mantra and I have it programmed into my walking playlist on Spotify.

Never let anyone put out your fire!

You’re standing strong through it all.

      Whatever battles has come

      You know He’s already won.

Anything is possible in the eyes of a Believer.

One of the first lady asked everyone is what is your mission statement, wish take some great got to do by the way to come up with these few words.

A very special pewter cross that belonged to my mother that I didn’t see until after she had touched the Face of God.

I know in heaven she’s cheering me on telling me to keep going everyday and Persevere!

At the Texas Station Hotel & Casino where has become my “Cheers ”  where everybody knows my name and they’re always glad I came. The Fiesta Hotel and Casino is also the same way in that it is where I have lots of “framily”, friends who have become my family over time.

One I created for Earth Day this year.

Watch “Nuns Fire Gains Speed As The Winds Pick Up” on YouTube

It seems every day someone some where I’d affected by a natural disaster or they know some one who is.

I used to live in Southern California and it wasn’t until I got on Facebook when they said the nuns fire went viral. I didn’t know where this nuns fire was located, so I had to do research, since California is one of the largest states in the United States next to Texas. It’s next to San Francisco. I hope and pray as I wrote on this video, that all the people who are affected by that are safe, find a place to go where they’re safe, and all their personal possessions are secured. Even though you may not know anyone who’s in this area, say a prayer because it all adds up. And every action has a chain reaction and I believe the more people who pray about something the more it happens because I’ve seen it 100% of the time.

Insurance Journal: Is It Time to Say So Long to Social Security Numbers?

This is one thing that Trump is doing that I actually approve of and think it’s a good thing. It may be the only thing that I approve of but I think it’s great to explore alternative ways of guaranteeing that what is ours and personal stays that way.  Years ago when the social security number was created, I would have to do research to see when that was , it worked all right  and now we have children being raised with smart devices and Google that cyberspace and a whole bunch of things that were in place when the social security numbers were issued years ago . We live in a society today where someone can waive a concealed  weapon  in a minute your debit card and get all the information off of it without you even knowing it.

In the age of scammers and hackers, with the high fraud rate’s increasing, we need to explore alternative solutions that guarantee what is private stays secure.

Since I was married to a real rocket scientist to 15 years, I’m fully aware that there is more than 20 ways to do any one thing. And just because we’ve been doing it a certain way for 50 years or more doesn’t mean that’s the best way. Because it’s time is changed the circumstances around our world has changed and we need to come up with something that meets it had on and guarantees the security and privacy of every American citizen.
