I was given a notification by WordPress.com asking me for more money ton ” upgrade my plan” a couple days ago, even though I bought the Business plan with WordPress.com.
It’s pretty hard to upgrade your plan when you bought the best plan WordPress makes!
About 100 countries monthy are reading TotallyInspiredMind.com. I am going to be monetizing the site this year, which is why I wanted to own every one of them. Only a few of my sights here reflect the “.com” they should show. That’s another disturbing issue with WordPress, which I’m addressing today.
None of these things do I like to talk about or do I like to deal with. I want to do with web developers that are honest, have integrity and when I pay for service I want to see him every single service I purchased, with not one excluded.
I’m going to start doing research about wordpress.com and reading about what I can do about this, and I will address to Better Business Bureau if needed.
The business plan I bought for TotallyInspiredMind.com is supposed to allow for unlimited picture and video uploads.
To say I’m pissed is an understatement, considering I have 12 web blogs with WordPress.com. when I made the decision to create my blogs using wordpress.com, I was hoping that was dealing with a company who had integrity.
I contacted a customer service person via chat, which is not my favorite way to communicate, bitching about the fact they went against the written policy on my Business Plan for TotallyInspiredMind.com.
WordPress.com should have a phone number that anybody-you reading this- who also has blogs using WordPress.com, can call to talk to somebody -and not just do stupid, impersonal chatting, especially when you’re talking about hundreds of dollars.
Beware if you bought a plan with WordPress.com and become familiar with every single thing you’re supposed to get with that plan. That way, you’ll know if they’re trying to pull the wool over your eyes asking for money when they have no right to.
WordPress.com should get their record straight when people pay money.
If they don’t rectify this immediately and if I don’t see every one of my website’s show that I bought through the domains on all of them months ago, I will contact the Better Business Bureau about fraudulent business practices.
There’s nothing that I can’t stand more than a company trying to make a fool out of somebody. I guess they figured people on WordPress are desperate people that will pay anything to get their word out. I’m not- and I know that all my triple winning readers on WordPress or not that kind of person either.
I’ll have a web designer take all my stuff and move it if I have to but I’m not going to do this.
The customer service guy named Eduardo is supposed to contact me by email today.
I will keep you posted.
In the meantime, I would question if WordPress.com starts asking you for more money. if you paid for the Business plan- that’s as high as this wordpress.com goes. That allows you unlimited picture and video uploads, no if’s and’s or but’s.

Anyone else have any trouble with wordpress.com? If you had trouble getting ahold of customer service on here? Are you aware that there are two different WordPress sites….There’s WordPress.com and WordPress.org, which only adds to the confusion!
