The image is of my virtuoso violinist friend Valeri who is one of the super talented musicians  in the Venetian Trio in Las Vegas, Nevada. He appears nightly at The Venetian, which is one of my absolute favorite places in Nevada.

Your song doesn’t have to be a musical song but your song can be something that just gives you Joy, something that you’re really good at but when you do it it’s as though it sings.

You could be a good worker, who takes rough blocks of wood and carves them into beautiful masterpieces making the would seem to sing.

You could be a window washer who washes windows with a style and finesse and an attitude that sees the beauty and what he or she does and sees the smiles on people’s faces through the reflection in the window, and help put the smiles on people’s faces. When you bring something more to your job than what the job entails, you no longer just do with a job description is. You make it more than what it is. Anybody can do that in the matter how many of you think your job may be.

In the case of my friend Larry who plays the violin as beautifully is Itzhak Perlman, and his played by the violent if he was 9 years old, the same amount of time since I’ve been playing the piano…

He doesn’t just play the violin; he plays people’s memories and plays songs for people from all different countries.

Along with the amazing accordion player in the amazing flutist in the Venetian Trio. They examples of people who artistic at what they do but they bring people joy and ways that they’ll have no idea.
