Beautiful Words of St. Therese Comparing People to Flowers

Taken from the Society of the little flower prayer card.

” Jesus deigned to teach me this mystery. He set before me the book of nature. I understood how all the flowers God has created are beautiful, how the splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the Lily did not take away the perfume of the violet or the delightful simplicity of the Daisy.
I understand that if all flowers wanted to be roses, nature will lose her springtime beauty, and the fields would no longer be decked out with little wild flowers.

And so it is in the world of souls, Jesus’ Garden. He will to create great souls comparable to Lily and Roses, but he is creative smaller ones and these must be content to be daisies or violets destined to give joy to God’s glances when he looks down at his feet. Perfection consists in doing His will, and being what he will says to be.

Lord Jesus, help me to blossom as the kind of flower that you have made me and where you’re planted me.

I thought this is so beautiful I couldn’t resist sharing it with everyone.

It was one of the prayers that I sent for from

What people in your life are the flowers in your garden?

What I love most about my home is who I share it with.

Who do you share your home with?

Is it your spouse? Is this your fiance? Is it a dear friend it’s become family? Share your story about who you share your home with and why you think they’re really special.

I really love my new roommate Alberto Ferreira because he is a good person and likes helping others as a friend and as a physical therapist. He practiced as a physical therapist in Cuba, his native country for 14 years and has lived on the United States for 8 months.

We were introduced to one another by a mutual friend and we were both looking for a roommate with special qualities and we found what we were looking for.

I have a nice big two bedroom apartment now with almost 1000 square feet and my furniture is going to be moved in later this afternoon.

By this evening everything I own will be here in one, big, quiet, peaceful place.

My bedroom with have 2 book cases on it a pretty wicker shelf, my roll top desk and soon a bed.

My upright piano will go on the far wall and I can finally teach piano again because the neighborhood is a family neighborhood and people asked for business cards when they heard I was moving in.

Yes I am finally on the right place with the right person.

Hug someone!

Hug someone. –

If I could hug someone now it would be my dear mom and a special guy in my life.

I love you mom and thanks to meeting a wonderful new friend named Delmy, I will be seeing you soon, since she travels to Moreno Valley twice a month and we are neighbors in my new place I am moving into tomorrow.

Who would you hug if you could?

Share who and what makes them so special to you.
