I air this story to educate people and say “dont use tanning booths.”
Instead of the being in the sun for long periods purposrly baking yourself, wear sunscreen if you are going to be in the sun.

When I was in high school there were a few boys who annoyingly called me “Snow White”, these guys were the same goofy brats I dealt with in elementary school , they just got bigger!

They said this because I was the only dark haired light skinned person in the whole school. Everybody else was blonde and tan but now they look like leather handbags with wrinkles and I dont.
It is becoming more and more fashionable to take care of your skin, and to not tan.
You’ll decreased the odds of getting skin cancer if you use sunscreen, and stay out of the sun for long periods.

Just take care of your skin. If you live in the high desert like I do, take care of yourself by wearing protective moisturizers to protect you in the dry, windy air.

This is very sad story but you can take care of your skin by avoiding I want exposure to the sun, protect your skin when you’re outdoors, drink plenty of water, avoid the tanning bed- no matter how gorgeous you think the model looks on the stupid tanning bed,  let her stay there.
it’s a gimmick, and a money maker for businesses, but lousy for your skin.

Don’t conform. It’s  okay to be different.  It’s okay to be unique. Everybody doesn’t need to look like everybody else. Take it from me, baking is alright for cookies but not your skin or a person.
