What an awesome story! I love people who are disabled to prove that people can do anything else can do.

I did when I bet bypassed a bachelor’s degree and did the work of a master certification program the Chapman University in Orange California. I was the co-founder of the Epilepsy Connection helping people in three countries and various counties in California where I lived at the time.
At the Summit Meeting I held there people paid $250 to hear me speak, and I had a classroom of 50. I created a PowerPoint presentation explaining what epilepsy was but it wasn’t and how you can acquire it and I answered questions with handouts. at the beginning of the presentation I said a friend of mine had epilepsy and that’s why I always cared to help others. at the very end I said by the way, the friend was me.
People took a double take and looked with shock at me sayimg “I never would have known, as they shook my hand and said what an honor it was to meet me.

Anyone can do anything in this world, and we all carry some trial or tribulation on our shoulders.
Attitude is the key most important possession you’ll ever take with you in your life.

My mother used to say those very words to me my entire life, and she’s absolutely right. This article is for those who have a few pounds to lose and to let you know that you’re fantastic now and don’t let anyone tell you different and if you get better that’s great.  You can carve those curves just as I did, and am still doing!

The healthy attitude you can do anything.

6 proven methods to help you quit smoking

6 proven methods to help you quit smoking
http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/25/health/quit-smoking-6-most-valid-methods/index.html

I don’t drink alcohol, smoke anything-tobacco or cape or Marijuana or take strange drugs. I never did and never will. I was given one set of lungs to take care of and smoking causes lung cancer which I don’t want. For me it’s a no brainer. If you haven’t started smoking dont start!
My dear mother insisted on smoking as much as I wanted her to quit she now has COPD and I pray to god she won’t have an oxygen tank! if you can get along without crutches and being addicted to something by God do it! it’s nice to be conscious for what you are but you do when you alter yourself with mind altering drugs, cigarettes, alcohol you’re just being addicted and its a crutch that kills.
In Las Vegas it seems like everybody smokes or drinks or is on something in this state bars and casinos with people drinking and smoking and drinking and smoking I get so tired of it living here but is many who don’t. choose to take care of your body, take care of your mind because you’re only given one time around this planet. once you have lung cancer I can never take it back.
Increase your chances of getting in his email and even if it got to be really bad tracheotomy.

I hope I writing this essay give a dozen or more people the gumption to throw the cigarettes down the incinerator and then tell the tobacco companies to flake off. they’re making money off your addiction but you can say no and you can live a hell of a lot longer! Rachel has anorexia nervosa and weighs only 40 pounds even though she is five feet seven inches tall.

Show this to any girl who thinks she is fat and you know she isnt. Anorexia nervosa is no laughing matter and can be treated with help, love, counseling, and a support network of medical care. Look what can happen when people care.

God bless the entire state of Texas and I hope that those who are missing because of the ravaging floods, are found healthy. It has been a few days since I checked the United States news. I have no TV or cable, so I have to get the news off websites and the news station sites.

Thank you for your prayers. My ankle has no pain and I can walk with no cane!

As promised, a much better photo of me taken by my friend John who is a waiter at the Grand Cafe at Red Rock Casino Resort.

Taken on my dear friend’s 50th birthday….still with the awkward fiberglass splint up the back of my leg and underneath it!

After wearing a fiberglass splint on my left ankle and foot since the 10th of May and then having a large heavy boot stuck on my foot from Valley Hospital 2 days ago, I took my shower last night with both feet on the shower matt and tested my ankle out; I have absolutely no pain in my ankle and full range of motion in my ankle.

I just have a tiny tiny bit of pain in one of my toes which is nothing to be able to be wearing a Frankenstein boot for. After much writing and walking my left toe hurt enough to take one 600 mg tablet of Ibuprofin.
I walk normally now though and am nearly pain free, not requiring the cane and my life can resume again without hobbling around in slow motion.

I think for all good purposes; my foot is fine.

I’m going to go back and resume everything I did before and Lasagna is gonna be cooked up in my little kitchen for me to split with my dear friend David Rayburn. It is hard for him to cook in a wheelchair and it gives him so much joy and me too-knwing he has something great, delicious, Italian, homemade with TLC.
My Italian BIGA (starter) is on the counter waiting to make artisan bread from Como, Italy.

I’m so happy I have two legs again. Sometimes we don’t need to understand everything in this world. I only know I was very disgruntled yesterday and wondered if God forgot about me and said “if you are a compassionate God let Live and compassion rain down on me and health. Wealth and love.”

image

You know you have to consider the source of what people tell and discern if yoy think they are lies or truth.

I knew that when I took that boot off last night and I took a shower- the first shower I’ve been able to take with both feet on the ground, without bandages or a splint on my legs or having to put a bag on my leg when I shower…..

I looked in shock as i mived mt ankle around having full motion and no pain. I ASKED MYSELF, why the heck am I wearing this dumb thing? I wasn’t married to rocket scientist for nothing when I realized I had no pain whatsoever in my ankle and was able to move it I knew the injury was not anywhere near what they thought or else it healed in the month.

I am still still taking kwgal action against RTC for turning me down for para- transit service, but I won’t have to be I won’t have to wait to live life.

I don’t know what happened last night only that I said some of the biggest prayers that I have ever said my life.

I’m able minded and wsnted to be able bodied again so I can walk to bus stops that get me all over Las Vegas.

I couldn’t be happier and  I know that people all over the world are praying for me, just like you all prayed for a miraculous recovery for my left wrist, and it healed.

You are the people who inspire me, touch me, enflame my heart and ignite my soul.

I know my Christian friends are praying for me and all those prayers combined together can heal and can make a difference.

Thank you again for your support that you’ve been over the last two and a half years with Totally Inspired Mind. I’d spent the last two and a half weeks just trying to get in to see a specialist and the medical system is really bad in Nevada.

The doctors and hospitals have a really low quality of care unlike California where I grew up.
I will go some place and get my foot and ankle x-rayed again and I make you a bet when the X rays come out it will show that my foot is healed.

Just got fitted for a supportive boot at Valley Hospital to help my ankle heal.

image

After many hours at Valley Hospital tonight, they took off the very poorly done splint UMC put on the 10th of May when I came in with a fractured ankle and part of my foot. I also got two referrals to an orthopedic doctor that was suppose to have an instant opening, unlike UMC who referred me to one who has no openings until November!

Pray each one if you that I will get in no problem and that the feature isn’t bad as and heals quickly. I am not sure if a cast will be put on or not.

The 27th I have my first appointment with my new internal medicine doctor who can write badly needed referrals to any further orthopedic doctors, and a mammagram, new glasses, teeth cleaning, and write a prescription for a motorized scooter, which will help me every day, even if I hadn’t fractured my ankle.

At least now, when I take a shower I can take the boot off and shower, instead have a fiberglass and bandage splint covered with a plastic bag on my foot and leg!

Pray I find a good attorney so I can sue RTC who turned me down for paratransit saying I wasn’t disabled enough! I guess I am now….but only temporarily.

Is vertical farming the future?

Is vertical farming the future?
http://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2015/05/06/vertical-farming-future-orig.cnn

If you don’t know really what the word sustainable means, take a look at this! This new technique of what i call “smart and sustainable gardening” is the way of now and the future.

I hope that more and more gardeners and farmers employ this because it’s an extraordinary use all of our natural resources like water and space.

Also, by planting vertically, the yield is about quadruple the amount of produce and herbs and it uses a fraction of the water in traditional bed gardens.

In this kind of garden more vegetables and herbs arw grown, less water is wasted because water is recycled. It’s a Triple Win.

Just imagine how many people we could feed if more farmers had vertical gardens?

Watch the two minute video.

Let us make use of the natural resources that we have and feed a heck of a lot more people. We sure have a need for it.

Frequent tanner shares grisly skin-cancer selfie

Frequent tanner shares grisly skin-cancer selfie
http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/12/living/skin-cancer-selfie-feat/index.html

I air this story to educate people and say “dont use tanning booths.”
Instead of the being in the sun for long periods purposrly baking yourself, wear sunscreen if you are going to be in the sun.

When I was in high school there were a few boys who annoyingly called me “Snow White”, these guys were the same goofy brats I dealt with in elementary school , they just got bigger!

They said this because I was the only dark haired light skinned person in the whole school. Everybody else was blonde and tan but now they look like leather handbags with wrinkles and I dont.
It is becoming more and more fashionable to take care of your skin, and to not tan.
You’ll decreased the odds of getting skin cancer if you use sunscreen, and stay out of the sun for long periods.

Just take care of your skin. If you live in the high desert like I do, take care of yourself by wearing protective moisturizers to protect you in the dry, windy air.

This is very sad story but you can take care of your skin by avoiding I want exposure to the sun, protect your skin when you’re outdoors, drink plenty of water, avoid the tanning bed- no matter how gorgeous you think the model looks on the stupid tanning bed,  let her stay there.
it’s a gimmick, and a money maker for businesses, but lousy for your skin.

Don’t conform. It’s  okay to be different.  It’s okay to be unique. Everybody doesn’t need to look like everybody else. Take it from me, baking is alright for cookies but not your skin or a person.
