Time to Say Goodbye

To Brittany who wrote this about her life and how the blog she created served a purpose in her life and she now wants to direct her energies elsewhere in helping others, I say “I wish you the best of what the world offers & may the goodness you put out in the world come back your way.” Paulette Le Pore Motzko

What a gift of grace to be able to take the chaos from within and from it create some semblence of order. – Katherine Paterson

I am always finding new and fresh quotes and incredible insights into the human persona and how to live a better, fuller life from one of my favorite books entitled “Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy” by Sarah Ban Breathnach.

image

That was one of them on the page titled “Order Within” on May 19.

Sarah Breathnach speaks of not only creating order in our homes but “seeking order within.”

How I would love to meet this lady one day. She is such a powerhouse of wisdom and seeing life through new and healthy perspectives.

I wasn’t planning on this being a book review, but in case you would like to track it down at your local library or book store, here is the information for your librarian to track it down for you.

I took a nice walk and discovered a great Starbucks in Tustin where the people went out of their way for me….Daniel kindly opening my honey and Patrick openinng the brass plate covering the plug ends I wanted so badly so I could plug in my MyTouch Q…making this post and posturized photo of my Refesh Peppermint Herb Tea possible.

The quote was written on the side of my tea cup on the cardboard sleeve.

I will surely come here again.

Have a blessed night.

Be True To Your Best Self

Time Wasted You Never Get Back
Written by Paulette Le Pore Motzko
May 22 and May 26th, 2014
Copyright May 2014
Time Wasted you never get back to invest in yourself and your future. If you don’t live each moment wisely now, you will only have a bunch of lackluster memories and regrets.
Be your best friend and only associate with positive people who are not rude, who do not yell and wouldn’t think of hurting you if their life depended on it. Your goal is to find people who treat you as good as you treat them-which should be with dignity and respect.
Be a giver and do small things for no reason other than you are able to. Not only will it give you countless memories and smiles when you recall all the times that you made a difference in someone’s life, but it will enrich your life too.
Don’t mope about family members who aren’t supportive.
Count your blessings and the friends in your life now as petals of a rose that blooms in the vase of your heart.
When you add enough of those people together, you have a “Bouquet of People” who enrich your life and who you can always count on to care about you. They are your FAMILY. The TRIED and TRUE of HEART, the Kind & Loving-
Those people are who make you shine like an Aurora Borealis light in the night sky.
If a person is there for you in the worst of times, they will be there for you to celebrate the best of times! Remember that.
People change. When people change for the worst, you do the same and change too by not including them in your life!
You owe it to yourself to only let the best in your world.
Making wise choices are a privilege we should use more often.
If someone is helping you, loving; keep them around for a while.
If life was a big brick of Cheddar the bad people are like mold on cheese. Watch out because that “mold” could spread on you and ruin the whole piece!
(People love that one when I tell them! I love picturesque analogies. You remember them!)
Sometimes blood relatives suck blood instead of offering health promoting benefits. If you are sick when you see someone, don’t see them. If the person upsets you uncontrollably-don’t see them. If you have ulcers and cannot afford the ulcer medicine, like I once had-remove the source of the ulcer! I did and I was related to 3 of them! I tell you not because I am flaunting this fact, but because I want to “liberate you” to know it is perfectly fine to not associate with someone-family or not.
When I looked up the meaning of “family” in the Webster Dictionary, I was astonished to see so many variations of the word. For purposes here, I like this basic definition:
“A people or group of people united by certain convictions.”
Although this one fits the general term we think of as a family unit:
“The basic unit in society traditionally consisting of two parents rearing their children.”
If you find that you are always agitated, upset emotionally when you are around someone-simply remove them. It is OK. No horrible repercussions will happen from doing do, other than you exercising your right to be an adult.
By the same token, associate more with those who value what you value, care about what you care about and don’t have a selfish mentality to only focus on them.
Almost three pages later and 600 words later, I am searching for the words that will sum up this article.
Everything has a chain reaction. Make every action positive in your life, including the people you associate with and the activities you do, as well as the words you say. By making a conscious effort to do the things outlined here, as well as employing positive self-talk and not allowing negative, self-talk or words to materialize, you will be editing your life.
I was married to a rocket scientist for 15 years and I think I am still part “engineer”. Engineers are modest people who always think of what they do in terms of “one of the group”, never taking credit for anything really.
I remember when I graduated at the top of my class at Chapman University in their Master’s Certification program in 1997. I was selected by my peers to run a class at The Summit Meeting 1997 that year. People paid $250 each to hear me speak and teach about what epilepsy was and wasn’t, how you acquire it and about the many falsehoods. I was the CEO & Founder of The Epilepsy Connection at the time. I created a PowerPoint Presentation with animations and had an overhead with transparencies that illustrated the many psychological aspects a person deals with when they have the invisible disorder.
In order to say the main points and to create the thing, I remember Mark-my ex-husband the rocket scientist, telling me-
“Do it this way instead: Cross off everything that is false and you will be left with the truth.”
I was doing it the opposite way but after he said that, I couldn’t believe how easy it was to arrive at the main points I wanted people to walk out of there with.
I say this because; you want to represent the truth and purity of intention with no hypocrisy or manipulative people around you. When you think you have found anything other than the truth and the best it can offer, edit it, so you will always be left with the truth, and what represents you the best.
As for the presentation I did for the people at Chapman U. I told them that a “friend of mine” had the disorder and I know I could help others who had it.
At the end of the presentation, I told them “The friend was me.”
People had tears in their eyes, and many did a standing ovation, and came and looked at me saying, “I never would have known!”
I looked back and said, “I know. People with epilepsy can do anything anyone else can and anyone at any age can acquire it by a fever, convulsions or a coma or a blow on the head. I had all of those things and nearly died before my second birthday. I have nearly died 4 times in my life and only want the best of the world to come my way and give the best back as long as I live.

Haikus Created when I had No Phone, No Computer, Nothing but Myself & Ingenuity
I recently ended up in a really bad hospital I was never supposed to have ever ended up in. Void of all communication and inundated with negative stimuli. I will tell you more details, if you ask and as time goes on. I  suffered through three days there and had my privacy violated, and time wasted and all for no valid reason.

Being that I am a “high functioning primate” I will search relentlessly in whatever situation I am in to find all my available “tools” and then I implement them!

These Haiku are a product of being in a situation I should never have been and making the best of out a prison-like existence. I am seeking a malpractice attorney regarding the specifics of how I got there, the money I lost and damages done currently.

Idea Concept by Paulette Le Pore Motzko for
Totally Inspired Mind: Where Positive Minds Congregate &
Writer’s Work Lab

A Sweet young lady I met recently who has the whole world ahead of her and is so talented!

I saw a bunch of quotes on a huge bulletin board in a hospital I was at recently and discovered Chrstine was the writer of all of them. It had been her dream to have the world read her poetry and writings. I immediately knew I could easily realize her dream by airing it on Totally Inspired Mind and also on Writer’s Work Lab.  If you could have only seen the look on her face and the sparkle in her eyes at the thought. She gave me some of the most kind compliments I have ever been given in my life and I will always remember them and her fondly. I look forward to meeting her mother one day too.

I want to arrange a time to take a nice photo of her so you can see the young lady behind these words. She has had many struggles in her life but even in the short time I have known her has come leaps and bounds. I wish her and her mother only the best in every way.

“If your perception is full of enlightenment, then I can call you an eternal optimist.”

“Why go for evil when you’re more stabilized at being good; I don’t get you.”

“It takes evil to oppose pure evil, to my perception, it’s only appropriate if you’re fighting for righteousness.”

“You say I’m not supposed to comply so much if I think the person’s wrong, because it’s only fueling the fire. I refuse to think this is being humble. Your own perspective of respect sounds degrading to me. ….Hypocrisy!!”

“Patience doesn’t mean putting up with people’s crap to you? Bitch please!!!”

“The problem is how we think of a situation; it could be positive or negative.”

“Your own perception is openly and frequently the problem. You know why?”

“Boredom is next to depression.”

“Our state of mind is deprived by our own law for ourselves. We are prisoners to our own mind.”

“Always look for something to look forward to.”

“So repetitive to this philosophy: Don’t ever let life pass you by.”

“The goal is to seize the deceptive brain.”

What do Christine’s words make you think of?

Which ones strike a key with you and ring the loudest to you?

You can Help Kroger Bring Hope & Food To Tables Across The Country

Kroger cares not only in bringing you the best stores that offer the highest quality at the best prices, but also with BringingHopeToTheTable.com, they are feeding people all over the nation and making a big difference.

They are doing this through caring souls who want to help in donating money, their time, and their resources.

  • << tutoring kids at your local Kids Cafe
  • << repackaging donated food for use at food pantries
  • << transporting food to charitable agencies

You can get involved too by going to the link I provided here.

Those who are financially well off can help those who are not. Those who are not financially well off but have caring hearts can help in ways that cost nothing at all-but your time and a little gas of your car transporting food to charitable agencies.

I believe in a Triple Win Philosophy-of I Win, You Win, Society Wins. In this case, the poor and unfed win and we can make that happen!

Here in the Cardio Monitoring Unit-Updated

My friend Wendy Le Blanc came again to see me and it was wonderful visiting with her, as she told me funny stories in sign language that made me LAUGH. At TIMES LIKE NOW, LAUGHTER is my BEST MEDICINE.

Thanks Wendy for being an awesome friend!

I got a new room mate here on floor 7 observation deck-Delores, who is a kind 7th Day Adventist lady with the warmest smile who is having pain in her legs. The testing machines have been coming in and outta here like Grand Central Station. I hope they find something that helps her & I also hope nothing is seriously wrong.

It has been nice having quiet all day with no tv or noise except when I had my MyTouch Q smart phone tuned serenading me with my iHeart Radio Bach station. I did a hours of writing and creating and just doing things on the computer I had wanted but some how never had the time.

Even though I don’t feel completely up to par, I am worlds better than before I arrived.

Listen to your instincts and if you don’t feel well, get checked out at your local urgent care, or in my case I was rushed by ambulence because I would describe myself as a walking time bomb that felt like all the stress from last year and recently built up to a grand finale that was crying out with a white flag that said “help me will you someone, help me!”

Just because I don’t have children, don’t discriminate me.
I am a human being that should live in safety, dignity and have all my corporal needs met; that was not the case and hadn’t been the case for some time.
I would like to work towards society and the medical/welfare system treating women without children (me and many others I know) and women with kids the same. They are not treated equally now in 2014. I hope I can lobby to make all treated with the same importance, same help and never turned away hearing, “we would help you but you don’t have children,” as I have heard at the Medical office and countless other places.

Things are changing already, because I demanded they change to the right people when I arrived.

I think some of the nurses who have helped me and went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible will be lifelong friends.

As a violin serenades me with Hayn’s Sympony Number 9 in G I shall say thank you for the many prayers that have come in from friends all over the world from writer friends, bloggers, famous authors and photographers. Thank you for giving me a friendship bouquet of love…as each one of you is like a flower.

My nurse Nina is asking what all the blood tests revealed. I am anxious to know. Goodness knows, what they took out of me could satisfy a hungry vampire for decades!

And to my local friends like Wendy Le Blanc and Mike Darras thank you for your calls, texts and visits. You warmed my heart and filled it with love and love heals just about anything or at least makes whatever you are going through more bearable.

Update at 8:00 p.m. May 20th, 2014th
My blood pressure levels have normalized again and all the blood enzyme levels showed that my chest pains were stress related. I haven’t heard that from my cardiologist though-only the nurses here. Keep wanting to talk to the guy and hear it from him.

I saw several specialists and talked to what felt like infinitum about lots of unpleasant topics and I just want to move on and upward with my life. I am hoping by tomorrow I will know more about housing programs, having the psychologist aid in helping the social worker maximize my options for running the papers for Medicare part B of which I am eligible.

Maybe this isn’t the most exciting post I have ever written, but it is my life and I know having a wonderful place to live would allow me to do everything from teach piano again, write resumes, presentations and web content ect at my desk in peace and privacy.

Please folks, if you pray, say a prayer that a place comes through by tomorrow. I think I could be released tomorrow or very soon, and want a place to go to.

IN only ten days I will have the ability to pay the rent on a place.

They were going to explore me going into an assisted living home for a short while-6 months or one year. Does anyone know if I would be free to come and go when I want?

Do any of the now 1014 followers of Totally Inspired Mind know if I would sign over my entire ssi check to the manager
of the assisted living home? Someone told me they take it all and I would have to ask for money like a kid with an allowance. I hope that isn’t true.

I hope all of you reading this tonight have health, peace of mind, joy and know true happiness.

Thank you for caring and being my extended family.

“When you are dispirited, held back, beat down and you have no one,you can give up, give in, or you can find those things you need to stand within yourself. If no one else believes in you, then you must believe in yourself. If you can not get the love you need from others, you must make room in your heart and give that love to yourself. You must accept yourself exactly as you are, all your flaws, all your faults, all your dreams.” – Jill Anzinger

It is amazing what I can create in the emergency room!

These photos I thought were destroyed somehow in the bright sunlight, as they were nowhere in site in the gallery on my Smart phone. Then, all of a sudden they appeared yesterday afternoon.

I had never passed through Dana Point Harbor before until this Mother’s Day. I hope to visit it again, with my Nikon camera and venture beyond where I was sitting..to see the wharf and see more of the charm of the area.

I am at the hospital with chest pains-180 was systolic of my blood pressure

This week has felt like turmoil and after the Irwin family-the family of the woman with macular degeneration I was the caregiver, cook and assistant to-told me I had to leave at noon…not even giving me 24 hours.

After waking up in a cold sweat I knew my mission was finding where I would go until my ssi check arrived. Had the family not treated me like an animal, expending me like a used tube of toothpaste myself and allowed my ssi check to come in, I could have had the money to rent a room somewhere, and looked in the meantime.

Pray this hell will be the beginning of a living situation that is stable and calm and peaceful for me.

They just took a blood test to see if I had any heart attacks (which I surely hope I didn’t) and just took an EKG.

Everybody in the Le Pore side has either heart problems, high blood pressure or hernias. I haven’t had anything and don’t want any.

I need a housing voucher, room mate or more money.
I was working on the more money part by writing my resume, and a “friend” kept interruping me. After the 5th interruption, I felt a sharp chest pain.
Last count my blood pressure’s systolic is 135…so I am doing better.

Currently, at 1:34 a.m. I was admitted to the hospital for observation with heart monitors on.
I am really tired now so I will keep you posted what the doctors say as I know more

Where do you find your peace of mind?

For every one of is the meaning is just a little different. For me it is in the sea and hearing the seagulls and crashes of the surf against the rocks and feeling the salty air brush my face.

I love how being in big, beautiful expanses of green makes me feel and in quiet places where I can hear my soul speak to me.

Where do you hear your soul speak to you?
