“What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.” – Joseph Addison
When was the last time that you smiled at someone or helped someone, just because you were able to?
What do you remember about the way they reacted to you noticing them and being observant of their needs instead of yours?
So often, in the hustle and bustle of living, we get caught up with looking down at either our Smart phones, a book or tuning out with an IPOD earbud, that many have lost the ability to look around and listen to the people around us and pay attention to what is happening at that moment in time– the present.
Give yourself a present, and tune turn the volume up on living and the world you live in and those you come in contact with this week. Watch how it makes a difference in your life and those around you.
