“A friend is one who has the same enemies as you have.” – Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was right in his funny statement about friends having the same enemies.
Everyone has at least an enemy or two because those that claim they don’t are either not being totally honest or they agree with anything anybody does or says and doesn’t fight to make things better for others.
Sometimes when you voice your political opinions you make enimies or at least opposers. You cannot please the whole world, nor would you want to.
You cannot control what people think about you, you just need to keep a supportive network of people around you who believe in you, like who you are and what you value & believe in.
Drop the others who are fight pickers, losers, moochers, goofs, frauds and wimps who are basically in a word apathetic. They are so afraid at the consequences of their actions that they don’t do anything at all. What a waste that is.
Don’t get me wrong here, nobody wants enemies in this world and I surely don’t. Some people are like talking to a brick wall and don’t listen.
If you don’t listen you never learn anything new.
You stagnate and never open your mind.
Be always learning, becoming, growing as a human being and strive to select friends that feel the same. The losers will fall by the wayside when they see with dedication and preserverance you can accomplish.
Who you AVOID in life is as important as WHO YOU HOPE TO MEET.
Much as in you hope to meet people with the same interests, like attracting them like a magnet.
I also hope to repel all that is counterproductive or who is evil, verbally or physically abusive in any way…like water beads on Vaseline.
How’s that for imagery?
