Have a peaceful and happy Thanksgiving everybody!
Remember it isn’t important how lumpy your gravy is that goes with the turkey, but that you are blessed enough to have turkey to eat.
Nobody cares about the dust on your furniture but sitting with you on the couch or chair and talking and visiting with YOU.
You don’t have to be a carbon copy of Martha Stewart (I hope there aren’t any walking around anywhere!), but listen to your inner voice and be true to yourself. Do what you can afford, not what your neighbor does.
Life isn’t a contest or a relay race.
If you can’t be with your family, be with loved ones around you who care about you, support you in act, word and deed.
Look around your table, instead of what’s on the table.
Pray in your own way.
Say you love the one who is sitting with you.
If you have nobody to celebrate with, as I almost did, until my friend Mike Darras called and invited me to a wonderful turkey dinner….volunteer in a senior home to help in cook or serve or do something. You will be appreciated and nobody will eat alone.
If there were a table that would seat all the followers of this site…or a room that would seat all of you, it would be a huge ampitheater.
Thank you all for being dedicated readers of what I create.
I am thankful God gave me many talents of writing, photography and cooking and I am thankful for all 500 of you my readers.
God bless you all.
