Bagel Jesus

I want to work with the budget makers in Orange County, CA so that I never see another homeless disabled person at the bus stops! We need to take care of our own in our own cities first, then look outward to give to other countries. If we do not do that we are weakening ourselves from a fiscal standpoint and our people suffer needlessly. America is the richest nation on earth if we would only use our resources in a smarter way seeing that people’s basic needs are met.

  1. Thank-you for your inspirational story. I am in agreement that we need to take care of our own here in the States first. There are many people that need help here in the States. We need to focus our hearts here. Thank-you for liking my blog, and may God bless you.

  2. Thanks for sharing the positive in your blogs, and I’ve now started to follow. I, too, am just starting to add to the positive of the world – so important in this day and age of so much stress and negativity. I hope we may exchange and share … keep it up. Nick (blogging at Notevole)

    • Hello there Nicholas,
Paulette Le Pore Motzko here just seeing your wonderful commwent in full. I spotted it the other day when I was coming back on a Greyhound bus and then the computer went dead shortly after. ( should have charged all my devices the night before. I assumed Greyhound had plugs in it like the nicer bus line I took on the way out to AZ. Motto of that story-don’t assume and don’t assume Greyyound is a good company with clean buses, because it isn’t! I filed a complaint with the GM of the Tucson bus station and still haven’t heard from him. Some security guard was making wise cracks about what was in each bag he went through! In CA there are no such things as people like him. We replaced him with X Ray machines!
That got a big laugh on the Greyound bus, but it I am still out about $50 for the bags I carried on they shouldn’t have charged me for.
What is the name of your blog?
Can you send me the URL to it?

What is your full name so I can memorize it?

If you ever get an idea for a story, let me know and maybe we can collaborate.

  3. Hey 🙂

I completely agree on the need for the authorities to focus, firstly, on the homeless and needy on our own doorsteps. Too often these unfortunate people are brushed aside, looked down on and even despised.

Please keep up the good work!

    Peace, DD

    • I am glad you liked the post and also what I wrote about it. I am not sure what office I am joining to try and make that happen, but I feel very strongly about that. To me the answer is so simple, I just don’t understand why the congress-people complicate things so much!

Take care of the basic needs of our own. Once we all in America have shelter, and live in dignity, which is far from what is going on, then give our money away to other countries.
We have wars here in America that nobody is fighting and should be.
Why is this such a difficult concept for President Obama to understand?
I voted for him but do not agree with most of what he is doing.
Our involvement with the wars of other countries is doing nothing but putting us more in debt than before and killing thousands of men and women in the military.
What good are we doing by being in Afghanistan?
Would good could we do if the same money was spend in our own country?
That is a good question indeed.
