Don’t Chase People-Instead Try to Attract The Right People-Reflect What You Want to Find

Be What You Want to Attract

By Paulette Le Pore Motzko

Instead of chasing people who could care less, simply invest your precious time on those who already know your worth. This is a gift to yourself and them. There are too many people who already like you and feel you are worthy, without a “sell-job”. Everyone has their special innate talents and gifts and personalities. Some personalities clash like cymbals such as my brothers and I who have tempers and are like bulls in china closets putting always on the gruff exterior.

We all play our own melodies that reflect what we believe, what we love and what we value. When you put them all together it plays a kind of “music of our soul” and who we are. Why play punk music or acid rock when you want Bach instead? Why listen to John Cage in dissonant notes of 21st century modern music when you can instead listen to French Impressionistic Claude Debussy or Big Band Glenn Miller, or Henry Mancini, Montovani, or popular music? We are all byproducts of our upbringings and what we learn and grow into, like flowers. Some don’t get proper fertilizer and end up as weeds, and aren’t pretty at all but grow out all over the place.

Write down the things that matter to you in values and then make sure you show that to people in every word that comes out of your mouth. If you value people who “do what they say they do”, then make darn sure you do the same, or your integrity will be lost forever.

I hope you have enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Somehow no matter what I am going through, when I write it is as though all the concepts and imagery all come together like a grand symphony.

Remember in life nothing is constant and things are constantly changing around us, just look at the earth as a grand example. We are rotating on an axis every moment of the day but it is so gradual it is indistinguishable.

Keep what you love around you-in terms of people and things and you will be a much happier and healthier person.

That last sentence when employed and put to work in you life can save you health problems, aggravation and also dusting a million objects around your house that you didn’t even care about in the first place.

When everything in your world, including people, earn their place in your hearts and world by being something or someone that gives you joy back, your life takes a new meaning.

What do you hope to attract in your life?

Is there anyone you were chasing without knowing it? Don’t force life or people or situations. There are too many people that cannot imagine a world without you in it to focus on the few that aren’t intelligent enough you include you in theirs.

I wish you health, peace, serenity and enough money to keep you happy and pay for what you need and some left over to enjoy some of what you want!

Money isn’t evil-it removes stress and is a tool to accomplish things in life. It is what you do with the money that makes it bad or good, much like the internet.

Being Strong Doesn’t Mean You Have To Fight The Battle

Image

In life you don’t always have to fight the big and small wars you encounter. You don’t always have to outdo or one up people. Sometimes it is just better to just move on and think before you speak and act and ask yourself:

1. What is the best outcome that will happen if I say this or do this?

2. Is this really worth my time?

3. What would happen if I didn’t do anything at all?

4. What is the worst that will happen if I ignore this entirely?

The last year has been really stressful on me, probably the worst in my life personally but the best in terms of what I have endured and accomplished. I can see from a wise perspective what to rate as important and what not to. You must always consider the source of your scrutiny and decide if it is worth you even getting upset about it. Nine times out of then, it is not worth a grain of salt. When the majority of the people in your life are supportive and positive, you simply cannot let the 3% or 4% that is left set you off-guard.

There are usually ten or more ways to approach any situation, and you will have to sit down and take time to analyze them. Also, meditate and pray-whichever applies, or both, to gain wisdom and peace and insight as well.

I am doing this where my siblings are concerned who have made my life a living hell for the last year, fighting over my mother’s property and treating me as though I don’t exist or at least am not a human being. They will have regrets one day for thoughtless words said and I will press forward and remove the negativity out of my life entirely. There comes a time when that is alright.

Many Christian religions would disagree with me but when you allow people who hurt you in your life again, you are exposing the most vulnerable side of you to be hurt again. If someone is verbally or physically abusive-simply extricate them. Any psychologist would agree with me on that. People who demand to be treated with respect are and the abuse ends when you don’t allow it any more.

I got rid of bleeding ulcers by removing 3 people out of my life several years ago. I couldn’t afford the $20 pills, so I simply removed the root of the problem!

I was married to a real rocket scientist for nearly 15 years and I became a bit like him in my logical thinking-which isn’t a bad thing. In life shoot for the easiest, most direct solution to your problem.

You cannot fight every war and some wars don’t deserve to be fought. You could spend that valuable thing called TIME doing something way more productive in your life like succeeding and reaching your goals.

That is what I am choosing to do here.

The rest of them can fight over the house like animals but I will always see my mother and care about her as long as I live. The best of who I am I owe to her.

Driving Life’s Highway by Brother Carl Frye

Driving Life’s High  Way by Brother Carl Frye

Here is a wonderful post written by my dear friend Brother Carl Frye in Coushatta, LA. I read it on Facebook and immediately thought how wonderful it would be to share it with all my nearly 900 readers on this site.

Brother Carl Frye is a pretty extraordinary guy. We went to high school together many years ago at Garden Grove High and after I married we lost touch with one another. He located me on Facebook because I kept my full name on it, and we have been in touch ever since. I am working on editing his book manuscript, and will let you know when it is finished.

*******************************************************************************************************************

As we journey down life’s highway we travel among much traffic.we have objects that are bigger than us that need room to pass so we stay in the slow lane.As we travel along the way we see the line that divides the road, and one each side white lines which divide the median from the road and the shoulder of the road, and straight ahead traffic ahead of us.If the traffic ahead of us slows down we must slow down,We must keep up with the traffic ahead of us so the ones behind us will travel safely also. When we walk with God we travel with him.We see the line he puts in our road dividing it so we won’t go astray. He puts lines on the side of us to keep us from going off the side of the road,or the median, and we travel always looking straight ahead because we are all going the same direction, the same place, and stopping at the same destination.God’s House. As we travel always obey the signs that God put there to see, obey all his laws, give the right of way to more mature Christians, and always travel the same speed together until God has told you to turn off at an exit that leads you to your ministry, your calling,or your destination of his choice.God’s highway is sometimes very busy, and there is much traffic on it,but if people will work together, and allow others the right of way then we can all reach our destinations together.

Drive carefully.!

Have a blessed day.!

Truly Seeing The World Around You by Paulette Le Pore Motzko

Copyright March 2013

I love what this said in that it illustrates that some really don’t truly live but go through life blinders on to the sights, scents and amazing small miracles they encounter. When we open up our world to the sights and scents and all the experiences in life, we truly live.

For instance, here is a great exercise to become better at TRULY SEEING LIFE. PRETEND YOU ARE EXPLAINING WHAT YOU ARE SEEING AND EXPERIENCING TO SOMEONE WHO IS BLIND.

I had a great friend when I was younger who was blind and I used to explain in glorious detail what I was seeing for her and only wished she could see what I did. I also had a client who was blind and had epilepsy and he called me for help when I was the CEO/Founder of The Epilepsy Connection. It was Friend & Family Day at The Braille Institute and none of his family wanted to go with him, so I became his family and was honored.

If you have never volunteered your time at The Braille Institute, or been there it will literally “open your eyes” to some of the most courageous and intelligent people you will ever encounter. I wore a blind fold to simulate blindness and then cooked (or at least tried to) with the blind fold on. It didn’t go very well because I had no grasp of where things were from each other and I realized what blind people have to go through on a daily basis to do even the most simple things.

Then I wore goggles to simulate being partially blind, which was worse than the other, because things looked distorted and out of focus. Then they gave me a can to walk with and we were supposed to find our way home, with an assistance, who gave directions and described in glorious detail what I was coming up against and allowing my ears to make up for my eyes.

In the center of The Braille Institute in Anaheim on Dale is a beautiful fountain with crystalline waters flowing from it. I have always loved fountains and the charm of them but had no idea there was a distinct reason why the fountain was there. Do you know why it was there?

It was to give orientation to all the people there who had vision impairments-blind or partially blind. They could sense where they were from the center of the building.  My senses were not in tune with it and I never really got a sense for where I was at, but I had an even deeper appreciation of people who were blind, who taught many of the courses and looked just like anyone else. Epilepsy and blindness have several things in common:

1. They are permanent disabilities

2. They are for the most part invisible to others

3. They make those whose lives have been touched by it gain a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

4. Anyone can acquire epilepsy or blindness if the right set of circumstances arose

In my case, I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 9 years old and was a very sick child passing out all over the place and it took awhile to find a medicine gave me the control I now have. Consciousness, uninterrupted normalcy was a highly appreciated thing and compassion was a thing I learned at a very early age, along with big words, and hanging around with people who were 30 years my senior because the “kids” my age didn’t understand what I was going through and were not nice.

Going back to the name of this post/article, the next time you go outside on a pretty day, pick up a pen and paper and write down what you see. I mean, really write it down as though you are seeing for the first time and are explaining to someone who cannot see. It will change your world forever.

I don’t know who wrote this but I discovered it on Facebook just now and thought I would share it all with the now 816 followers of Totally Inspired Mind. I have my house nearly packed up and it is strange to see it all in boxes scattered throughout the place. I have been here for 12 years and I will be heading for Tucson, Arizona very soon!

A touching poem by A Voiceless Messenger for you to enjoy. The creator of this site doesn’t realize that in each thing written there is a true voice that rings even though it isn’t audible.
