I remember this well when I was in grade school and was different than the rest of the kids and very sickly.
Only now, 40 years later and much wiser, do I look and see how miniscule the brats of yesteryear were in perspective. The same kids when I was older in high school and was much healthier, wanted to be my friends and I only saw them as the hypocrites they were.
If you can’t say something nice, don’t say it. If you say something be constructive, if you are giving criticism. You can demoralize someone and make them want to give up by not watching what you say.
Words are can be as sharp as daggers or as soft as a feather and as comforting as a a nice back rub.
Think before you speak and it will give you will always be glad you did!
