Tea Parties, Mothers and Recollections

It is wonderful to meet k8edid through her words here about her mother and her relationship with her. I used to have tea parties all the time with my mother Ramona Lea who is 81 years old with Alzheimer’s disease and lives with my sister temporarily in Moreno Valley, CA, about an hour from me. In a month’s time the house that my parent’s had together will be sold, and it is a sad thing for many reasons.
I miss the special dinners mom and I had together and the many things we used to do together and will savor them like a cup of tea in my memory forever.
I welcome you to not only join Totally Inspired Mind but add any of your very touching words any time.

The photo is not of my mom Ramona Le Pore but of the author k8edid who wrote this from her blog.

Read this outstanding article from StemCollege about how to prepare disabled students on the value of persistence. I know about this all too well, because I was once one of them enrolled in Special Ed classes and Adaptive PE classes later in my life.
The ability to be a positive role model for others with disabilities is critical. To inspire another human being to become, to grow to greater heights is my greatest pleasure on earth.

Read the courageous words of Peggy Wright in her blog “Strengthened by Grace” about her father and her precious memories of him. I wish you peace and my most sincere condolences to your family at this time.

The Way People Treat You is a Statement About Who They Are…

The Way People Treat You is a Statement About Who They Are...

I have been reminding myself of that for the last two years as I have been battling the very arrogant, selfish and hateful actions of my siblings Brenda Bunker, Mike Bunker-brother in law, Bob Le Pore and Mike Le Pore.
They have rose themselves to all time lows of character, demeanor and gave new meaning to the world apeahetic and selfish.
I lived next to my mother in a large duplex for 12 years. They want me out of the property to sell it and get the money. Greed unfortunately changes people into monsters.

Good news: Though we are related I do not represent their ideals, or viewpoints and still know the meaning of honesty and integrity. That is really all that matters.

Describe Yourself in Words & Pictures in the Guest Book on “Cooking Up a Storm All Over The World!”

purpleflowersinlongbeach4.09The site that began it all with me in the world of blogging was my first cooking site called “Cooking Up a Storm All Over The World!” I read an article in a writing magazine and it opened my eyes to the potential of blogging, what it was and what it could do for my writing career. I read it, read it again, then learning everything about this mysterious thing called a “blog”.

Two years later there are 207 members on the site from all over the world, and there are a few Contributing Writers who share their “fortes” with the world, adding a recipe a week, a forum topic and a discussion. It gives them experience, exposure and allows me to share their fantastic content on my site. I also share their posts with my 1000 followers between Face Book and Twitter for posting things on my site, as a Thank You.

One of the things you can do is join it, check it out and see if you might like to share your expertise on it. Also, this year I am going to be creating the first Field Correspondent, who will tell about their city and state and what is new and hot in that area then report on it. It will be required to have a video camera on your phone or a real one to do it, and some one to video you for the short 3 to 5 minute videos that will be uploaded to the video section of the site.

I envision it being pretty exciting and dynamic as well.

I would love to have one from every state eventually in the USA.

Here is the link to the section on the site that will allow you to sign the Guest Book. What I ask people to do on it, is not simply sign your name, but describe yourself in words and pictures.

http://cookingupastorminca.ning.com/page/world-wide-guest-book

You will have to copy and paste that to your browser.

I hope I see some new ones. That is what makes the site great.

Women Who Thrive Women’s Weekly

I created a weekly news paper that is derived from about 30 news sources that have to do with women who have overcome and persisted and succeeded. Women who mentor other women, help others to achieve their highest potential. I know that is what I am attracted to and I hope you all enjoy this first premier issue of “Women Who Thrive” created in the wee hours of the morn by me-Paulette Le Pore MotzkoImage

Collaborating With a Fellow Writer

As always I read each issue of Writer’s Digest magazine and in the November/December 2012 issue as one of the writing prompts to encourage creativity and imagination, it suggested doing this very thing. Be it Ben Carlin, Chef Chuck Kerber, Teresa Reale La Pasticciona or someone I don’t even know, I am open minded.

I can write about cooking, food, restaurants, the food industry, and do various non-fiction articles about diet, nutrition, health, mind/body/spirit medicine, East/West therapies, motivational pieces, self exploration, poetry, Haikus. There is a list for you to begin with!

Send your ideas to TotallyInspiredPC@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from you. Some times a person can create something more extraordinary with two or more involved. This could be one of those times.

Sixty One New Followers of Totally Inspired Mind & Arranging a Meeting with the Mayor of LA

Image

As I have been adding videos, categorizing old posts so none say “uncategorized” and the other laborious things involving keeping this up and running and working….I just got word that there were 61 new followers here.

I will say I am so pleased that I can give joy to so many people and that my readers think that what I write educates them, inspires them and shows them new ways of thinking. I changed the format of the site today. What do you think of the changes I made?

Until I put up the next post that I wrote yesterday at Starbucks, about 2000 words, I bid you all a wonderful evening. It is raining here in southern California.

Still looking for a place that I can afford.

I also contacted my attorney to get a meeting with the mayor of Los Angeles to so I can discuss issues like taking the CA Budget and increasing the allocated funds for the disabled community like myself about 50 million dollars. That would provide the voucher I desperately need now to afford a one bedroom place somewhere in Orange County now. I would be helping about 200,000 other disabled people who don’t have the fortitude or courage or persistence I do, if I am successful. Everything I have ever done in my life I have been success at.

When I accomplish something in life I picture me shooting a basketball over the top of the moon. I figure if I come in a little next to the top of the moon, I am still doing damn good. Things need to be changed in Orange County, and since Orange County doesn’t have a mayor but it has needs, I will begin there.

I will be writing a petition showing what will be done with the money that I am asking for, but let’s put it this way. I haven’t driven for nearly 15 years and have seen countless disabled people in wheel chairs who are homeless! One person like that is too many! I have seen a dozen on a regular basis and talked to them and heard their stories. It is TRAGIC and they are American Citizens who have civil rights and deserve to live in integrity with roofs over their heads, a place to sleep and a pillow under their heads, not to mention some where to wash themselves and take care of themselves properly. WE have the money in CA to take care of everybody. The money is there period. It needs to be allocated differently and maybe some people’s salaries need to be cut a little to take care of everybody and let everybody live in dignity.

Veterans are another sore issue with me, and my dad was one and crippled in a wheel chair needing 24 hour assistance in the end of his life, ending last September 2012. I have bought care packages for at least a dozen Vets who proudly served this country to end up crippled in a wheelchair forgotten as though they don’t exist! That is outrageous. What kind of country are we that we don’t care of the very people who served and protected all of us?

These are other issues I will be discussing with the Mayor of Los Angeles. I am a good writer, I can write the speeches I give, and have been on television before using teleprompters on a commercial I did for Orange County News Channel when I was the Director for The Epilepsy Foundation. It was the first commercial produced and aired about epilepsy in over 50 years.

I am a catalyst for Positive Change. I never wanted to get into politics but I care about the big picture and don’t see things through the eye of a pin like so many congress people who are rich and don’t know the real life struggles of day to day.

I know I suffered because a lot of the way we do things in this country, which in many respects are wrong and unfair to single men, single women like myself, and giving priority to women with kids, acting as though every one else doesn’t exist or isn’t important. I want to see everyone treated the same with the same opportunities no matter what color their skin or if they have a child or how much they have their bank account.

I have ideas for a Health Care System that I want to propose to President Obama, but it will take a trip to the White House to show it to him.

It is worth it.

I could change the lives of millions of people if I did. Someone has to care to begin with. That person is going to be Antonio Viliagosi who I sent repeat faxes to with no contact back. My attorney called him and I am sure now he knows I mean business.

I wish that the most important things were the easiest to obtain in life, but they aren’t.

“The open mouth gets fed” as they say or “the one that makes the most noise gets heard.”

I know that when the mayor sees me, and talks to me, it will be harder to forget me. Then things begin to happen to change the way things are…..for the better.

have had Vietnamese men at Starbucks when discussing politics and promoting English in this county and opening the job market up for everybody who can do the job, hiring interpreters for those who need it

Paulette Le Pore Motzko: Looking for a Full Time Job That Uses My Abilities

I have been doing relentless job searches over the last few weeks to find a position that will use my abilities and skills and can generate at a minimum two thousand dollars a month, so I can then afford a place of my own in Orange County, CA.

I can start immediately and do not have children, no husband and can work 40 hours a week.

Currently The Corner Bakery Cafe is considering me for possibly something in Dallas, TX.

All I know is the property I am living is will be going up for sale in two months, which will be April 2013. I want to be out of here, long gone, and into a life that is positive, knowing my mother, who has Alzheimer’s Disease, will then be taken care of by my other 3 siblings.

After 12 years of staying by here, I can think of me, putting me number one.

I am open minded to living any where I can live a good life, have a place of my own and have a neighborhood that is close to stores, safe for a single woman,  and people who speak English.

I am striving to live in a place I truly call “home”. Where I am at is falling apart and due to being outnumbered in a literal war, the place I am living in will probably be bull-dozed to the ground once I leave it. It is a shame, but then again, this property could have generated up to four thousand a month with just a little tender loving care!

If anyone knows of a position, be it a manager of a mobile home park, where I could get a place to live, or any other position, please let me know. Or if you are an employer and are interested in hiring me, you can reach me at the following email address.

Since people read what I write from all over the world, this post could reach the very person who ends up hiring me!

Here is the link to the newly created, hot-off-the-press Face Book page. I am still learning how this all works, so be patient with me!

It just proves, when someone asks me something I listen and I also try and put what people suggest to me, into action when I see it has great merit.

Thanks for asking me about a Facebook page because there are four types of Facebook pages you can create! I didn’t know that!

Stay tuned!

Once a writer writes something, the trick is getting it “out there” in the big blue expanse and hoping that people find merit in what you write about. That is what has happened with this site, one of the 5 I created and write one.

I had no idea what a blog was a few years back, but found a Writer’s Market book at the Newport Beach Library telling me how creating a blog would create readership, build a web platform, and I could tell the world about something that really mattered to me.

I then had the idea to create a member based cooking site that involved way more than cooking, and had features on it and would be a test run for the cook book that will eventually be in print. “Cooking Up a Storm All Over The World!” now has 206 members from all over the world, and has many people who are Contributing Writers on it. I can assign titles to anyone, allowing burgeoning writers to show case their work, which gives me joy. I never imaged it would have turned into something so extraordinary–but it did.

Now Totally Inspired Mind is becoming more popular every day, with 25-30 new followers a week, unheard of by comparison to my first cooking site! The comments I have gotten from people are all stellar, for the reasons I want them to be.

I have many SEO Marketers contacting me about the word choice I use. In regards to this, I did SEO Writing for a client of mine for a year and though I did it and got paid for it, I didn’t care for it at all. SEO rules goes against the DNA of every good writer and forces a person to be redundant, use simple language and it is not a natural way to write. I have recently invested in many hundreds of dollars in SEO/Marketing books that say the opposite about SEO.

I believe in simply writing great content and attract people to the sites I create by the sheer fact that is great. I have avoided gimmicks on purpose because I don’t want to bribe someone to “read my stuff!” I have plans to do Affiliate Marketing on the sites this years and Sponsorships to companies I fully endorse their products and methodologies.

What SEO writing does and SEO in general is it it forces traffic to your site, not because it is good content but because you are tricking the search engines to find it! I want to be found on the merits that I am a great writer and that I offer people something of value.

I am a genuine person and I want my philosophies and practices reflect that. I am not a hypocrite and the only people in my life are good people who care about the world, the environment, people around them, children and our future. if they are not that, I really don’t want to “hang around with them”. Who you don’t associate with is just as important as who you do, because negative people drag you down like a ball and chain wrapped around your ankle. I know, because I had some family members who whose actions were the polar opposite of that.

I got rid of bleeding ulcers by simply removing the cause of them, and I was related to 4 of them!

In the 50 comments I have replied to today, someone asked me if I had a Facebook Page for Totally Inspired Mind, and I told them no, but I will certainly go create one since I know there is a want and desire!

You see in life I listen to what people say, and if I feel there are enough people who would follow the page, I would create it. It wouldn’t take me very long in the grand scheme of things.

If any one has a story that you feel would fit nicely on Totally Inspired Mind and thing more positive minds would appreciate it, send it to me at:

TotallyInspiredPC@gmail.com

Thank you again for reading what I write, appreciating the photos that I take with all the love in the world.

Until next time,

One Tree Can Start a Forest

Every action has a reaction in life-a truth that I had restated over and over in the Master’s Certification program in Voluntary Leadership at Chapman University I graduated from in 1997.

I was the Founder & CEO of The Epilepsy Connection then and helped about 350 people in a database and in 3 countries showing them resources in their area. It really isn’t hard to change a life in 5 minutes, if you really want to.

The prerequisites to changing the world and changing lives are simple:

1. Passion to make a difference

2. Knowledge and to CARE enough to CHANGE SOMEONE’S LIFE STANDARD, or to want to IMPROVE EVERYBODY’S LIFE QUALITY BY CHANGING A POLICY OR LAW.

3. ACTION to change it or to help someone.

When you invest some of your time on someone else’s behalf, and they live a better life as a result of it, it is the most rewarding, awesome thing in the world!

Strong People Don’t Put Others Down….

Strong People Don't Put Others Down....

I remember this well when I was in grade school and was different than the rest of the kids and very sickly.

Only now, 40 years later and much wiser, do I look and see how miniscule the brats of yesteryear were in perspective. The same kids when I was older in high school and was much healthier, wanted to be my friends and I only saw them as the hypocrites they were.

If you can’t say something nice, don’t say it. If you say something be constructive, if you are giving criticism. You can demoralize someone and make them want to give up by not watching what you say.

Words are can be as sharp as daggers or as soft as a feather and as comforting as a a nice back rub.

Think before you speak and it will give you will always be glad you did!

There are Four Important Words In Life….

There are Four Important Words In Life....

I live by a credo that if you don’t have integrity you really don’t have anything, or more aptly put-you aren’t anything!

Lots of people claim they are successful, but if you aren’t a good person, you are missing the DNA of a human being’s soul.
Love, Honesty, Truth and Respect for Others are key to living a good and rewarding life and allowing others to do the same.
